Winchelsea Sands

This park was ideal for our family. The children made some good friends at the kids club so we had plenty of time to relax by the pool. They have already asked to go back next year.

Dirty furniture and mould in the shower

The caravan was presentable however did not have any bedding for the sofa bed at all despite knowing it was a booking for 6 people.We requested on 3 occasions at reception and were told housekeeping would bring it this never happened causing me to go and purchase bedding locally not a great start as lazy staff clearly couldn’t be bothered to get it.Wouldn’t stay again the site is extremely basic the amusements are minimal in a tiny section of the club house which was extremely hot inside as no ventilation or air con within that section we ended up spending several hundred in the local amusements in hastings and camber sands which were much better! We used the swimming pool once which was described as heated having a heated outdoor pool at home i can safely say this pool is not heated in summer months and was freezing the parks location was ok but thats about it unfortunately.

Caravan itself was nice but unfortunately there were a lot of cobwebs and dust on certain pieces of furniture

Caravan was suitable for our needs. Would of liked to have outside table & chair's. The club house could have offered more evening entertainment. Swimming pool was too small could only allow 45 people at a time. Therefore had to leave after 1 hour. On a positive note I enjoyed the 4 days @ Winchelsea Sands.

Excellent accommodation, parking an issue as car park had caravans in it .

Caravan was good.Very scenic views.

Great for the larger family

the caravan was warm and like a place away from home great to get away only problem was when you wanted to watch TV late at night it kept scrambling

Great holiday very close to pebbled beach not loads to do on site but a great base for exploring East Sussex.

A very enjoyable and relaxing break, just ideal for a change of scenery.

Would go back again caravan was spotless surrounding area clean and tidy staff very helpfull

I wish the Gold Plus 2 Caravan was on a better site.

No activities to do
Amusements was extremely tiny
No Street lights
No other shops

Caravan was great. Only complaint is the grill didn't work.

The caravan was lovely. Very spacious. More than enough room for four of us. We made use of the large TV and the generous kitchen facilities.

Will definately come again.

Our Gold plus 2 caravan was lovely but the bedrooms were abit too small for us, would go for a bigger caravan next time

the caravan was not as described but nice.

There is one conplete I have was on the inside of the main door there was seagulls dropping down the inside of the door. That should have been cleaned before we went in also there was children hand prints all over the inside of the Windows. So I don't think the caravan was cleaned properly before we went in. I have been in a good many of caravans and never have this been the case before.

Brand new caravan so no complaints at all

Very comfortable smart looking caravan very modern the only things that need improving is storage. Only a tiny shelf in the bathroom to put your toiletries. Double bedroom very small with no drawers. Even less storage in the twin room. We were ok because we used the second bedroom to store our things but if that was in Use it would have been cluttered

Accommodation that was well kept and suited all our needs

Considering this was a gold plus caravan, it was shockingly basic. Whilst being clean'ish and comfortable, there were no hangars in the wardrobes and not a lot of space for towels and accessories in the bathroom, however the real problem was the kitchen equipment, lack of cooking equipment, no tin opener, no cafetiere, only 2 small saucepans and 1 small frying pan, completely inadequate had the caravan been at the full capacity of 4-6 persons.

Well equipped comfortable caravan. Nice and clean. One of the best we have stayed in.

overall a great holiday ,the weather was perfect the caravan was perfect.at the end of our holiday I discovered I had left my phone charger behind I phoned reception and a lady called Wendy found it and sent it to me Thank you Wendy.
