Brokerswood Holiday Park

Lovely lodge, very spacious.Showers were great, although no toilet roll holder in one bathroom. (Not the end of the world I know ????)Loved the wine cooler fridge. One thing missing was bedside lamps, so no reading in bed. (Not sure if this all lodges or just the one we were in) Single beds were not the comfiest according to my fellow visitors!The park is very lovely and peaceful. Would recommend and would come back.

The lodge was lovely and really is home from home. It is in a remote location although literally 10minutes from shops and take away. Longleat is 20 min drive from park. The site is clean, tody and well maintained.

Our lodge was very spacious clean and very comfortable, showers were great lovely and hot.The large patio doors onto the decking was nice. 2 car parking spaces.

The lodge in itself was decent as was the stay, the hot tub was great, the little walk in a mini-forest was amazing. The stay? The curtains, mouldy and broken. Singular Pot and Pan for kitchen? Ruined beyond use. The lodge had evidently had a very quick clean, the sofa was filthy, the floor was covered with finger nails, dirt and wrappers swept under the footstools in the front room. Handsoap dispenser empty. Toothbrush holder full of dried crusty toothpaste, mouldy and rusty. It's just needing proper facilities as advertised in the cupboards and a proper good and thorough clean and better preparation and it would be much better.The outside space was well equipped however we didn't use the table and chairs, they were filthy and needed a proper jet wash and scrub. They evidently hadn't been cleaned in over a year green and dirty beyond use so unhygienic to use. Also it's the little things! you spend a fortune on a little weekend break and your welcome letter doesn't spell your name right? Easy mistake, sure but it sums up the lack of thorough careful details in the park unfortunately. We did have a great stay however would go elsewhere for the money spent. If you get a cracking deal then sure you can ignore some of it but in general I'd probably look at other lodges around.

Nice comfortable place to stay all the amenities needed. Nice and quiet. Shower had good pressure.

The lodge was perfect such a great experience

A very nice caravan. Well equipped, but as we visited in the winter, and the heating was set to 19 degrees, we found it cold.

Fabulous holiday! Will definitely return. Although we stayed in the 4 bed lodge as there was a problem with the orginal lodge.

Lakeside 1 is a lovely very modern lodge with TV in both bedrooms, good size single beds, comfortable double bed with plenty of storage, a fully equipped kitchen, excellent heating and great hot tub. There are some wooden steps up to the lodge. As it is set back from the lake, only a glimpse of the lake can be seen through the trees in winter. The site was very quiet during our visit and is in a quiet location. There are lovely walking around the lake and in the woods. Ideal for those bringing dogs. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Great location close to bath and longleat. On site signage could be better to help locate your accommodation. The lodge itself was lovely, spacious, overall very comfortable and well equipped. Hot tub lovely. My only complaints are; there should be a dishcloth and a tea towel provided, and the sofas are not great, the seat cushions slope and you can’t get them to lie flat.

The lodge was a disappointment considering that it was meant to be luxury and wasn't cheap. It wasn't clean, it was tired, the blinds were broken, the hot tub wasn't ready to use, the decking was dangerously slippery. The heater in one of the bedrooms didn't work and the fire in the lounge. Don't waste your money as we left after one night.

Accommodation was smaller than we expected very narrow. More like a caravan than a lodge.

Lodge was comfortable but our preference would have been for a hair dryer and slightly better mattress. Light in the twin room didn’t work and again would have been better to have lighting on the decking and the lodge number.

Just perfect! We had a fantastic weekend at the lodge and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.

Needs deep clean, new microwave; seate; and mattress

Lovely lodge but lacking in essentials. No tea towel. No hot tub towels or robes. No toiletries or hand soap. One toilet roll provided. A bin bag and one dishwasher tablet in a gift bag!

Would go back again. The only ptoblem i found not very well lit or sign posted. The lodge wasn't the one i booked. No welcome pack advising of how certain things worked eg. The heating, it was like a sauna when we arrived and couldn't get hold of someone until the nexy day to see how it worked.

Realy loved the lodge so comfortable ,plenty of space a pleasure to be in 3 toilets was amazing for us all and bathrooms X3 in all a wonderful weekend .

Stayed with a group of friends. Lodge nice and clean. Smallest bedroom was a bit tight for adults. Hot tub clean and relaxing. Beautiful forest setting.

Spacious lodge with everything we needed. Great location, just bring a torch as it is extremely dark in the evenings (no lighting around park)

Excellent short break. First time we had been to this park, lovely and quiet. We have a dog so it was the perfect setting. Will definately be returning.

We had a fantastic stay at Brokers wood. So much to see and do in the surrounding areas.We loved the on-site activities.

We had a fantastic time, the accommodation was so clean and well looked after, the hot tub checked daily and it was so quiet. I do think this park is undersold as we couldn't fault anything. We had deliveries from local takeaways direct to our lodge, the children did the Tarzan Trial and the walks in the wood with the dog were fantastic. Yes down by the lake there is building work for the new lodges so I agree with previous comments of not wanting to stay in one of the pods currently. We would 100% return.

My husband and I took our pup on his first holiday to Brokerswood. He absolutely loved it. As did we! Such a lovely location. Beautiful lake and woodland area. The cabin was comfortable and cosy, exactly what we were looking for. Gated decking area, perfect for the pooch. Friendly staff, very helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and we will most definitely stay again. Thank you! ?

Short notice weekend away was amazing value for money and had an amazing time booked an activity and the coach for canoeing was absolutely incredible will definitely be back

We loved the area, the walks around the lake were great and the staff were lovely

Lovely holiday park very clean and tidy, nice relaxing vibe. Book canoeing whilst there guys really friendly guys. Also have high ropes, archery and axe throwing. Cute little park for the little ones. Shop onside.Would definitely recommend
