We booked up for hayling island last minute and was a bit nervous as we got a good deal and I wondered what the quality of the park would be like. I was pleasantly surprised as everything far outweighed my expectations. The location is ideal really close to some good beaches (although we didn't really have the weather for them) and the Fontwell caravan we stayed in was perfectly clean and adequate for our family. It seemed bigger than other caravans we have stayed in. Although we had some rainy days we really enjoyed our week here and the indoor pool was brill.

Fab park - great show on one night when we there. Would recommend to others. Our children (aged 4 and 7) were kept well entertained.

Caravan basic but big enough. Two showers even had an air fryer. And also had kids plastic cups. Normal stains but never bothers us

We stayed (2 adults,1 child) for 5 days during the Salford school holidays in a Gold 2 berth 2024 caravan. The unit itself was fantastic- clean, bright, warm, great value. The location we used as a base for exploring Portsmouth, the watercress line steam railway and paultons park. We used the pool once and it was lovely and warm with lots of space.The reasons for dropping a * in comparison to other similar places we've stayed: -you have to walk on muddy grass between car and steps to house. There is a paved bit for the wheels of the car to go on.-no towels (although they do a good job of making you aware before arrival)-no starter pack (sponge/dishcloth)-bed incredibly soft. I woke up with a bad back and hips every night.

We asked to change caravan as the first was disgusting

Stains on sofa and carpet, toilet roll only in one bathroom.

Lovely, but snug for a group of adults

Smears on splash back and tv like a dirty cloth had been used. Sofa was quite worn,dipped in the middle. Couldn't find a central heating controller..so had to turn on by the boiler,then all the radiators were turned off

the mobile hadn't been cleaned properly . biscuits down side of sofa seats. cooker hob greasy. TV remote missing, had to replace with spare tv, Although we did find it down side of sofa on our cleaning when leaving. Boiler didn't work, so no hot water. Chap did come that evening and fix. No bread board or frying pan.The site was okay and facilities good. Reception staff friendly, but I didn't feel they gave our complaints to much credence. Our previous weekend in a one bed mobile was excellent, lovely and clean etc, but I did find out later it was used as a show home as well as let out out occasionally.

We had a late season offer of 50% off .I don't think we would have booked if it was full price. That said the caravan was very comfortable and well equipped. I was very surprised to find the addition of an airfryer I don't even have one of those at home.

Shower wasn't very good ,either to hot or turning to cold.

We were a party of 6, overall the caravan was comfortable and spacious.The double bedroom had very limited space round the bed.The toilet room was very small with very limited space, it was a struggle to sit on the toilet with the door closed, so we would use the toilet in the shower room which had plenty of space.

Incredible weekend with the family - loved every moment

Stayed for a long weekend. Caravan was nice and lots of space. Was a lovely base to explore the area.Could of done with a welcome starter pack with washing up liquid and stuff in to wash up. Is a Lidl literally 2min drive though.Facilities were nice but the Arcade section looks a bit run down.Pools look nice didn't have time to use them. Could of done with a later Bingo time atleast once a week

As it was a dog allowed caravan it was as clean as it could be.

Great caravan only downside was caravan A8 was quite near a busy road that didn't seem to quieten down

We had an amazing week I no longer drive bus stops in both direction just outside the park walked to the beach great

We had a great time shops close by, great beach very close ????

We were very pleased with the caravan.

I understand this was a new caravan. The blinds in the bathroom and toilet broke - thankfully they were already pulled down.Would be great if towels were provided and a drying rack that does not have to be hung out of the window!

Booked this holiday for my parents anniversary and they absolutely loved it! Said the beds were incredibly comfortable (not like the typical beds on other holiday sites) They thoroughly enjoyed it.

Great place to base yourself for seeing the island, beach only 10 min walk away. Caravan was clean and had everything I needed, pool was good and the entertainment well that was hilarious.

Really like it here had great time.

Very nice place to be based was quiet found a park and ride which was 4.00 all day and travelled into Portsmouth by bus ..overall a nice holiday

Very relaxing holiday with our dog. Lovely dog walk with easy access from site. Facilities very good and caravan spotlessly clean with modern interior and very spacious. Would definitely return again.

Pleasant stay at this campsite. I could not fault it. Although I didn’t use the bar and restaurant facilities on this occasion. Only spent a weekend here. But would like to come back for a week next time. Staff were helpful. And van was spotless on arrival. Whole campsite clean.

We had a lovely weekend at Hayling Island . The caravan was really clean and had excellent facilities, the washing machine dryer was extremely useful to dry the towels when it was raining and having 2 showers, 1 ensuite was lovely. The swimming pool was lovely and warm and the outdoor was warm too. We really enjoyed the weekend and would definitely stay again.
