The pictures of the Lodge are unfortunately very misleading, because they are not recent and the place is dated and in need of refurbishment. The chairs are badly cracked and damaged, there is a hole in the bathroom door and the bedding was completely unacceptable- totally bobbled and really needed to be thrown away. Made even worse that they charge extra specifically for this bedding and it isn't included. The photos make it look lovely and bright and fresh but in reality it is rather tired. It could be so much better with just a bit of work and investment to bring it up to the advertised standard they show in the images. That said, the kitchen was well-equipped (but bring your own soap, washing liquid etc) and the lady on reception/shop was absolutely lovely and so friendly. Sadly, we would not recommend the Lodge as it is, or look to stay again unless it was renovated to match the standard of the photos.

Lovely time was had by the 4 of us but nothing really to do in the camp site but it didn’t bother us we had such a laugh and celebration Christmas it was lovey. **

The place was really lovely and spotless, with a modern vibe. It had all the cooking gear we could ask for, which was great. There’s some traffic noise if you’re on the front, but we were at the back and it didn’t bother us. The outdoor seating was perfect for unwinding!

It was everything we wanted for our weekend away and we loved staying here. We'll definitely be back! Our pups absolutely loved the underfloor heating and had so much fun in the garden. In fact Luna came home with a strained tail and according to the vet it was because she was wagging it so much over the weekend!! Very happy pups and hoomans!

Absolutely loved how well maintained and equipped this cottage is. Plenty of dog walks right on the doorstep. Very friendly host, they were so efficient and communication was excellent. Such a lovely place to stay in a really beautiful, private location. The owners were really friendly and helpful, nearby if needed but without breaking that sense of privacy. The lovely cottage is situated on a working farm, but is very private. The owners, Robert and Sharon, are delightful. The cottage is very spacious with good equipment in the kitchen and the bathroom. Just returned from a lovely weeks stay at Goddards Mead. The cottage is very well equipped with everything you could possibly need. The hosts are very warm and welcoming and despite being on a working farm it felt like a little tranquil haven.

A quiet and basic site. We hired a lodge which was very comfortable, clean and cosy. Bear in mind you are next to the A47, but it didn't bother us as we used the site as a base to explore Norfolk. You could hear the traffic slightly, but it did not impact on our stay. We dealt with the lady (maybe the owner?) who was very friendly and helpful.

We had a lovely stay here for the weekend. The cabin was very clean and modern. All the facilities in the cabin were very very good. There isn't much to do at the site but this is OK for us as we don't use them anyway. The staff were extremely helpful and very friendly. We will definitely return. Thank you.
