Visitor Reviews of St Margarets Bay

We stayed overnight during a long weekend, but our experience was disappointing. The caravan lacked basic amenities such as towels, and there was only one roll of toilet paper provided. Compared to other caravan holidays we've had, which included more amenities like dishwashers at a lower price, this was by far the worst.

The caravan was really comfy and gave plenty of space, which we appreciated. The only downside was the restaurant - felt a bit pricey for what you got. We only ate there twice, so it wasn’t a big deal overall, though.

We had a lovely stay overall! The only downside was the limited hanging space - just one hook for all seven of us in the caravan. With the rain, we really could’ve used a few more hooks. Still, it didn’t ruin our trip at all!

Our trip was really enjoyableand it was lovely bumping into familiar faces both during the holiday and while stuck in traffic after turning left at the ferry. Great moments all around!

We stayed at Windsor Bungalow recently and honestly, it was pretty lovely. The renovation work is freshand the two bedrooms are spacious with plenty of hanging space and nice furniture. The bathroom was missing hooks and towel rails, which was a bit annoying, but the shower cubicle was spotless with a glass doorand there was a separate toilet too. The sitting area was super comfyand the carpet looked clean. The location is a real highlight - super peaceful, we never got disturbed by any noise, which was perfect. Sadly, the place wasn’t completely smoke-free as advertised; the smell of tobacco lingered despite the air freshener provided by housekeeping. Still, overall, a good stay and we’d consider coming back. Definitely a peaceful retreat!

We’ve stayed in the Windsor bungalow twice nowand it’s really quite lovely. Plenty of space and well-stocked with everything we needed. The only thing was a slight smell that lingered, which we initially thought was just the cleaning products. We didn’t report it right away, but the cleaning lady said if we had mentioned it sooner, they might’ve been able to move us during a deep clean. When we left, the smell was still there in one of the bedrooms. Despite that, we still enjoy our stays here!

The bungalow was a great spot for our chill-out holiday. It’s well stocked and super clean, which we really appreciated. Beds weren’t the comfiest, but after a busy day, they did the job. Staff were quick to sort out any issues. Lovely stay!

Its was mind boggling experience and very refreshing I would highly recommend to anyone who never took a holiday in a long time It was a escape from a daily routine
AUDREY
Disappointed that there were no printed instructions for items in bungalow. Would have liked a living room lamp instead of having the main lights on. Just personal things I would have liked. Didn't use any of the facilities.
Hilary
The bungalow was very nice. There had been a makeover since our last visit, possibly, 6 years ago. The bed was comfortable. The new check in system was very good - no more waiting for the clock to turn 4.00 before being allowed in which was always a very negative start to the holiday.
Debbie
Lovely caravan park. Very clean and tidy. Didn’t use any of the services but the shop appeared to stock the essentials.
Yvonne
The site was great. Clean, accessible & staff were lovely. The chalet was lovely, quiet, overall furnishings were of good standard. Lots of places of interest were in a short distance as were the beaches. I would definitely return in the future.
