An amazing lodge. Spacious with everything you could want. Everything was immaculately clean and very well presented on arrival. Communication from the time of booking to leaving was excellent During stay met three members of staff who were all very polite and extremely professional at their jobs I would highly recommend Rookery Manor Lodges

Really clean, comfortable & tastefully decorated lodge. Mattresses were quite soft. Would suit some people but I do like a firm mattress.

We had a lovely time. There's nothing at all to do on site. But it's a very nice place to go to just get away from everything. You have brean, weston & Burnham all in 20min drives away. Lots of pubs around to eat. Delivery places like Chinese and Indian deliver to the site also. We had a lovely lodge had everything we needed in it and everything fully working. We will be back again. We have stayed in the lodge and also in the the little bungalows they have here. We prefer the lodge.

Booked a late short break here for my 60th birthday. We carefully picked a lodge that had parking directly alongside it and found the perfect one. The lodge seemed to be fairly new, clean and tidy with everything we needed for our break. The grounds around the lodge were immaculate with outstanding views and the hot tub was fantastic. If we had one criticism it was that the main bedrooms double mattress had sagged badly on the right hand side as you looked at it. Cearly visible even when the beds were made and why it has not been replaced I dont know. That really needs to be addressed urgently but all of the supplied laundry etc was spotless and in general, very well presented. I dont know much about the history of the place as we didnt really see anybody during our stay but it appears that there was once a restaurant, spa facility and many other things available at some point. The site is undergoing some groundworks for new lodges but this didnt affect us in any way. There is a coffee shop/bar but was only open VERY limited hrs and along with the many other unavailable facilities it seems a trick was missed here. If, as or when these can re-opened, in some way then this would really be a great addition as the infrastructure is right there. The sites general location is excellent with beaches at Burnham and Brean just a few miles away and many other places to see and visit such as Cheddar and the Gorge about 1/2 hrs drive. Glastonbury and the Tor again, just a short drive. Currently this site is laid out beautifully and not too big. I hope it stays this way as we have had several lodge stays and this is definately high on our list as one to return to.

Great location site is still having lodges put in but did not cause any inconvenience.Staff very helpful nothing to much trouble. If there is to be more lodges then perhaps a bistro would make it an really nice place with no need to leave the site.

Lovely position, not overlooked. Building work going on. All leisure facilities have gone. Shame as the site is huge. Great hot tub. Decking area not cleaned. Loads of towels. Comfy sofas. Love a TV the bedroom.

The lodge was clean and had a nice view from the back. However, the rest of the grounds were a demolition site. We went with a toddler and dog and were disappointed - there is nowhere nice to walk around close by and no facilities on the grounds. The hot tub was nice but you can hear the M5 just beside the lodge. Would also have appreciated a knock on the door to alert us that the hot tub water is about to be checked - rather than a stranger appearing on the terrace unannounced when we are sat around in next to nothing!

Lovely lodge with everything you need for your holiday. Spotlessly clean and well equipped with a home comfort feel. We did find that if you’re 5’4” or over you were constantly hitting lampshades in twin bedroom and living area, the others were above things so you didn’t get to them. Beds and pillows I know are personal preference, I ended up trying all three and slept in one of the singles as others were just too soft. Outside decking was spacious with patio set and hot tub, a parasol would have been nice for some shade. Noise from M5 was also an issue

The location of this lodge is superb. Right next to the M5 for easy travels, close to beach towns and an excellent location to explore further. On the Sunday we went over to Cardiff! The lodge itself was lovely. A dishwasher and a washing machine we felt spoilt however my only minor point to make here would be to add more helpful items to the kitchen such as scissors. The hot tub was fantastic and it was so nice to have so much greenery around. The owners were absolutely amazing and so helpful before we even arrived. My family can’t wait to come back and we plan to asap.

Lovely place, great location and great facilities. Only slight downside is how light it is in the bedroom in the night and morning so take an eye mask!
John
Had a lovely few days at Rookery Manor lodges. The lodge was finished to a high standard and the hot tub was great. The site was very quiet with no facilities so may not suit families with young children.
Carl
Lovely 5 day break away. Beautiful Location. Very Quiet, Even with the M5 being Nearby.
James
Great place

We loved our stay at Rookery Manor, just the perfect getaway for our 1st doggy family holiday, loads of great sight seeing of the picturesque villages near by, and only a drive away from amenities. And Karen on arrival was very very helpful and lovely. The lodge its self was wonderfully spacious and of a very high specification, also the decking area and area to the side of the lodge was all enclosed so very safe to let Archie our boxer dog run and play around. And the hot tub was an added bonus, we will definitely be coming back. So overall very highly recommended xx
Patricia
Near to Weston super mare, easy to find, very high quality lodge's with everything you need, smart TV with Netflix and prime video not just Freeview. Seating area at the front with a hot tub if you want it. Mi
Maxine
Lovely lodge great surroundings. Lodge really spacious & clean with all that you need. Lovely area for dogs. Brand new holiday park so decking at front of lodge not very private but will be lovely once plants are established. The hotel is closed but the spa is open. Lovely Indian restaurant not far away. When using Sat Nav mine kept trying to use the M5 as it’s close to the holiday park use the A370 for most journeys. Would recommend this holiday park.
Maria
First time visiting this relatively new site, the hotel and restaurant are not there now, although still advertised on google. There is a spa which we did not use. The lodges are set in beautiful surroundings, but the sound of the M5 close by could be annoying for some, but it did not bother me at all. Karen was very helpful and was always available and just a phone call away.
Shannon
Perfect! Absolutely perfect! 10/10
Carole
enjoyed our stay in the lodge. Very well equipped with high end tv's in bedrooms. One small niggle though. A coffee machine was available, but as a trio of tea drinkers we would have appreciated a teapot, milk jug and sugar bowl!!
Caroline
We had a great mini break and couldn’t have asked for better weather for our stay. The accommodation was perfect our only slight complaint would be the matteresses they weren’t very comfortable and you could feel the springs. Even though the site is under renovation you wouldn’t know it. It will be a lovely park once it’s finished and I and miss family would visit again for sure.
Claire
Plum lodge was an amazing location for a midweek break. Ideally located for all the sights we wanted to see. We loved the hot tub but just a small suggestion: as it is at the front of the lodge by the small parking area it might be nicer to have the smoked glass panels on the veranda going completely around the hot tub as it did on the neighbouring lodge. Just provides a bit more privacy from cars entering the car park then the correct picket style panels. Other then that we loved it and looking to book again for next year.
Kate
Wow, everything about the lodge was luxurious. It included absolutely everything needed during our stay. We loved everything about the lodge and the hot tub. With such beautiful surroundings, it was a shame that there wasn't any family friendly walks. As the only way to exit is on a country lane without any pavements, we didn't feel we could walk with young children. We all had such an amazing stay and couldn't fault anything about the lodge and will definitely be booking to stay here again.
Samantha
Lovely and clean! Close to beaches. Loved fresh milk shop in the way in. And hot tube is as great
Jenny
It was a lovely spot for a very relaxed weekend. No where was too far away and we had the added bonus of takeaway deliveries. The lodge had everything you could need and the hot tub was bliss.
