Visitor Reviews of Towervans Caravan Park

Date of stay: 10th September 2024
We stayed in this caravan recently and really liked it. It’s super clean and the layout is well thought out. The lounge is comfy and spacious and the double bedroom with its dressing area, toilet and sink was perfect. The decking outside with a table and chairs was a nice touch. Only thing missing was a small table in the lounge for drinks, but overall, a cracking choice!

Good enough for a quick weekend stay, though the site was a bit too quiet for us.

We stayed at this caravan and found it a bit lacking in comfort. The double bedroom really needs bedside lamps since we like to read in bed. The lounge lights were far too bright for watching TV, which was a bit annoying. Some wine glasses would’ve been nice and we had to ask for more hangers - only three and one was broken. Still, it wasn’t terrible!

Really enjoyed our stay! The caravan was spotless and modern, with comfy beds and a spacious bathroom. The patio outside was a lovely touch and parking right outside was handy. Absolutely loved it!

The caravan was a bit older than others we've stayed in here, but it was spotless and looked after really well. Nice stay overall!

The caravan was fantastic value and just right for three of us. It might be a tad small for a family with kids, but it suited our needs perfectly. We’d stay again!

We had a pretty nice stay overall. The van was straightforward, nothing fancy but kept tidy and comfy enough for our needs. The location worked well for us since it’s a short walk to the beach and the town centre, which was handy. We didn’t bother with the bar or restaurant on site, so I can’t really comment on those. Check-in and check-out were a breeze - super quick and simple, which we appreciated. The staff were genuinely lovely and friendly - really made us feel welcome. The only real downside was the transport outside the site. We hoped to explore Skegness and other nearby towns more, but the bus service was pretty limited - only once an hour and stopping around 6 pm. It’s a bit of a trek to Skegness, like an hour and fifteen minutes each way. If you’re planning to stay mostly around Mablethorpe, a car might be a smarter choice than relying on buses.

We had lovely weather in September, which really made our trip enjoyable and relaxing. Our past visits to Lincolnshire meant staying near the beach and that’s definitely something we’d want again if we go back next year. Overall, a great experience with just the right vibe!

Was a great site, lovely and clean, Tavern bar very good and reasonable prices, lady who booked us in was a joy.,she let us in early and was truly helpful. To the reviewers who say you can't walk on the grass, you are totally mistaken.
Stephen
This is a well run site. Staff are seen all over the site.it even has its own security! staff are helpful and friendly site is clean and tidy so is the van. This was a great holiday and great value for money we will book again.
Linda
The caravan we stayed in (W20) was extremely clean. Equipped with enough cooking utensils, pots and pans to cook meals. The site is well maintained and all staff we spoke to were all polite, friendly and helpful. We did not use the onsite Tavern as dogs are not allowed inside. There is a seating area outside which we used once for a drink only. One disappointment was the small fishing lake, there were only small fish. My husband was looking forward to catching much bigger fish. On the whole I would certainly recommend this site.
