Ideally located for exploring the Norfolk Broads, this wonderful holiday park is tucked away safely and peacefully in the beautiful and picturesque village of Potter Heigham, with its marina, boatyard and shops.

this well-maintained park sits amidst 6 acres of beautiful mature countryside close to the glorious Norfolk coast.

A mixture of refurbished caravans and luxury holiday homes all of which are to a very good standard, you will be able to either completely relax inside of your accommodation and admire the views from here, visit the local pub just 200 yards from the main entrance of the park, go for lovely local walks/use one of the many cycle routes, or you can use this as a base to explore the local area.

Whichever you decide, we are sure you will get exactly what you are looking for at this peaceful, secure, stunning location.

You can also bring your dog on holiday in several of the accommodations Norfolk Broads have to offer, so you don’t have to leave your four-legged friend at home.

Riverside pubs and cafés are plentiful, and a number of Broadland centres offer bike hire or canoe hire (possibly the most delightful way to discover the lovely reed lined waterways and their abundant wildlife) and visitors can also hire boats in Potter Heigham, or take a pleasure cruise from bustling Wroxham – the capital of the Broads and home to the ‘world’s largest village store’, as well as the train station for the Bure Valley narrow gauge steam railway.

Close by, BeWILDerwood, a magical tree top park, promises children a day to remember, and lovely dune backed sandy beaches are a short drive – Sea Palling lies just 6 miles away, Horsey Windpump (National Trust) just 7 miles away, and Winterton-on-Sea just 8 miles away where you can often see the seals!

For lively family fun, Pettitts Adventure Animal Adventure Park is a short drive away in the heart of the stunning Norfolk Broads.

Pettitts has a mixture of fun rides such as the Crazy Caterpillar rollercoaster, Little Explorers balloon ride, Safari Adventure, and the Bouncing Kangaroos.

They also have 30+ different species of exotic and domestic birds, animals, and reptiles to meet, feed and pet!

Great Yarmouth is a few miles away too with its famous pleasure beach, or Pleasurewood Hills theme park, whilst Cromer also offers traditional seaside entertainments, including a renowned end of pier show.

Bygone museums, craft centres and Blickling Hall (National Trust) are all within an easy drive, as is the medieval city of Norwich with its magnificent cathedral, castle, galleries, museums, cinemas, theatres, and excellent shopping.

A little further afield on the North Norfolk Coast, seal watching boat trips can be found at picturesque fishing villages, many of which also boast pubs and restaurants serving superb, locally caught seafood.

Coarse fishing is available on local waters just 400 yards away, and the pretty village of Ludham boasts two pubs and a good range of shops.

Visitor Reviews of Norfolk Broads Country Park

We had a lovely stay, it was quiet and peaceful. The lodge was nice and clean and the beds comfortable. I thought that the lodge needed some TLC, some areas were quite tatty. Eg-the curtain holder was broken off completely in the bedroom and just left in the drawer, there was damage to the side of the bedroom unit, the fridge door didn’t close properly, there was a bottle of cooking oil left in the cupboard, and there was damage to the side of the work top. Also, I feel staff could have been more attentive when we reported that our lodge did not show to connect to the Wi-Fi. We were given a code to use for another lodge and had weak Wi-Fi throughout our entire stay. We also complained about this again. It was only when we were checking the lodge when we were leaving, did we realise the modem was actually in the lodge and switched off. It would have taken nothing for staff to look into this in the first place. Nevertheless, I would recommend the stay as it was a nice break.

Fantastic lodge - beautifully furnished for a family of four. The two toilets really helped. The lounge/ dining area was a great space to socialise. Warns and cozy during cold February. Beds comfy and with plenty of space. Would recommend some more dishes/ serving plates in the kitchen- and egg cups! Aside from this, lovely!

Super lodge. A little smaller than we had expected but it was perfect for the two of us - very cosy. Wouldn't be suitable for 4 adults as the 2nd bedroom is very tiny

Very clean has everything needed, upon booking we thought the balcony had the larger steps but was only a balcony. The entrance has the metal caravan steps which are very shaky. Our elderly dog just couldn't manage them. We got moved to another caravan with the larger steps no spaces. Thank you Tracey.

Couldn't fault this caravan...spotless and felt brand new! Spacious for a family of 3 with well equipped kitchen and WiFi. Best location on the site and even space for two cars when we had visitors. We had an amazing stay and hope to be back.

We had a fabulous time at Norfolk Broads. The Caravan site was quiet and beautifully presented. We chose somewhere that had no amenities so that we were forced to go and explore the different places close by.Lathams massive department store has EVERYTHING you could possibly need from sugar to prosecco and bleach to t-shirts and is literally a 5 minute drive or 15 minute walk. The area has a post office close by attached to a premier shop. The caravan we stayed in was well presented and clean. There weren't towels but bedding was provided. Also ... don't forget tea towel, sponge, washing up liquid etc as these weren't there either but can easily be purchased from Lathams! We did get a welcoming display of Dolce Gusto Pods upon arrival to use in the Coffee Maker! The caravan offered a nice base to come back to at the end of a busy touristy day! The beds were relatively comfortable. We just need to mention that the caravan steps were a tad unstable and our daughter actually fell off them twice whilst there but nothing too major! All in All, we would definitely recommend!!And .. the weather was GLORIOUS

A beautiful caravan/ Lodge very well equipped, always nice to have a dishwasher too, rooms were planned out well and I thought it was very bright with the big windows. I also like the patio doors at the front to let the air in on a lovely sunny and warm day.

The location and park was excellent, the accommodation was very good. The only disappointment was no toilet roll on arrival which I have no problem with if told but I have never been in accommodation which didn’t leave at least one loo roll.
