Set in more than 400 acres of Cornish countryside, with the coastline just next door, at Whalesborough Resort & Spa you can spend your days roaming the region on foot or by bike; diving into a range of exciting watersports with some of the UK’s best surfing spots close by; and discovering the rich heritage of Cornwall.

The resort’s on-site facilities are ready to help you relax and make holiday memories to last a lifetime.

Unwind with a visit to The W Club spa, where you can indulge in an array of treatments and holistic rituals, kick back in the Swedish sauna and steam room, or swim some lengths in the UV-heated indoor pool, which is also the perfect spot for some family fun time thanks to the children’s pool area.

In the summer months, why not take your swim al fresco, and dive into the resort’s heated outdoor pool, situated in a south-facing suntrap.

There’s also a gym to help you build, personalise or keep up with those fitness regimes while you’re on holiday.

Delicious meals are available on-site at The Weir Restaurant, which occupies a beautiful spot next to a lake with indoor and outdoor seating available.

The menus showcase the freshest local produce, some of which comes from the resort’s own farm.

Speaking of which – younger guests in particular will love meeting the animals on the farm, and joining special hand-feeding sessions hosted by Farmer Steve.

Visitor Reviews of Whalesborough Resort and Spa

Date of stay: 5th December 2024
We had a fantastic time at Whalesborough Resort, we stayed for a long weekend to celebrate my father in law's 70th Birthday, we had two properties next to each other. On arrival the manager (I forget his name!) greeted me in reception, he was extremely helpful and gave some tips and all the information we needed and he continued to excel throughout our stay. The kids really enjoyed the pool, which was clean and modern whilst the adults enjoyed all of the pool facilities. I managed to get to the gym which was well upkept and quiet, although we did stay off peak albeit at the weekend. The Weir pub also has some great food, especially for lunch, we used the self catering kitchen facilities which were also modern and the properties were all well kept.We will absolutely be coming again in the future.

Actually stayed in the farmhouse and it’s a beautiful old building. Everything that you could possibly need is catered for.

Great accommodation. All clean and modern. Lovely and warm for the time of year, not too sure how it would be in the summer as no windows to open only doors.

Most of the fixtures and fittings were of a decent standard. However the dining table was pretty scruffy (covered in scuffs and cup rings as it was laminate). Toilet bowls needed a good scrub. Main bedroom was too hot (see main review).

New building and done to excellent quality, missing some basic utensils but staff responded well to feedback. Made our dog feel very welcome with his own welcome back.

Well presented cottage, was lovely to stay there, and would happily stay again, Every thing about it was 5star but two things that could improve on,Cottage was a little dusty and a few cobwebs with spiders around the inside of the property, the rest of it was perfect, all surfaces in kitchen clean and clean floors ect.Fence in the garden could do with painting, the garden is a nice size to sit and relax but a little maintenance would help.
