The cottage is beautiful. Kitchen was well equipped and wanted nothing. Decor is lovely and all the little touches make it a home from home. Could do with more towels. We were a family of 3 and only had 2 big towels. We didnt take any for the hot tub so this made drying difficult.
There was a problem with the hot tub leaking water which we werent made aware of so when we went to use it on day 3 we couldnt until we had refilled it and waited for it to heat back up - it didnt.

Dowr cottage is very warm , cosy and well appointed. It's 50 yards to the link to the SWP and some dramatic coastal scenery and a 15 minute stroll down to Tintagel.

Again, just slight attention to detail was missing. Noisy boiler in bedroom, cracks in walls but comfy and clean beds in spacious, airy rooms.

It was everything we wanted for our weekend away and we loved staying here. We'll definitely be back! Our pups absolutely loved the underfloor heating and had so much fun in the garden. In fact Luna came home with a strained tail and according to the vet it was because she was wagging it so much over the weekend!! Very happy pups and hoomans!

The owners Rob & Sharon, have gone to a great deal of work to sympathetically convert this historic building & we couldn't have had a warmer greeting from them both & of course Bonnie. Such a lovely place to stay in a really beautiful, private location. The owners were really friendly and helpful, nearby if needed but without breaking that sense of privacy.
