Emma Collins
Date of stay: 22nd March 2025
We’ve been here three times now and already booked again for later this year. We really enjoy it - especially staying in a lodge that’s dog-free, which makes a big difference for us. We like it here!
Emily Carter
Date of stay: 10th March 2025
Really disappointed with the work done. The extractor fan's still broken, thermostats in both bathrooms aren’t functioning and the family toilet won’t flush properly. Not impressed at all.
Ben Turner
Date of stay: 22nd January 2025
Really good lodge, even if it’s a bit dated now.
Alex Harper
Date of stay: 16th November 2024
We really enjoyed our stay here again. It’s a lovely spot for a quick getaway or holiday, even if it’s a bit pricier than some others. We’ve been before and definitely plan to come back soon. Always a good choice!

Date of stay: 9th September 2024
We had a fantastic family trip! The place was really lovely and filled with great moments. The only downside was the pirate ship play area being closed, which was a bit disappointing. Still, we’ll definitely be back!

Date of stay: 5th August 2024
The place is lovely, but no Wi-Fi was a big letdown.
Emma W.
Date of stay: 21st July 2024
Honestly, we were pretty disappointed with the place. It was filthy, with mould all over, especially in the tiny bathroom, which really needed a proper clean. The curtains, sofas and carpets were stained and the safety rails on the decking were loose - quite dangerous. There were holes in the carpets and blocked sinks in both bathrooms. The dining table had exposed screws and the sofas had sharp metal supports sticking out. We also found ant nests in the main bathroom, coming out of broken silicone and a damaged bath panel. The washing machine was dodgy and the shower kept leaking all night. Not what we expected at all!
Emily Carter
Date of stay: 23rd June 2024
Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. The accommodation was spot on, no complaints there. The facilities are great for kids, which is a big plus. That said, a few children weren’t exactly supervised and were running around, kicking balls and throwing things that sometimes landed on other guests’ roofs. We did see a kid throwing something into someone else's property, which was a bit off. The breakfast timing was a little odd - their all-day option starting at noon, but we’d still come back for sure. Definitely a nice place!
Emma
Date of stay: 10th June 2024
The Atlantic View Lodge really impressed us. The views of the sea are breathtaking and the gardens are beautifully maintained. Our room was spacious, modern and had everything we needed. The kitchen was well stocked and the lounge and bedrooms felt like a home away from home. Definitely top-notch!
Emma Carter
Date of stay: 27th March 2024
Great value for money! Perfect for two couples and kids, especially with the handy en suite and extra bathroom. Would stay again.
Emma Carter
Date of stay: 14th February 2024
The lodge was decent for the price, though it looked like it hadn’t been used in ages. Wi-Fi was pretty much useless despite reporting it; reception and maintenance said they’d sort it but never did. Would’ve been handy, especially since the phone signal’s rubbish around here.
Emily Carter
Date of stay: 8th February 2024
It’s a bit disappointing really. The fridge door’s suction isn’t great, so we constantly had to check it’s shut. Plus, a coaster was missing from a chair-made it wobble badly.
Michael, Birmingham
Date of stay: 31st August 2020
The staff really went above and beyond, especially considering the tricky times we're in. The lodge itself was spot on, couldn't fault it at all!
Jamie, Somerset
Date of stay: 31st August 2020
We had a really lovely stay! The flat was spotless when we got there, which was great. It’s pretty spacious too, especially for the six of us. The decor was modern and it felt really fresh and clean. The view of the bay was stunning-definitely a highlight. The staff were warm and welcoming, making us feel right at home. The walk to the bay took about 15-20 mins, but heads up, it’s quite a steep hill on the way back up to the park, so be prepared for that. Honestly, the place looked even better in person than in the photos, which isn’t always the case. All in all, we had a fantastic time. Thanks for a lovely holiday!
Emma, Stoke On Trent
Date of stay: 28th August 2020
Great stay! The place was spotless, super modern and really comfy too.
James, Leighton Buzzard
Date of stay: 22nd August 2020
Even with everything going on with COVID, we had a cracking time. The location was perfect, tucked away at the tip of the country, with stunning views. Sunshine and scenery made it all worth it, honestly!
Emma, Rotherham
Date of stay: 22nd August 2020
We missed some of the furnishings and hadn’t visited the restaurant due to Covid restrictions.
Emma, Shropshire
Date of stay: 22nd August 2020
We had such a lovely holiday! The park was spotless and well-maintained, which made everything so nice. Our caravan was modern and really clean, very comfortable. The kids couldn’t get enough of the pirate ship play area and the swimming pool was perfect - warm and inviting. It’s definitely a place we’d return to. Highly recommend!
Alex Turner, Gb
Date of stay: 21st August 2020
We really enjoyed our stay. The caravan was spotless and comfortable. A few more hooks would be handy and making the outdoor area a bit more inviting would be great!

Emma, Wolverhampton
Date of stay: 10th August 2020
Overall, we found the place really spacious for our family, which was great. Most of the essentials like appliances were there, though a few things, probably due to Covid, were missing-like oven gloves and a brush for cleaning. We had a tea towel, but it would’ve been handy to have the others. Still, it was a decent stay!
Emma, Birmingham
Date of stay: 10th August 2020
Our stay at Sandymouth was really lovely. The site is small but perfectly kept and everything we needed was there. The kids had a great time and we did too. Thanks for a cracking holiday!
David
Very pleased with my experience but not very happy with going two days with out water we could not shower or use the toilet had to go into town to use the toilet and buy bottles of water
Gina
Really lovely quiet park, no big parties or groups, just families. Indoor pool looked like it got very busy but we were lucky in the afternoon and it was just nice. Little disco for kids, bingo, never stayed for adults entertainment so cannot comment on it. Food in restaurant a little pricey but great portions. Shop could be bigger is my only negative but lots of supermarkets and shops locally Situation is gorgeous, we had a beautiful sea view. Own balcony. Caravan was spotless, comfy, plenty of room and resources for 4 adults and 2 children. Beds comfy. Nice touch with welcome pack. Would definitely return with older children as well.
Lucy
Fab stay at sandymouth perfect location to explore Cornwall and Devon. Lovely national trust beach just a 15 minute walk from site although it is a steep walk my 10 year old walked it everyday! Enjoyed a lovely breakfast at sandymouth beach cafe after a morning coastal path walk! Lovely site, beautiful area, very much enjoyed our stay. Used the pool on site a few times and my son loved the pirate ship play park and adventure trail! Visited bude sea pool and the monster slip and slide whilst in the area a 15 minute drive away from bude where there were lots of shops and Morrisons fuel station I found to be the closest!
Jen
Such a lovely campsite. The little touches like a welcoming soft drink, tea and coffee in the caravan, washing up stuff and the keep sake key tin & duck. The amost amazing views from the site with the sheep and cows in the field near by. Not to far from bude which is also stunning. On site pool and pirate ship were also amazing. Can’t wait to go back.
Jan
Just had a wonderful 5 days at Sandymouth. We loved the size (not too big or busy) of the park, so clean with amazing sea views. 20 minute walk down to a beautiful beach with a lovely cafe. Beautiful 4 mile walk over cliffs to Bude one way & same distance to a great pub the other direction. We enjoyed the bar & entertainment but didn't eat there or use the pool. All the staff were very welcoming too.
Kye
Lovely holiday park with stunning views. We stayed in a Tintagel Beach Shack and it was the best view we have ever had from an accommodation on holiday - simply stunning. Would highly recommend this holiday park and we look forward to returning.
Katie
We had a lovely holiday at Sandymouth,we had a few problems with our caravan but everytime we phoned to report problems they arrived seconds later to fix it,so I cant fault them at all our caravan just needed a bit of tlc as it didnt feel as good as it could have been,I would not choose that type of caravan again but it didn't ruin our holiday and we weren't in there long for it to bother us to much, the site was beautiful and well kept and the beach wasn't to far away,we did walk it one day. There was so much to do in the area for familys and only a short drive to explore different places.
Tracy
This was our third visit. Lovely as always
Ilze
Highly recommend
Mark
Beautiful site. Not suitable for people who have disabilities or struggle with hills. Get too the local beach early as gets busy(not walking distance) parking charge.very helpful and friendly staff. Stayed in dog friendly accommodation nice caravan, but not very clean. Floors need a good scrub and in general a better clean. Young kids cleaning them that probably can't clean there own bedrooms.
