The open plan design makes it feel spacious and the furniture was comfy enough. The TV’s just a basic one without WiFi, but the kitchen had all the essentials we needed. Nice stay!

We honestly think this is one of the nicest holiday parks we've ever visited. As a daughter and retired mum with dogs, we don’t really care much for evening entertainment, so it was perfect for us. The location is beautifully peaceful - exactly what we wanted to escape fireworks and noise. The lodges are spaced out well, giving plenty of privacy. Plus, there are loads of walks nearby and some lovely coastal trips just a short drive away. We loved it so much, we're already planning to return next year!

We had a fantastic stay at this lodge! The bed was honestly the comfiest we've ever slept in, making for a really restful experience. It was so well equipped - from washing up liquid to toilet roll and shower gel. They even thoughtfully provided two washing pods, which was great for doing laundry before heading back home, especially with kids around. Loved it!

We ended up in a Cedar lodge because our original booking was delayed due to some work. Luckily, it was fantastic-spacious, spotless and super comfy. Definitely a great find!

We stayed in a lovely lodge, even though we got upgraded, so can’t comment on the original. The bed and sofas were super comfy and it was well-equipped with an oven, microwave and washing machine. The bathroom had a proper bath, plus an ensuite. The conservatory was perfect for spotting wildlife-really enjoyed it!

Date of stay: 29th September 2024
Overall, we enjoyed our stay at the lodge, though it’s a bit quiet at this time of year. There isn’t much to do nearby and seating options for drinks or meals are limited. Still, the place itself was lovely and peaceful.

Really enjoyed our stay, the outdoor space was perfect for the dogs and everything was spotless! Definitely recommend.
Emma
Date of stay: 15th September 2024
We had a pretty good stay at the lodge. The beds were super comfy and it was a real bonus having two double beds since there were three of us plus our dog. The place was cosy, but a couple of things could be improved. For instance, the main bathroom doesn’t have a shower, which was a bit of a pain, especially on our first night when we couldn’t get the shower knob to turn because it was stuck. The bath was quite slippery too and there were no handles or mats, so getting in and out felt a little risky. We let Andy know about the shower the next morning and he was over within minutes with WD40 to fix it-top service! We also ran into a bit of low water pressure that affected the hot water, but again, Andy sorted it quickly. One thing we’d suggest is a proper clothes dryer-what’s there now doesn’t fit over radiators or window ledges. And, annoyingly, there are no coat hangers on the bathroom door. Still, we enjoyed our time and would recommend it to others for sure!

Date of stay: 28th February 2024
We loved the peaceful vibe and the stunning scenery-it’s perfect for a chill weekend away. If you’ve got kids, it’s great for a short stay, but don’t expect much for little ones since there isn’t heaps to do. The staff were super friendly and helpful, which made our stay even better. Only downside was the shop being closed - would’ve been handy if it was open!
Emma Turner
Date of stay: 25th February 2024
We stayed at the lodge recently and really appreciated that it was pet friendly. The place was comfy and spotless, which was great. The only downside was arriving to broken hot water and heating, so we had a chilly first night. Luckily, it was sorted the next day. The park was peaceful and scenic, though finding the location was a bit tricky. No cafe or shop on site, but the staff were super friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Overall, a decent spot with a few hiccups!

We spent three nights at the Ash Lodge and honestly, it was a lovely stay. The lodge itself is really pretty and in a great location. The staff at the office were super friendly and check-in was hassle-free. Only slight issue was the double bed-felt a bit firm for our liking. Apart from that, we’re really pleased!
Emma Clarke
Date of stay: 1st November 2023
The double bed was a bit disappointing with a thinner mattress, but everything else was spot on.

We had such a fantastic time! The lodge was cosy and clean, staff were super friendly and it was great value. Honestly, didn’t want to leave!
Paul
Lovely location, very peaceful and relaxing with wonderful walks in the grounds of Burton Constable Hall. Staff very helpful and friendly. We didn’t try the food as it only looked like it was a takeaway and very little choice.
Sandra
We very much enjoyed our visit. The lodge was very modern and well appointed. The site was clean and well maintained, in a lovely setting and the accessibility to Burton Constable Hall was a bonus. A special mention goes to the staff who were always friendly and helpful. We would certainly holiday there again.
Karen
Brilliant location, fantastic scenery and walks, helpful friendly staff, on-site shop that had everything especially the stuff you,ve forgot ! Would also recommend Sunday lunch at the Constable arms.
Iain
The staff were amazing and dealt with our needs very fast, efficiently and very friendly. The surroundings are so calm and peaceful and would highly recommend this for anyone wanting to go into the middle of nature and just relax.
Gary
We had a super time, everything and everyone was great. We hope to be back one day.
Silvia
Nice peaceful holiday in a lovely location. Great for exploring Yorkshire with the 2 dogs. Would have been nice to have a dedicated dog walking area (off lead) on site. Dogs also not allowed in the onsite bar/club which is a problem when the weather isn't ideal.
Amanda
Beautiful place lovely walks only downside lake could be improved for fishing as this would improve saleability
