Although the cleanliness of the lodge was ok, there were things that could have been done that weren't. The high cleaning was lacking. There was dust, cobwebs and spiders in multiple areas including bedrooms. The shower trays had mould and mildew where the doors run back and forth and this could have been easily cleaned. Additionally the TV didn't work in the bedroom which the resort team were aware of but couldn't fix. Overall I would definitely come back. The feedback here is what would take it from a 4 star to a 5 for us.

We had an issue with an unidentified scratching noise within boiler cupboard on our last night. We have experienced this on previous stays in the same lodge, which was reported on that occasion. This needs full investigation & resolution. Other minor issues reported to reception on our departure

The Lodge had so many facilities it was a home from home. Really comfortable and well laid out. Nice sided bedrooms and plenty of storage.

Stayed here two years ago, and returned for another stay last week. Considering it's only been two years since we were there previously the lodges are beginning to look a little tired. The shower was full of limescale, and this was off putting. The walk in wardrobe also had a strange smell. Thankfully we could close the door.On the surface every where else wasn't too bad, and looked fairly clean. A few cobwebs. Could do with cushions on sofa. What we considered luxury last time it now fails to make that standard. Good location.

On the whole it was great, just the following points:-skirting boards could do with a dusting down-instructions of which light switch works which light-shower head were too high, couple of us where under 5ft , and struggled to get them down.-master bedroom and family bathrooms showers was too hot, actually quite dangerous and again no instructions of how to use them- which way to turn for cold etc

There were three concerns. First one is the bathrooms which were not user friendly. It took ages to adjust the water warmness and not sure why people still use the two taps controls to adjust the warm water settings. The shower handle got easily too hot to handle and there is no safety rail to get in and out of the tub. Second, the kitchen utensils could be a little bit better. There was no egg or omelette pan which I found a bit unusual of this type of lodges. Last and the most annoying part was the condition of the outdoor dining set. It was full of greenish moss like stuffs and we couldn't them use during our stay.

Before we got there I was actually dreading it incase we got lodge 4 as I had just read some bad reviews before we went and as soon as we got there and he said you've got lodge 4 my heart sank, however when we got in it was ok, the ladies who clean definitely do a good job as it was spotless, it's just some of the fixtures and fittings that need updating, some of them are quite tired looking and worn, things that no amount of cleaning can fix, carpet definitely needs replacing in passage between bedrooms, showers need sealant replacing and rust removed just things like that, when you think people are paying over a £1000 for a week its not a lot to ask but all that said we had a great time and were out on the patio for breakfast and tea, we've stayed in lodges that were far better than this but like i say it was very nice just needs a spruce up

Everything was lovely, but the kitchen could be better equipped, minimal cutlery and crockery provided so it meant the dishwasher was used frequently.

We wanted a quiet, relaxing weekend break & that's exactly what we had.The accomadation had everything you could need for a self catering break. On our arrival there was a welcome pack for our dog with bowls for feeding, a bag of treats & a toy fir her which I thought was a lovely touch. The beds were very comfortable & made up for our arrival. Towels were also included. There were televisions in the lounge & bedrooms & WiFi was excellent. The whole accommodation including furniture was very comfortable. It was great to have a decking area fenced off to be able to let our dog roam freely. The only suggestion I would make is that a gate be installed which would keep dogs & children safe from wandering. (We layed down 2 patio chairs to stop our dog from escaping).Over all a great accomadation!

Bath Mill LR offers lovely lodges in a nice location. Only a short drive into Bath centre. Really appreciated the restaurant/bar on site offering a great outdoor seating area. Staff were lovely, very helpful. We took our dog, which was well provided for.
Jonathan
We had one minor hiccup on the first evening arrived back at lodge and no electricity. The caretaker arrived in five minutes but the repair needed a professional who turned up 15 minutes later who repaired the fault. All done in 45 mins from being given fault fantastic clean retreat. Had a great holiday would recommend five star accommodation and staff.
Kerry
Very easy, lovely lodge and surroundings. Staff very polite and helpful, I failed to find any negatives. Would 100% recomend. Thanks.
Louise
Fantastic location very close to bath. Lovely quiet surroundings for a relaxing holiday. On site pub was very nice but has reduced opening times. Hot tubs would be an additional feature which i feel would make this the perfect break. Will definitely return and recommend.
Bob
This is our 3rd visit to Bath Mill. Management need to pay attention to the performance of their maintenance and inspection staff if they are to achieve the 10 rating that we gave previously. Examples: 1. Wine/drinks cooler not working. 2. Bedroom light not working 3. Ensuite extractor fan turned off 4. Mould on shower surround 5. No cafetiere provided. Previously one was provided and should continue to be the standard at a lodge of this quality and price.
Alison
The lodge was amazing , very roomy for 4 people , the surroundings were lovely , it would have been nice to have a little shop for essentials , eg , milk , bread etc plus a newspaper . Staff were helpful and friendly .
Jeanie
Lovely peaceful holiday
Carol
Great time . Well maintained chalets. Leather suite hot and sticky in heat wave.
Darran
Long weekend min break, well resourced lodge, well maintained and clean. Beautiful park area, immaculately kept with great staff.
