Visitor Reviews of Kenegie Manor

Date of stay: 29th October 2024
Excellent value for money. Had issues with the hot water and temperature of the shower. I'm sure they would have fixed it but we were out and about and didn't get time to report it. We didn't have a car but found using public transport fine. There's a public footpath down into Penzance opposite the main gate which meant a pheasant walk to the station and bus station.

Lovely and warm bungalow. Not super spacious but good for a couple .The unit could do with 1 simple change and that would be to remove the round dining table as where this was situated was difficult to negotiate due to where it was sited. The owners of our unit had also changed the double room around and left about a 6" gap between the bed and wardrobe (access to get into bed) . But barring just those 2 silly little things the unit was comfortable and had everything you need for a break away

The rating would be 4.5 but that is not a possible rating. Well-maintained village, quiet, clean. The house is the same, with a rather spacious living room, kitchen. Some furniture is faded, there is a lack of dishes (intended for 6, maximum 4 in dishes) and no towels : I was not warned. Good bedding, very clean and comfortable, too bad the bed for a couple is 130 instead of 140.The staff is dynamic, helpful, kind, very friendly. the stay was pleasant, With the excellent value for money. I recommand

Ok for 2-3 day break which we did with our 2 6year old grandchildren. Not a lot to do on site. Bar and restaurant very good. Food excellent and good value. We had a Silver cottage which had good facilities but needs some TLC , carpet grubby and stained. Sides of bed base tatty however nice clean bed linen. Kitchen well equipped. Staff very friendly and helpful Enjoyable stay overall

Good place to stay, although very outdated and has alot of potential if given a proper refurb, little things like the iron poured out with water when tipped at a certain angle getting my clothes wet, also when we got there none of the washing up was actually clean, we had to redo anything we used, and the oven had a tray in there which had been used and not even washed which still had crumbs and grease on when we got there, but other then that it was very nice.

Hi Where I should start ??! Front of the Silver Cottage external door lots of cigarettes on slabs don’t even bother to brush and we are not smoking in family so is very unpleasant!!! Around the house outside lots spider webs, chairs to be used outside to sit broken and what is unbroken dirt of. Some windows not even open properly and lock handle not working just stuck. When you open velux windows dirty inside spider webs dust, leafs what been left for ages again why ???? Wardrobe what should be used to keep clothes are stinky mould moisture so we left clothes in suitcases. And plus more. Not prepared for guests at all. Very poor experience. First and last time a same park.

Holiday as ok. The restaurant had no chef for 6 out of the 7 nights we were there so No food served. The one night food was served it was only pizza no other options. Really disappointed that we either had to eat in or travel out. Food is a huge part of someone’s holiday and having to worry where to go made it miserable. The staff that were there were very friendly and welcoming

Was lovely place and we are going back next year . Only things to let it was booking a cottage but then been given a house I book a cottage to stay in a cottage. Shana was out off use and washing machine was a bit on the high side to use . But over all would recommend staff was lovely and great with my little boy .

Claire
Beautiful and peaceful location. Very tranquil. Would definitely come again with the children. Perfect for mine ages between 12-16
Dawn
Stayed here for couple of days for a family wedding at Tremenheere Gardens. Didn't really use the facilities l, but the bungalow was clean and tidy, and fulfilled our needs. The site is well set out and very quiet. Proximity to Penzance a bonus, but like others have said you definitely need a car to make the most of the surrounding area.
Richard
Perfect base for our holiday. Lovely park with good amenities. We will always recommend to friends and family. Good comfortable accommodation.
David
Cheap and cheerful bungalow was a bit dated and tired but was ideal. Great grounds and great location would definitely recommend to anyone wanting a basic base to explore Cornwall from.
