We had such a lovely stay! The place is super cosyand those hedgehog touches really make it special. The hot tub and log burner are fantastic extras. Fingers crossed we get to come back soon-just one thing though, a teapot next time would be great!

We usually look forward to our annual catch-up with friendsand this year was no different. The lodge itself was really nice-spotlessly clean, comfy bedsand the hot tub was a real highlight, especially after a long day. We genuinely enjoyed those facilities. However, the check-in process was a bit confusing; it would’ve helped if there was clearer info beforehand on how to access the place. We weren’t expecting a greeting or anything, but it felt a bit odd just walking in without much guidance. Things took a turn when one morning we were unexpectedly greeted by the hostsand the way they spoke was quite aggressive. It was a real shock, especially since it was a mistake on their part-they assumed we had more guests than we actually did, just because one of us arrived a bit later. The tone and attitude were pretty off-putting and really spoiled the end of our stay. Honestly, it felt like they weren’t too interested in making us feel welcome. It’s a shame because the lodge itself is lovely, but the hosts’ attitude was a big let-down. If they had been more friendly or professional, we might have considered returning, but as it stands, we won’t be coming back. They definitely need some proper customer service training or at least a rethink about how they interact with guests.

We really enjoyed our weekend at Hare Lodge. The place was super clean, spaciousand comfortable - perfect for a relaxing break. Even though it’s on a farm in the countryside, it’s just a quick drive to the coast and Cheddar, which was handy. The hot tub was a lovely bonusand the info pack the owners left with recommendations for pubs and takeaways was really useful. We’d happily stay again!

We had a lovely stay at the lodge. The spa bath was spotlessly clean and really relaxing to use. The location was perfect - nestled in a tidy field, just a short walk from the farmhouse but not too close. The rooms were spacious and nicely decorated, making it feel cosy. If you're after a quiet escape, this place ticks all the boxes. We’d definitely come back!

Date of stay: 11th March 2019
We had an awesome weekend with friends and their dog at this place. The lodge is perfect for 5 or 6 people, especially if you’ve got a pet - plenty of room to unwind by the fire or relax in the hot tub. We loved how close Cheddar Gorge and Weston-super-Mare are; both make for fantastic day trips, only about 20-30 minutes away. The walk through Cheddar Gorge was a highlight, took us around 3 hours at a leisurely pace and offered some stunning views. We also got to enjoy the fire pit and pizza oven - definitely bring some skewers since there’s no grill on top. The pizza oven took a bit to cook after a big fire, but it was a fun addition to our stay. We’d definitely return!

We really enjoyed our stay at this cottage! The little touches, like logs for the fire and milk in the fridge, made it feel so welcoming. The interior’s lovely and well-finishedand honestly, it was great value for what we paid. Would definitely return!

We had such a lovely time staying at Hare Lodge! The lodges are absolutely beautiful and really feel like a home away from home. Everything we needed was there, from the hot tub to the cosy log burner, which made our evenings so relaxing. WiFi was no trouble at all, which was a relief. We were a group of us-my partner, our grown-up daughtersand son-in-law-and everyone loved it. The location is perfect for exploring places like Cheddar Gorge and Wells. We’re already planning to come back in summer and hopefully stay here again!

We recently enjoyed a fantastic weekend here with our family of six - including three adults and three teenagers. Our hosts really went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable, which we truly appreciated. The lodge itself was spotless and super cosy, perfect for an autumn escape. We loved chilling by the fire, soaking in the hot tuband sitting around the outdoor fire pit in the evening. Getting the fire hot enough to use as a pizza oven was a bit tricky, even after some tips from the hosts, but honestly, it wasn’t a big deal since we just used the kitchen oven instead. We did read some reviews about kitchen utensils beforehand, so we brought some of our own, which worked out fine. The setting is so peaceful, nestled on a farmand it was lovely to enjoy the quiet countryside. The welcome pack had some great suggestionsand we had a lovely, windy walk up Crooks Peak before exploring Cheddar. We’d definitely recommend this spot - it really was everything we were hoping for. Just one tiny thing - we think a later check-out time, maybe 11am, would be better, as 10am felt a bit early, but we totally understand the need for cleaning. Thanks again to our lovely hosts!

A lovely, peaceful few days staying at Hare Lodge. Lodge was nice and clean and well equipped. Nestled into the countryside but only a short drive to Wells, Glastonbury etc. Hosts were very friendly and we had a tour of their farm that my son enjoyed. Would definately hope to go back again in the future.

This is our second visit to Little Moorland Farm Lodges, it is remote so you do need a car to get to a pub, shop or takeaway but the lodges have everything you need. It’s well situated for a trip to Cheddar, Weston SuperMare or Clark’s Shopping Village. If you love tranquility this is the place.
Matthew
One of the best lodges I’ve had the pleasure to stay at and the owners are friendly and helpful also highly recommended.
Rowena
We loved it at Little Moorlands. The lodge was perfect for us and the hot tub was great. The owners were available if we needed anything but also didn’t bother us. So many lovely places around. You do need a car because it Is in the middle of nowhere. We definitely recommend.
Sam
Lovely place, well equipped. Lovely staff
Margaret
A beautiful, clean and comfortable lodge. Well equipped and managed by very helpful owners. On hand if you need anything. Would definitely recommend Hedgehog lodge. Set in a lovely, quiet area.
Kathryn
This was a well deserved weekend break for 6 best friends who have weathered working through the NHS covid storm. It was beautifully peaceful with pubs a good 50 minute walk away. Beautifully decorated.
Caroline
Lovely property with hot tub. Really feel away from it all . Just 3 lodges on the farm so peaceful. 15 mins to Cheddar Gorge. Be aware no reliable WiFi so not the place for you if that is important
