Beautiful location directly across the road from Loch Earn. There is a hotel next door however it was closes for renovation and doesn't open until March 24. Plenty of crockery cutlery, pots and pans etc and the towels were lovely and fluffy Make sure you take plenty of food and drink as there are no shops nearby. The nearest we found was the Co-op in Killin. The Falls of Doohart are spectacular and there are a few restaurants including dog friendly however much of the town was closed over winter. but worth a visit. The lodge has no WiFi which was the only thing it lacked. 3G signalman virtually non-existant so research the area and what there is to explore well before you go. Overall the accommodation was very comfortable and scenery stunning. We would book it again.

Fantastic Scottish break. Really enjoyed ourselves. Fantastic host. Very remote and peaceful. Lots of local pubs and cafes short drive. Supermarket is about 15 mins away so be prepared. The electric meter was fine cost about £12 for the week and we had the heating in. Will return.

Lovely holiday cabin in a lovely, peaceful location. Cabin had all amenities required with the added convenience of an ensuite and washing machine. The owner was really helpful and welcoming.

Overall, this was a really cosy accommodation that I would book again and recommend to family and friends.

We love it here! Back again at Christmas.

This was an Excellent for a short or long break. The Cabin was maculate and well appointed. The view was stunning, staring out the window toward the mountains. The only thing that was a thorn in the trip was due to the COVID 19 problems there was a lot of place near by to eat out. The listing shop in the town was closed so you had to go 6 miles to St Fillan to get milk, bread etc.
Paul
Stunning area, amazing host beautiful chalet. Would 100% recommend and would 100% love to go back.
Gary
Very enjoyable, beautiful location, plenty to do in the surrounding area. Would definitely go back.
Alan
Beautiful location over looking a loch, easy to find, lovely walks close by.
Kate
Great location and spectacular view across the Loch. Hotel and local pub a stone throw away serving great food. Free use of slip and mooring for boat.
Karen
Great central location for travel to other parts of Scotland. Surrounding area marvellous with great views across the loch. Two hotels with one 5 minutes walk, the other about 20 feet away from the steps to the log cabin. Good food in the hotels. The cabin itself was warm, well equipped and very clean. Will go back again.
James
no staff to help with anything hotel naxt door not disabled friendly cruachan along road not serving anyone for meals except guests other hotels nearby either closed or unable to get in unless booked had to travel to killen or comrie to get arestaurant
Neil
Nice clean lodge. However, could do with blinds on windows in the double bedroom. Sunlight brightened the bedroom at 5 am in the morning.
Alan
Let people know you have to pay for the electricity was an expense that should be included
Margaret
Just spent 5 days here, everything about it was fantastic, even the Scottish weather was excellent. Contrary to another comment I saw, our electric meter only took £4. Highly recommended. We’ll definitely come back.
Brenda
