Beach Cove Coastal Retreat

The apartment had everything we needed and with a spectacular view of the bay. Local amenities were good with a large Tesco nearby. Well placed for access by car to lots of interesting locations such as Lynton & Lynmouth and for those fancying a bit of surfing Woolacombe 20 mins away.Only bit that needs improving would be a bit of updating on the some of the fixtures as we did have some window locks that did not work properly, but overall clean and tidy.

Requires tlc and new furniture, living room cabinet well past sell by date , sofa ripped, paint and sealant required in lots of the unit, bathroom cabinet well past its sell by date, mirror in bathroom where it meets sink grubby and ot sealed.High level cleaning wouldntgo a miss..Not for anyone with mobility problems or like taking clothes on holiday as no where to store clothes. Really enjoyed the location and hot tube, would definitely not pay high season prices, as the unit is looking and feels shabby. After all said it did not distract from having a great holiday, dueto the great location.

We had a lovely week, accommodation is lovely, a small and cosy space. there is no wardrobe/storage space however this is clear in pictures etc but would be a nice addition is space wasn’t an issue.The hot tub was nice, very private, we had no issues with this and the patio furniture was nice. We were lucky to have the weather to sit outside a few times in our stay! It would be nice if the frosted glass stickers could be replaced as these are starting to looking a little worn.

Lovely chalet clean tidy with amazing views

We had a fabulous 5 days staying in this cute beach hut. Very comfy cosy. Clean and nicely decorated. Everything you need for a few nights away. Very well equipped. Beautiful views of the cove and out to sea. Very hilly! Staff were very friendly and helpful. We booked last minute so price was very low. We will definitely be coming back.

Only issue we had was that we were aware our lodge would be small, however the bathroom was never shown in the photos online so we weren’t aware how small the shower would be, may be worth putting a small shelf in as picking items up off the floor was challenging in the space.Despite this we were very happy with our stay and would highly recommend to others.

Lovely 4 night stay for two of us and our dog. The beach house had everything we needed and was comfortable and clean. We were lucky to have a partial sea view to the cove of Hele Bay. Great location for Woolacombe beach walks and other beaches.Would definitely stay here again.

Absolutely fantastic views of the beach and out to sea. There’s always someone on the beach or swimming in the sea, even in October. Clean and well equipped.

We had a lovely stay at the Beach Cove Coastal Retreat. We did have an issue initially as the photos for the chalet we had booked didn’t match the chalet we were given, however the lady on reception was lovely and able to help with this. We have reported the issue to Hoseasons and they were going to rectify this so that the photos more accurately reflect what you are getting, particularly in terms of the view but do be careful with this as sea views aren’t guaranteed. There were a couple of small things missed in terms of cleaning and we also were only given one toilet roll but overall it was a great relaxing break.

Had issues with the shower door and extractor fan, but was resolved quickly.

The Pad was very spacious, all rooms were good sizes, a nice view of the sea from the lounge, although a wall did prevent a view of beach. The oven and freezer could have been cleaner and it would have helped to have a broom, only a dust pan and brush. Hot tub was good. Overall it was very pleasant stay.

We loved Beachcove. We loved the view from our cabin. Our cabin was cute and spotlessly clean and staff were very friendly. It's our new favourite holiday place.

Just fantastic great place great location, Lovely Beach hut with amazing views of the Bay . A lovely decked area with seating fantastic views once again & an amazing lovely warm hot tub . The Staff so friendly & helpful they do an amazing job . Thanks to them we had a lovely holiday & have booked again to go next year . ????

Could maybe do with a little bit of a update somethings where a little worn

A very relaxing and peaceful break away Lovely coastal walks Just a short walk to the Hele Bay bar and restaurant nice friendly staff great garden seating Ilfracombe is just a few minutes drive or or a 30 minute walk via the road Highly recommend the Lime kiln restaurant had the best mussels ever fabulous food and service

All very clean and everything we needed was in the cabin. The bed very comfortable and the sound of the waves crashing against the shore was a great soundtrack to sleep. We were less than a minute from the beach entrance. Perfect.

Too small for us, no dining facility

Clean, tidy and immaculate throughout. Well laid out and everything you need at the apartment.Stunning views of the beach from the both the living room and the bedroom.

A beautiful location and good check in experience. The lodge was very clean but it was very tired and well used. The electric fire in the lounge didn't work and neither did the extractor fan in the bathroom. The bathroom drawers were all messed up and the coating peeling off and the mirror had gone rusty at the bottom. The parking is very tight, not really enough spaces and some of those very difficult to access. It was not very relaxing watching people narrowly missing other cars whilst trying to park and also worrying if there would be a decent space for us each time we returned from a trip out. Having said all this we would go again for the location alone but I guess that's what Darwin escapes are relying upon?

Our holiday home had a fantastic view from deck hot tub was great inside was super clean yes a few places you could say tired in need of a freshen up but did not spoil the place staff fantastic great time had and going back soon Thanks for a great time

Very small accommodation, looks bigger on the pictures also if u have dogs be aware terrace is not secure so we had to block it off with what we could which was a pain ,, apart from that lovely and quiet nice dog friendly beach on your door step , views are amazing , nice little village x

Spent 3 days in the beach cove Seaview cabin and found it was beautiful views across the bay. Location was laid back, peaceful retreat. Great place for a chill out. My wife and I can't wait to get back there.

Lovely setting with sea views directly above the beach. Comfortable large bed in superior sea view room. Good shower and kitchen facilities. Hot tub was great and checked daily. Close to local facilities. Improvements: WiFi patchy and TV tuning settings locked with very few channels available on free view. Overall we loved it and will be back!

Excellent location compact cabin but had everything needed great sea views and bonus of a hot tub will definitely be returning slept well very relaxing hearing only the waves lapping

We had a brilliant time! It was in a perfect location with the pub basically next door. It was a very short stroll down to the closest beach and we could see the sea from the hot tub. It was approximately 1.5 miles into the centre of Ilfracombe, so that was very convenient for a more vibrant day out too. Adorable thatched roof pub on the way to Ilfracombe there too! ? some fab restaurants/takeaways nearby. Shoutout to Hele’s Kitchen who gave us a free cake!
