Just stayed here for the 3rd time. Me and my partner just love to come chill and unwind. We don’t go out as we both enjoy cooking and the well equipped kitchen in the lodge are perfect. On this occasion we noticed there was a couple of things missing but after letting reception staff know we had a brand new full set of utensils delivered to the door. The hot tub is the perfect way to unwind. The big bonus at this time of year is that there are some lodges with undercover tubs so regardless of the weather you can still enjoy a relaxing dip with your favourite tipple. . Can’t wait to book our next visit.

This was out second visit and last. The lodge was dirty, mould on the ceiling, kettle full of limescale, just felt generally unkept. The lights in the hot tub did not work. Whilst we reported this, not all items were sorted and we left on Thursday.

Our initial impression of the lodge upon arrival was good. However, the following morning we discovered spilled sugar in a cupboard that hadn't been cleaned. The oven only had one rack in it, what looked like a grill pan with no rack in it either, this was covered in grease and burnt food. One of the breakfast bar stools had a big rip in it. The ashtray on the outside table hadn't been emptied and really smelled. We went to inform the staff in the lodge reception who quite frankly couldn't have cared less and just told me "it had been noted". Nothing was ever done about it during our stay. The following morning I used the en-suite shower only to find that water was spraying badly from a joint in the shower head. When I got out the floor was covered in water which I had to clean up. A couple of doors are stiff and a light fitting in the bathroom is loose. No plants on the decking area as shown in the photo's, this seems to be the only lodge that doesn't have a gazebo or plants on it. Overall very disappointing stay, will not be returning.

This was just a quiet get away to switch off and quality time with my partner to relax after a turbulent year and whirlwind of st3 bowel cancer. We have never stayed at Laceby before and wasn’t sure what to expect. Surrounding villages are small and difficult to find nice places for lunch etc but you have everything at Laceby. We stayed in a beautiful couples lodge at west park. It was so quiet, peaceful. The lodge had absolutely everything, comfort and like home from home. Nice big 65” television, comfy sofas, everything we needed....all we bought was food and drinks. We had a nice private hot tub and as the weather picked up we was able to have breakfast lunch and dinner outside. Perfect. It was very clean and spacious and very modern inside. There was some confusion to find the oak room at first. We observed quite a few people make the same error. The reception staff was lovely. Very nice spa, and peaceful golf course. The only criticism we have is the drop off at location D to get to my lodge, only enough room for literally one car to turn and that’s difficult when someone parks a white van there? For the chilly evenings we bought some blankets and citronella candles. It was our anniversary and will definitely be looking to book again this year! Beautiful lodges on a lovely park and beautiful location.

Lodge was beautiful, spotlessly clean and tidy. Great set up and private hot tub. Washer dryer came in handy every day for cozzies! Beds comfy, plenty of towels and toilet rolls. Little extras were well thought out. Decor was fab, very nice and everything looked new and not scruffy at all. My fave part was the light up tree which I thought was gorgeous. Bed comfy, sofas plenty of room for chilling, massive tv with sky on! WiFi was great once we managed to connect. Dishwasher and washer dryer in kitchen was great. Bathrooms huge and spacious. Everything was so clean, they do a really good job with the cleaning and maintenance. There was a vacuum available which I used on the last day to get the most of the crumbs etc up. When stripping the bed there was a few marks on the mattress cover BUT these were old marks and as the cover had clearly been washed it wasn’t an issue but maybe something that needs replacing as doesn’t match the clean feel of the rest of the lodge. I liked being able to just get to the lodge without having to go to reception and check in, it is a good way of arriving as you feel you can just get straight on with your holiday. They have a brilliant place here we really loved it and can’t wait to come back again.

The lodge was absolutely stunning - one of the best we’ve ever stayed in! It has everything you need to cook and is full of luxury touches.

Date of stay: 14th April 2024
The sink plug in the en-suite wouldn’t stay down so had to keep the water running. Also, the TV which was on the wall at the foot of the bed, meant you had to lean away from it when walking past, otherwise you would hit your head on it. Which I often did. Also, the bedside light, although attractive, offered no brightness and were impossible to read by. I would change them.

Lovely cosy, mid week break in a Modern lodge in a quiet location, finished to a high standard with comfortable, good quality furnishings and well equipped kitchen. We were even able to make use of the patio furniture in the warm spring Sunshine and enjoyed our first outdoor cuppa of the year.

My family and I booked short break to stay in the six sleeping cabin Marrakesh. The large is beautiful. It is large and with all the facilities that you would need. The beds are super comfy and the hot tub is amazing. We really enjoyed the tranquil surroundings that the large sits in and just been able to totally relax for the time that we were staying, we would highly recommend this lodge and the resort and look forward to returning soon.

It was a beautiful lodge with beautiful fittings. Unfortunately the Jacuzzi was very scaly. The maintenance man did come and clean it all out and did explain they have an issue with the water at the moment. Unfortunately, still scaly after using the Jacuzzi, but they did try their best to sort the problem.

Great accomodation, clean and spacious Reception always ready to help .Once criticism if any is that restaurant staff seem to be all about the spa people , was totally empty but said sorry can’t eat in here as it’s for spa guests only at this time? Found that odd would have understood a little if it was packed but not a soul in . Stayed here many times and will continue to do so .

Cabins are beautiful with lovely views, however somewhat overlooked by the golfers. But it is on a golf site, so to be expected. Beds are really comfortable. We had fun with the sliding doors between the bedroom and bathroom. Great touch having the door out to the hot tub through the bathroom. No traipsing through the cabin causing wet floors. Kitchen had all the expected amenities to allow you to cook full meals, if needed. The separate drinks fridge and full freezer is always a bonus.
Alaeddin
Overall, wasn't bad, very clean and organized. I had 3 amazing nights. The only issue was the hot tub. Wasn't very clean. Recommended.
Adam
We enjoyed our stay and would go again

Fantastic lodge.. Will be booking again very soon. Staff were really helpful
Kate
Lovely quiet location, about 5 mins drive from supermarket. Great setting overlooking the golf course
Jim
Peaceful and very relaxing.
Array
Fantastic site and lodge was great had everything we needed. Would definitely recommend it to others. Just wee thing for the site maybe needs a small park area for children just to give them something to do but apart from that nice site and walks to do and went to restaurant onsite and highly recommend
John
Great location
Dale
The lodge was lovely, spotless, located and equipped to perfection.
Kathleen
I can't really comment on staff as we didn't see anyone, apart from the guy in the bar. The bar closed at 6 on the Monday we arrived, the restaurant was closed & only opened till 4 or 6 on the remaining 3 days we were there. As it's a golf resort we were expecting the restaurant & bar to be open later to cater for the golfers. We found some lovely pubs & cafes in/on the way to Waltham though. Lodge was beautiful & the setting is very quiet. Had a very relaxing stay.
Michael
Wonderful setting, amazing lodges with top quality furniture and fittings.
Robert
Amazing surroundings, restaurants excellent, I don't play golf but the courses looked really well kept.
