Date of stay: 23rd February 2025
We just came back from a 4 night stay in a pet lodge. The lodge was immaculate, no smell of dog, lots of extras we didn’t expect like dog blankets and bowls. The enclosed garden area makes it perfect for dogs and children. Hot tub was fantastic, I do think it would benefit from an overhead cover. The beds were comfy, the kitchen had everything you could possibly need. Laceby is such a hidden gem, we have returned every year since we found it and we will be back again.

Just stayed here for the 3rd time. Me and my partner just love to come chill and unwind. We don’t go out as we both enjoy cooking and the well equipped kitchen in the lodge are perfect. On this occasion we noticed there was a couple of things missing but after letting reception staff know we had a brand new full set of utensils delivered to the door. The hot tub is the perfect way to unwind. The big bonus at this time of year is that there are some lodges with undercover tubs so regardless of the weather you can still enjoy a relaxing dip with your favourite tipple. . Can’t wait to book our next visit.

Our lodge was absolutely beautiful inside and out! We took our 1 year old dog and the garden was fully enclosed so we could let her out with no worries that she would get out at all. My partner loved the free round of golf included. The area around Laceby was beautiful to have a walk and only a short 20 minute car journey to Cleethorpes beach. We would absolutely come back again!

Date of stay: 22nd September 2024
We stayed in "The Luxury Hideaway" lodge (No: 50 on the Laceby site map). We were super impressed with quality of the lodge. It definitely had the "wow" factor. Everything appeared brand new, you would never have known that someone had stayed in it before we had. It was spotlessly clean. The soft furnishings and fixtures were really tasteful and stylish and everything was finished to a very high standard - the lodge wants for nothing. The super-king size beds were great, very comfortable and we slept like babies. The en-suite walk-in showers were a nice touch.Even though the lodges where we stayed are situated quite close to each other, they are slightly offset so no other lodge is looking on to the other, so protecting your privacy. The hot tub is at the back of the lodge, and is sunk into the floor. It has a metal gazebo cover over it with sides that you can pull down to increase the privacy, if needed. We had a minor issue as one of the sides would not attach - we reported this to one of the staff and within less that 10 minutes, someone was around to completely fix the issue. The area was also so quiet and peaceful, you get amazing quality sleep. The grounds staff could be seen working through the day to keep the driveways and gardens in immaculate condition, the staff that we encountered were all friendly and helpful. The Luxury Hideaway was fantastic - all of the photos you see advertised for it are exactly as seen. There were no shabby areas or scuff marks in the lodge, everything was in pristine condition. We would definitely recommend Laceby Manor to anyone, but not our lodge - as we want to keep this just for ourselves hahaha!! We will most definitely be back next year!Laceby Manor is very close to a large supermarket and not too far a drive from the coastline.

The lodge is beautiful very private too. Hot tub is wonderful not sure about the sauna though. My only criticism would be, I think you need a canopy over the hot tub as the English weather is not always predictable.

The lodge was fantastic and very clean. It has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms (one being a en-suite).The lodge provided everything you need such as towels, robes, all kitchen utensils, washing machine, dryer and dishwasher. They also provided the washing and dishwasher pods/tablets.If I had to right one negative thing, I would have like a clothes airer to hang washing on as not everything can go in a dryer.Overall, the lodge and resort was fantastic!

After being diagnosed with breast cancer, we as a family needed a break away from home. The family enjoyed the lodge we had (Rocky Ridge) and every day enjoyed the hot tub. I was able to watch them from various locations on the veranda that was well furnished with good quality furniture. The actual lodge itself was a beautiful place and had EVERYTHING you could imagine. The quality of the lodge was top notch. I’d say value for money too. So quiet and relaxing. Just what my family needed. Great base for getting out and about and we enjoyed York, Lincoln, Skegness, Grimsby, Cleethorpes and RAF Coningsby.

This was out second visit and last. The lodge was dirty, mould on the ceiling, kettle full of limescale, just felt generally unkept. The lights in the hot tub did not work. Whilst we reported this, not all items were sorted and we left on Thursday.

The lodge was wonderful, so comfortable and modern. The hot tub was checked daily. Milk in fridge was appreciated along with tea, coffee and sugar. Robes and slippers provided. I think the lodges suit couples wanting a bit if peace and quiet or golfers. Having the dog with us we would have liked a bit .more info on walks in the area. There are really no facilities on site for dog owners. They are allowed in the sports club apparently but it wasn't clear where so we gave up. I would go back again though for a relaxing break

Lovely stay at Laceby manor lodges. We stayed in Moonlight lodge for my birthday, it was gorgeous inside and out and the nice weather helped too! The lodge inside had plenty of facilities, iron, washer/dryer, toaster, kettle, tea/coffee, milk, a wine cooler and there was even a bottle of Prosecco with a happy birthday note. The lodge was clean inside and there were cleaning products to use to keep on top of this, including a vac. The lodge was absolutely red hot, even when keeping the blinds down. We emailed and asked for a fan (alongside the slippers we had paid for but were missing from our room) and someone brought them round by 10.30am with a fan they had managed to find. The fan didn’t make a huge difference, so definitely bring light clothing/sleepwear. The decking could do with a little TLC, I’m not sure how often it is washed/brushed off but there were loads of cobwebs and things stuck in cobwebs all along the decking. There was a lot of dust, leafs and feathers along the corners of the decking and I went round with a dustpan and brush before we could comfortably sit out. There were old bird poo’s engraved into the decking which again I think could have been jet washed a long time prior to us coming. I know this would be additional work for the resort, but the dirty/cobwebbed decking did lower the standard of cleanliness overall. There’s not a great deal to do within walking distance from the lodges. It’s around a 25 min drive to cleethorpes but that wasn’t the best day out. There’s a village a 10 min drive away (Waltham) and we went to the Farm House pub which has a huge beer garden, it was lovely there. It’s a 2hr25 min walk from the lodge so this could have been done if we’d have found it sooner. The club house on site doesn’t have loads of seating and we walked past 3 times over an hour before we could see a free table. Drinks weren’t terribly priced, it was £15 for a small Prosecco and a pint of lager. We didn’t eat at either the clubhouse or the Oak Room, but the pizzas looked nice. We walked into Laceby but there wasn’t a great deal there. We had a lovely chilled weekend, I’m not sure we’d return given how many other lodge resorts there are to try, but this was one of the nicer ones we’ve stayed in. Thank you!

Overall, wasn't bad, very clean and organized. I had 3 amazing nights. The only issue was the hot tub. Wasn't very clean. Recommended.

Fantastic site and lodge was great had everything we needed. Would definitely recommend it to others. Just wee thing for the site maybe needs a small park area for children just to give them something to do but apart from that nice site and walks to do and went to restaurant onsite and highly recommend

I can't really comment on staff as we didn't see anyone, apart from the guy in the bar. The bar closed at 6 on the Monday we arrived, the restaurant was closed & only opened till 4 or 6 on the remaining 3 days we were there. As it's a golf resort we were expecting the restaurant & bar to be open later to cater for the golfers. We found some lovely pubs & cafes in/on the way to Waltham though. Lodge was beautiful & the setting is very quiet. Had a very relaxing stay.

Wonderful setting, amazing lodges with top quality furniture and fittings.

Amazing surroundings, restaurants excellent, I don't play golf but the courses looked really well kept.
