Being foster carers we always have a number of children on-tow. Vauxhall Holiday Park has managed to keep them all entertained right from babies to 17yr olds! Well done Vauxhall you make our annual holidays GREAT and we return every year!
Mrs blyth
Went camping with my son, had a fantastic time, the pools are amazing and clean, lovely facilities and always something to do. Brilliant if you want to pop to town as you can catch the bus at the site and back for only few pounds. Lots places to eat and the food is lovely. Evening entertainment brilliant for adults and children. Looking to go for longer next year x

We had been considering going to Vauxhall for a few years as we had had family and friends who had been there and gave it such good reveiws,so we finally decided to give it a go our selves and we're so pleased we did.It was everything we had heard about and more. The kids aged 11 and 7 had things to do from morning till night and were never long going to sleep when they got to bed.We are already planning to go back in 2013.I love this site and my only regret is that we never went years ago.If you are considering this site, consider no longer, book now you wont rtegret it.

The Sandpiper 2 is a lovely spot, perfect for a small group. It’s cosy, well-located, but honestly, six might be pushing it a bit for space.

Very reliable and spacious caravan

The caravan was a bit of a letdown-small, a bit worn out, but surprisingly tidy and cosy. Beds were super comfy, so that was a win!

Overall, we found the caravan quite decent, though it definitely showed signs of wear after a long season. The hole in the wall from the door handle was a bit disappointing. The sofa was marked and there were only four chairs instead of five. We also missed a coffee table, but the kitchen was well equipped and the en-suite was surprisingly spacious. Not bad, but could do with some upkeep.

Comfortable layout, nice bedrooms at each end, we really enjoyed it!

We took our dog along but found there's not much to do with him around. The van was spotless and the location was perfect, though we were disturbed by a loud nearby caravan party. Still, we’re planning to return soon!

This place was honestly the worst I’ve ever been to. Kept my kid away from the main areas to avoid catching something nasty.

We rented a 4 berth caravan but only took the kids, so plenty of space. The beds were really comfy and super clean, which was great. The floor had a few marks, but overall, it was a decent place. Would’ve loved a couple of outdoor chairs though!

We were a bit disappointed with the Swan caravan. The photos and layout promised end doors, but it only had windows there. Felt a bit mis-sold, really. Still, the overall experience was okay, but it could’ve been clearer about the actual setup.

Good stay, but microwave and shower didn’t work initially.

The caravan was pretty nice and compact, but we all kept hitting knees and stubbing toes in the bedrooms. The kitchen was missing a working tin opener and the oven wasn’t functioning properly either. Still, it was decent for the price.

The caravan was decent for a couple, but the wardrobe and drawer space were pretty limited, which was a bit of a pain. The toilet was tiny and sitting sideways was the only option. Not ideal!

We had a fantastic stay at The Sandpiper apartment! Everything we needed was there, beds were super comfy and relaxing on the balcony overlooking the park was a highlight.

The apartment was lovely and comfortable, just a bit of cleaning needed on the windows. A blind at the kitchen window would be a nice touch. Overall, we were quite happy!

We really enjoyed our stay with the grandkids. The caravan was lovely and roomy, with all the essentials we needed. A bit of a bummer about the cleanliness though - the freezer was packed with ice, which was a hassle to clear. Also, the double bed had someone else's hair on the mattress, which we only noticed when stripping the bed. Still, it was a good trip!

Overall, we had a decent stay. The caravan was pretty clean and tidy when we arrived, though the carpet could definitely use a proper scrub. We found the inventory of utensils a bit lacking; it would’ve been handy to have more for meal times. The oven was a bit slow to heat up, which was a slight annoyance. On the plus side, the beds were already made, so we just needed to bring towels-although having the option to rent towels would’ve made things even easier. Also, remember to keep the water running continuously; with four of us, the hot water soon ran out. Still, not too bad!

We've been visiting Yarmouth since we were kids, with family and friends. The town’s a bit tired now, but honestly, it’s what you make of it. Vauxhall’s team are genuinely lovely and super helpful. Always a warm welcome, really! Definitely worth a visit.

The showers were a bit unpredictable-one was either freezing or scalding and the other was too hot or cold. The toilets didn’t flush properly either. We only stayed for two nights out of three. Honestly, wouldn’t return to this place!

Date of stay: 10th April 2024
The place was pretty nice overall, but we did notice some areas that could do with a bit more attention, like the marks on the walls and a few bits of dust. Also, there were two pillows but only one set had cases-just small things that could make a big difference. Still, we had a decent stay!

We all had a great time staying in the swan caravan. The place was spotless and super comfy, especially the mattresses! It would be even better if there was more storage for shoes and coats. Also, we found some cigarette ends outside, which was a bit odd. Still, lovely spot on the site!
