One of the best lodges I have stayed in

As previous comments lovely hot tub well maintained

We stayed in willow lodge. We stayed during storm burt so the weather was awful. Luckily the lodge was very spacious and modern. All very clean. The hot tub was great and very clean. We saw staff come round daily the check the hot tubs and make sure it was all working as should. We will definitely visit again in better weather.

Amazing lodge and great cleanliness. Loads of space and everything working and ready to use with even the odd extra left by the staff

We had a comfortable stay at the Willow. Site staff were friendly and helpful.

Fabulously equipped lodge with tub, ideal for star gazing. Location is lovley, a little road noise though but didn't bother us.

Fabulous place to stay

Beautiful immaculate lodge. Great walks and this lodge is the only one that is dog friendly although there is no evidence that Dogs have stayed in it. Delk the site warden was very helpful and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The hot tub was checked daily and the site is pristine with the groundsperson constantly maintaining lawns and site. I would recommend this site but one of the pro's is it is just off the A38 so easy to find but also a con as it can be noisy from that main road

Only negative was the fact that whenever we used the oven the electricity tripped out!

Brilliant & cosy cottage far enough out the way to be secluded but close enough to local amenities. Amazing hotub & bathroom with underfloor heating throughout tops it off. The owners, Rob & Sharon are wonderful! (And of course Bonnie) Will definitely be coming back again for longer ASAP!!

Really well equipped house, lovely and warm too which was so nice on a rainy December day! Bath was just lovely and a nice big shower! The property is under a flight path - this did not disturb us at all! Dont be put off! A great location for dogs who hate fireworks as it's in the middle of nowhere. It was everything we wanted for our weekend away and we loved staying here. We'll definitely be back! Our pups absolutely loved the underfloor heating and had so much fun in the garden. In fact Luna came home with a strained tail and according to the vet it was because she was wagging it so much over the weekend!! Very happy pups and hoomans!

Lovely cottage. Great location for us. Away from the hustle and bustle. Great hot tub . Lovely helpful non intrusive owners. They have it just right!

Absolutely loved how well maintained and equipped this cottage is. Plenty of dog walks right on the doorstep. Very friendly host, they were so efficient and communication was excellent. We had a wonderful time in Goddard Mead. The cottage was very complete and there were walks on the doorstep. The welcome and stay was very warm. The owners are lovely people.

Such a lovely place to stay in a really beautiful, private location. The owners were really friendly and helpful, nearby if needed but without breaking that sense of privacy. The hot tub was perfect after a day of cycling! One thing to be aware of, the cottage is right under Stansted's flight path, and so there's a lot of aircraft noise.
