We loved the peaceful vibe of this spot, perfect for exploring York, Harrogate, Knaresborough and Ripon easily by car. The caravans are really nice, though it’s a bit quiet without on-site facilities like a shop or play area. The shower block is handy but not used by us.

Wow, we were really impressed with how well equipped the place was! The kitchen had a dishwasher and a full-height fridge freezer, which was super handy. The bedrooms were nicely laid out - a double with en-suite, a twin and a single - plus a bed settee in the living room. The dining table for six was perfect. Just remember to bring your own towels. We’d definitely stay again!

Honestly, we didn't have any mobility issues, but we chose this caravan because it was the only one available and it turned out to be a great decision. The welcome we received was genuinely warm and friendly, which set the tone for a relaxing stay. The caravan itself was spotless-so much cleaner than most static parks we've stayed at, which was a nice surprise. We actually preferred it to the wheelchair-friendly options since the extra space and wet room made it feel really comfortable. Check-in was supposed to be at 4 pm, but the day before, I got a call from Mike (hope I got his name right?) offering us to arrive from 12 pm if we wanted-such a lovely gesture! The location is perfect for exploring Knaresborough, York and Harrogate, with easy escapes to the countryside after busy days. We’ll definitely be coming back, 10/10!

We stayed for four nights and really enjoyed the peaceful vibe here. The site’s small but charming, perfect for walking the dog right outside. The caravan was simple but spotless and comfy. For the price, it’s a real bargain!

Really enjoyed staying here, the lodge had everything we needed and it was super clean too.

Holiday Park is set amongst trees, approx. 1/2 miles away from the A1M so it can be heared as a drone in the distance but it certainly did not disturb us even when sleeping with the windows open. The staff we met were very helpful & friendly. We were able to park the car alongside the caravan. The park is within walking distance of Allerton Castle where we attended a wedding on the Saturday. The downside is that you need the car to get to local pubs/shops etc.
Sam
Lovely, peaceful, maintained and near to so much.
Keith
A very clean and quiet site close to the motorway and shops.
Kathleen
Stayed here as a base for the Great Yorkshire show. Very quiet off the beaten track.Suitable for walkers both human and dogs. Nothing on site, not really suitable for children either.
George
Very good. Nice caravan park with helpful staff.
Corrina
This is the third time booking this caravan and definitely won't be the last
Sarah
Allerton Caravan Park is lovely and peaceful. We stayed in a caravan which felt very spacious and really clean. My brother and his family stayed in a lodge and we were very impressed with how roomy it felt. The park itself is well kept and close to Allerton Castle so ideal if attending a wedding as we were. There is no bar/restaurant facility onsite but you are ten minutes away from Knaresborough and close to York and Harrogate. Well worth the money, would definitely visit again.
Elizabeth
Beautiful lodge highly recommend
