Set within 11 acres of grounds of Wyberton House, the properties take their name from the site’s original use, a Woad Farm, with worker’s cottages and a Mill.

These larch-clad lodges are furnished with comfort and quality in mind.

All the lodges offer a superb base for touring or a relaxing break in the peace and quiet of the countryside.

Locally there are seaside beaches, RSPB marshland reserves such as Frampton Marsh and Freiston Shore, the Lincolnshire Wolds - an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, the stunning cathedral city of Lincoln, market towns, and historic Boston.

A pub bistro can be found ½ mile away.

We allow fishing but only with sweetcorn, worms or maggots no boilies, pellets, ground baits or feeds of any kind, we have Grass Carp, Tench, Roach and Koi up to about 8-10 lbs.

We operate a catch-and-release policy with no barbed hooks and guests are only allowed to fish at the side of their cabin or from the deck so that they don’t intrude on other guest’s privacy

New favourite lodge location. We’ve been looking for somewhere bougie to take the doggos and have never found the right place until now. Not even kidding when we say we didn’t want to come home! ???? STUNNING location, beautifully maintained with thoughtful extra details that make all the difference. The only super minor inconvenience was that we didn’t have any scissors, which thinking may have just been an oversight. Already planning on when to go back, so so pleased we found this place!

A lovely peaceful area, the lodges are situated around a lake and look out over it. They are very well-appointed inside, and looking out over the lake from the front room is very relaxing, either in the morning or at night. The resident black swans were very friendly. The lodge was very dog friendly, and the complimentary gifts of wine, local eggs, cake and biscuits were very much appreciated. I intend to come and stay again.

Had a lovely weekend in the Muntjak lodge. We didn't have the best weather but the lodge was lovely and it was so peaceful with the views over the lake. The walk to the lodge from the car was not too long and the trolley was a nice touch so as not to have to do multiple trips to the car but it was difficult to drag across the gravel paths.The welcome hamper for both ourselves and the dog was a nice touch and she loved them. We did struggle with the dog proofing around the property as she is only a small dog so could fit underneath the lowest wire so we needed to keep her on her lead when on the decking areas.Otherwise we had a lovely time and will definitely be back.

The accommodation was immaculate, and would have been almost perfect except for the “dog proofing” on the terrace.We have a Chihuahua and a French Bulldog. The dog proofing was fine for the frenchie, however unfortunately was not good enough to stop the Chihuahua from escaping, fortunately he was quickly caught. He is large for a Chihuahua, and so I feel that many small dogs would be able to escape. This meant that in order to let him out on the terrace we had to put on his lead and harness, which was not ideal. Also this lodge went into the shade much more quickly than the other lodges, meaning time in the sunlight was limited. These are the reasons for the average score for facilities

We have been to lots of lodges and this beats them all! Beautiful surroundings with swans and a lovely field to walk your dog in. They’ve been really clever and made almost avenues with trees so it felt like you were in a park, not a field. The lodge itself is beautifully designed with stylish but comfortable furniture. The kitchen has everything from a ninja air fryer to a nutribullet! Everything was so clean too. On the last day we saw the hot tub man empty and literally hoover out the hot tub. This gives so much reassurance for the cleanliness of it. The decking is fab and we made full use of it. Welcome packs for humans and dogs were fantastic. You can get Deliveroo etc delivered easily as well. And one more thing - the people are amazing. We had a family issue completely unrelated to the lodge and they bent over backwards to help us. We really appreciated it. I’m definitely booking for next year!

Great accommodation has everything you need and more, perfectly clean and the welcome hamper is a lovely touch.only downside is the fact that the lodges opposite leave you both looking over on each other’s, and hot tub wasn’t very private, but as long as you respect each other’s privacy then it’s okay.Would highly recommended this for the perfect getaway from your stresses. Had a feel of high end luxury ????????.

We really enjoyed our stay. The accommodation was beautiful inside and the views out of all the windows were stunning. It had everything we needed for a home away from home escape and it is dog friendly so our pooch had a fab time too. It was a very relaxing break and good base to explore the area and have a day trip up to Lincoln as well.

Quiet luxury. Quite luxurious. A fantastic get-away destination and retreat from the stresses and strains of life. The lodges are highly appointed, thoroughly modern, immaculately clean and tidy and the grounds are picturesque and very well maintained. Had the most wonderful time in a stunning lodge. A welcome hamper on arrival was a lovely touch. The surroundings and hot tub everything was perfect. The only small downside is there wasn’t a bbq or washer/dryer as advertised. Not a great deal but when you’ve brought bbq food deliberately and we were muddy after a long walk they would have been helpful. Loved the black swans!

Amazing stay at the honey bee. Everything you could ask for. The lodge itself is luxury and would definitely stay here again. Shops 5-10 min drive away if you do need to pop out and get anything.

The lodge is ment to be high spec which it is but somethings are pointless the washing machine dishwasher and wine cooler but then there’s just a small fridge with just a cool box freezer I prefer to hand wash dishes and there’s not much when there’s only 2 of u your there Monday-Friday or Friday-Monday a washing machine isn’t really needed the finish on the stairs I noticed isn’t really finished to a high spec with cracks etc through out. Bathroom is lovely but the shower sprays everywhere and makes the floors super slippery same with outside the hottub steps move and slip over the decking so be careful getting in and out
