First time in a pod. They are very small. Well insulated and very clean. Mattress was awful. No shelving near bed which it needs. No oven. Too bright at night with the lights from the heater, tv receiver etc. And again in the morning as the window blind does not go all the way down.

Very clean, great little extras eg. Bluetooth, two tvs, walk in shower, could do with blinds covering the front door and windows, and a small light in the main lounge, for the evening.

We loved our pod it has everything we needed and the outside area was fantastic but a sweeping brush would be helpful

Had a nice stay in the pod. The pod itself was nice, clean and well equipped apart from the 2 saucepans that wouldn’t work on the induction hob. You have to pay for the WiFi which although isn’t a huge problem, it wouldn’t let us get up to the payment point, so we spent the first evening without WiFi. It eventually let us in the following morning, but could only pay for 1 or 3 nights and as we had missed a night, we ended up paying for an extra night we didn’t need

Oak Cottage has some wonderful views of the fishing lake and golf course. The large conservatory is a fab addition to the house. Unfortunately there were some problems that came with the cottage. Dont stay here if you have a fear of bugs! The cottage was crawling with spiders and lots of different flies/midges but im guessing that could be due to the proximity of the lake. The amount of flying insects has really put us off from staying here again. Some wallpaper missing from walls leading to conservatory. Cleanliness overall ok but some areas dirty, my hairband fell in the cracks of the sofa so I went under to retrieve it and it was filthy under there. Toilet needed a clean before we could use it, urine stains under seat. Bedrooms clean, smaller than appeared on photos. Kitchen area ok. Unfortunately alot of the cutlery was dirty and a few mugs that hadnt been washed! Garden kept lovely and hot tub a fab addition. I would stay at the leisure park again, just not at this cottage

Amazing! The property is nice and warm, clean and the layout of it is really nice, the only thing that was a downfall was there wasn’t any washing up liquid or extra toilet roll and we had to go and buy all of that

As stated before-beds too soft, pillows poor. Cottage too close to noisy car park-very early disruptionam. Electricty supply shorting twice in the middle of meal preparation-staff unable/ unskilled? couldn't isolate Sat am! hence free brekkie.

The acorn retreat was lovely and had everything we needed for a fabulous stay. Traveling with dogs it would be great to have a brush and shovel and a mop and bucket so that we could clean as we went. There was quite a bit of rain whilst we were there so this would have come in very handy.

Had an evening meal and it was good value for money. Generous sizes. It seemd the staff were here there and everywhere doing lots of different things. They were very helpful and polite.

Caravan was nice & spacious. Despite the extra time spent cleaning there was still a coke bottle & a paper bag down the side of the sofa and spill marks down the front of the kitchen cupboards which I cleaned myself. Nice balcony with table & chairs

The pod would have been perfect for a couple but we took 2 kids and a dog so space was limited! That being said, it was nice to have to talk to the family. Only thing I didn’t enjoy was the lack of space to get dressed without the world seeing. Having to pull the blind every time made the space feel really small. That being said, we would definitely come back and stay in a pod again (just without the kids and dog!).

Cottage was an annex of the main cottage (Primrose) and was enough for us two and our King Charles Cav.
Kitchen had everything you needed even a dishwasher washing machine , bedroom with good size double en-suite bathroom with spa bath , and a large conservatory with comfortable furniture nice for relaxing, garden huge but shared own patio set amongst fields and golf course we have booked again

Woodys resturant is really lovely. Loved the food. Staff friendly. They do summer cocktails and afternoon tea which is a lovely touch for ur holiday.

The staff in the shop was nice , the staff in pub the manager on duty was rude . The gold caravan that we was in the grill in the cooker didn’t work and it was to small 4 6 people
Susan
Great stay lovely site inky disappointment was WiFi

Staff and residents where amazing. Helpful and friendly. The Pod we stayed in was the perfect size. It was on the warm side (did go when we hit record temperatures) so had to go out and by a fan. Lots of lovely villages and towns nearby. It Was the perfect way to spend our 10 year wedding anniversary. The on site pub was so friendly and the food was amazing.

We’ve been a few times now and have a lovely experience every time! The lodge is always clean and ready for us and the staff couldn’t be anymore helpful and polite! We will be returning asap!

Great location for visiting local attractions. Wonderful facilities on site, golf, fishing, woodland walks. Bar & restaurant something for all ages & dog friendly
Jessica
Our third visit to Woodthorpe, the accommodation was spotless and comfortable. Would certainly recommend it if you are looking for some peace and quiet.
Pamela
Great place for r & r! Golf course challenging! Driving range good but the facilities could be improved for example the chairs outside to take a break in have all gone rusty need maintenance and a good luck of paint ! Woodys bar and restaurant good food and friendly service! Location great 14mins from blue flag beach and traditional British seaside entertainment!
Jane
The site was amazing very peaceful staff was very friendly and helpful very relaxing place to stay. The glamping pods. Was good and had everything you needed and the hot tub was amazing, perfect place to relax and unwind.
Jackie
We had a lovely week ,relaxing in the hot tub ,my husband fishing ,caught plenty of fish. The only downside is the shop on site doesnt stock a lot of choice ,as we didnt drive we had to make do with what we took.
Garry
We stayed at Woodthorpe in Woodland 3 Log Cabin for 7 days from July 1st to 8th. This is a fantastic locations with Beautiful Surroundings. There are some Woodland Walks on site, a 18 Hole Golfcourse which is reasonably priced if you like Golf, also a Driving Range. There is Woodys Restarunt on site, also just out side the Woodthorpe Garden Centre which is also great and does foods. It is very Central to a lot of places, i.e Mablethorpe, Skegness etc. The log cabin itself is fantastic, very very Clean, it looked like brand new, lovely seating are attached and a lovely Hot Tub, we could not find a fault with the log Cabin itself and the site in gerneral, so would highly reccomend a stay here. it is very peacfull and tranquil, with lots of different Wildlife tottering about, i.e Squirels, Bunny's and various Birds, we even had a Robin Land on the table as we were eating he/she stayed on the table for at least a couple of min. The only Downside is the Internet Connection is very poor for the price you pay.
