Lovely caravan and well equipped.

Cooking equipment was poor and I would have thrown the baking tray away a long time ago. How much is a couple of new baking trays!! Settee was quite stained. Think this particular van might need retiring.

This was a fantastic caravan, very reasonably priced with nice little touches that are different to the norm. There was Teabags, Coffee, Sugar, Milk, Bread, Jam, and Biscuits to set you up on arrival. A Tea-Towel and mini Washing-up-Liquid were supplied. There were mini toiletries (Shower Gel, Shampoo, Body Lotion, Shower Cap and hand Soap) in the bathroom. Nice white Bath Towels and Hand Towels were supplied. Beds were made up for arrival and the caravan smelled nice and was very clean. Everything you might need for a short break was in the caravan, the bed was comfortable and the shower was very good with a constant heat and power. This site is adjacent to the main 'owners' site situated behind the Cross Keys Inn however, it was never noisy and you can use the facilities on the main site. You do need to book in/out at the main site reception.I would definitely use this site again it's a great base for going out and exploring and coming back to peace and quiet.

The van was very comfortable and well appointed, but could have done with a deep clean, especially the bathroom.

T'he caravan was ideal for our needs, as we used it for a home base. The Caravan was well equiped, very clean, the staff we met were helpful they provided us with a useful information package including phone contact numbers. We Will book again.

Really cannot comment on the onsite eating place, Cross Keys, as we never ate there.. Gave 5 stars as Helens Coffee Shop was excellent. The caravan was very cosy and the bed was very comfortable, there were just the 2 of us. Just a few small niggles, shower wouldn't stay hot and the toilets around the water line and below were stained. As I say, small things which did not impact on our enjoyment of our break.

One of the best stays we’ve had at this holiday park. Nice to walk miles every day and then return to a cosy caravan to have tea and settle down with a film and glass of wine. Ava our Pomeranian had the time of her life and loved every minute of it. The only tiny negative we had was the fire in our caravan wouldn’t work and being straight outside the pub tended to be noisey on a night time but was no bother after a while. We was also without any electricity for around an hour one day but we went out for a walk and was all sorted by the time we came back, the staff were amazing. Thank you for a great stay.

Lovely weekend break with my mum and her little dog. Spacious 2 bedroom caravan. Spotlessly clean, nice peaceful location. We was fortunate enough to have caravan number 9, set in the corner away from the entrance. Near to Hornsea village and beach.

Excellent would go back. Ideal for couples, family's on there own or with pets. Who want to be in easy reach of the seaside towns but without the noise. Bus stops outside the pub if you didn't want to take your car.

would definately go back, this is our second visit.love the surrounding areas

Although Cowden holiday park says it is dog friendly, the same cannot be said about either the Club House or Cross Keys Public house. As in both venues dogs are not allowed. They will not even apportion an area inside away from non dog friendly customers. It is ridiculous to be able to take your pet to these camps yet you are an outcast with your well behaved pet. I've seen children less well behaved and make more mess than a lot of pets.
Leigh
Nice site well placed for visiting villages along the coast. The static caravan was spotless. Has a working pod point ev car charger with two connections. Has a club house on the main site and a pub that serves good food.
JULIE
I was really impressed with the cleanliness of the site. The caravan was absolutely spotless and very spacious. The welcome pack was a real bonus as we could have a cuppa as soon as we got there. Very well maintained site.
Janet
Enjoyed so much we have booked the same holiday home for one week in September
Rachel
Was a lovely short break beautiful location, lovely staff, caravan was pristine
Gill
Lovely clean site and accommodation great value for money. Added bonus as right next to very good pub with great food.
Susan
Staff very helpful and pleasant
Marie
Nice clean holiday park. Could possibly be a bit more dog friendly. Dogs not allowed in club and bar or Cross Keys pub consequently we would have eaten at the pub if dogs were allowed inside. Too hot or too windy outside whilst we were there. Had to go to Hornsea to find dog friendly pubs.
