Lodge was great, very modern and spacious.Missing a few cushions on the sofa, for a more homely touch and if I was being picky some more cooking equipment in the kitchen.

Nice location but lodges feeling dated with sunken floors in the kitchen area to damaged and extremely well used kitchen units/appliances. Everything is just showing its age and heavy use. Was clean enough but certainly not spotless. Hot Tub was great although the Lodges seem to been a location that attracts hen/stag nights. Its was ok to be honest, but needs some TLC.

We had a really lovely stay and the lodge park is beautiful. It was the relaxing stay we all needed. The only thing I would say, is the lodge itself needed a little bit of TLC. We stayed at this park 6 years ago where everything seemed a lot newer. There were just a few things in the lodge that felt like it needed a little bit of love. However, we had a splendid stay!

Great location fantastic team in the bar and restaurant. Great golf course nice and open. Accommodation however needs detail cleaning and repairs, the lodge it’s self was a good size. An easily fitted the eight of us. As I say the only thing that let this holiday down was the attention to detail in the lodge

Warm and spacious. The kitchen tap was leaky and the cutlery and glasses were a bit smeary after presumably a previous wash but other than that it was pleasant and relaxing

Deluxe lodges perfect in every way, spacious, well equipped with quality furnishings, bedding and towels. Beautiful settings and lodges not overlooked by each other. Staff all VERY helpful and friendly, nothing is too much trouble. The hot tub is checked daily and well maintained. We have stayed in the deluxe lodges three times and have another visit planned shortly.

After previously staying here 4/5 years ago I recommended this place to my friends. However I feel like it wasn’t as nice as previously, the lodge needed a bit tlc there was ripped wallpaper damaged blinds the tv didn’t work the tv unit had a chunk out of the corner the downstairs toilet was temperamental and was noisy (constantly running water gets annoying through the night), the heating was like a sauna had to keep windows open when minus temperature was outside as even though the heating was turned off it didn’t make a difference the patio doors you had to pull into the correct position as you couldn’t close them without a bit of effort. This wasn’t even the lodge we booked as the boiler wasn’t working in the one we had originally booked and we were offered this as an alternative

We stayed here the 2nd week of January, with myself, my partner and our dog. We were absolutely blown away when we seen the lodge and couldn’t believe the size of it. It was worth the money (it was a lot cheaper this time of year). There didn’t seem to be many people staying but there were a few people in different lodges, I don’t know if this was done on purpose but they seemed to give everyone space between the lodges to give you some privacy. The lodge itself was clean and had everything you needed, the views over the golf course were amazing. The area around the lodge is not enclosed for the dogs, but dogs need to be on lead at all times anyway. Where our lodge was the start of the nature trail which was a circular route around the golf course joining on to public footpath to Pocklington, which was a great trail. We used the hot tub everyday and it was checked everyday by staff. We used the gym everyday which had everything you needed. We didn’t access the spa due to having a hot tub. There are loads of walks in the surrounding area which you would not need your car for and could walk for miles. The meditation centre (Buddhist temple) is worth a look the gardens and lake are amazing. One very minor fault would be that the WiFi signal is weak (but they do state this in there arrival document that the WiFi can be weak in some areas) which meant that sometimes our TV shows on our fire stick would buffer. However this was one minor fault. Everything else was amazing. We tend to do a lodge holiday atleast once a year if not more and can honestly say this is the best resort we have stayed at.Thank you for an amazing time.

Sofa could do with a upholstery clean, a few marks on fabric, but this certainly did not spoil our stay

Great lodges and lovely resort, gym was free and was fitted out appropriately.it is a golf resort so down side of that is people are playing golf close to lodges so privacy is limited throughout the day when using hot tub.

The lodge was great. Only slight, tiny quibble was that there were no dishwasher tablets so would recommend guests bring their own if required. First world problems!

I rented the property for my children and grandchildren to have a holiday. They loved it. The property was beautiful, clean and in a perfect location.
Kerry
Lovely place to stay, the lodges are perfect and clean we had our own parking places which made unpacking easier. The hot tub was lovely and we had plenty of privacy! The beds were very hard but I’m used to memory foam so anything else would be. The restaurant was nice and sat outside looking at the view of the golf course was stunning. I would definitely stay here again.
Pauline
Beautiful location with stunning views.
Rhona
Lovely accommodation- very clean, modern and well equipped. A nice holiday park with some facilities on site but also close enough to towns to spend days away.
Lyndsey
Fabulous break with friends. Staff friendly and attentive, accommodation lovely and clean (could just do with soap and a hand towel in each bathroom) views were amazing, facial was fantastic and afternoon tea was delicious!!
Megan
We stayed at this resort Monday to Friday. It was a fantastic and beautiful resort and we will definitely be back. Staff were lovely and friendly. We had a warm welcoming and Ken who was the on-site security popped around the site each evening checking everything was okay. He was very kind and helpful. The only downsides were not being able to use the hot tub after 11pm and not having an enclosed area for dogs meaning they were constantly on long lines. Over all, definitely recommend this resort.
Eileen
We had a wonderful weekend with family for a wedding which was just great. Staff helpful and friendly. We were aware that the lodge is to be refurbished. It is expensive though.
Jane
Excellent resort and loved our stay. Only downside was restaurant, which was hard to get into and when we finally did the food was poor. However, overall experience was fabulous and we will definitely go back
Memory
Amazing place, enjoyed every single moment and was worth it
Stephen
Excellent lodge and surroundings
