Everything was perfect and clean. Lovely and spacious. Would happily come back and stay again

Kent lodge was okay, would've been perfect but bathroom at holes in the wall and carpet was filthy other than that it was a beautiful lodge. Hot tub was nice and relaxing. Staff lacked knowledge of the area which would've been helpful for me and my wife as we never been to the Lake district before shop and restaurant opening hours are abit poor I'd of expected longer opening times. No entertainment in the evenings

Had a great relaxing four days. Not much to do on site. But if you want a quiet time, and lovely walks, this is the place. The lodge is a great size with lovely views. Furniture a bit tired, but overall I recommend.

The lodge was spotless and the beds were super comfy! Kitchen was well equipped. The lodge felt quite spacious even though there was 4 of us and 2 dogs.

We fed back on a couple of very, very minor points related to kitchen equipment, but other than that everything worked well. The lodge was comfortable, spacious and the hot tub lovely after our walks.

Absolutely love it here, booked up the day I left again for next year :)

Date of stay: 15th May 2022
One of the twin rooms had 3 mirrors whilst the other had none which meant a lot of bundling into the other persons room to share theirs which was a pain but other than that everything else was great

Date of stay: 15th May 2022
The lodge was lovely for what we needed it for. It was our first holiday away with the baby & our dogs so I must admit we spent alot of time in the lodge - if we were to come back we would probably book a bigger lodge just purely due to the amount of time we spent in there with our youngster & the doggos.

The Lodge was absolutely fine for our purposes although we worried about energy waste - all heaters were on full blast when we arrived. We turned them all off and did not use them again.

Lovely spacious lodge, 6 of us had a lovely stay, plenty of space, very clean inside, hot tub was fabulous enjoyed every evening. Could do with a cover above as alot of bird muck, other than that we all really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again.

Date of stay: 3rd April 2022
Loved every moment , the lodge was all ready for us , hot tub was ready , beds made , every bit of cutlery we needed - there was even a bottle of water and pint of milk waiting for us with a selection of teas n coffee . 4 days was not enough time here , so we'll be back soon. The heating was constantly on so there was always a place to dry clothes.

Would definitely recommend, good size, modern warm and cozy Lodge, comfortable beds, well equipped. Fixtures and fittings in fairly good repair a little wear and tear but nothing major. Nice big seating area and good size sofas. Tv and dvd player wifi worked ok. Bedrooms on the small size compared to some places weve been but were comfortable enough and had a tv and storage. The lodge was clean odd cobwebs in the sauna but that was it.The sauna was a bonus and hot tub and outside seating perfect. We stayed in Borrowdale which I think was one of the best location wise, purched on a hill side overlooking the valley and the sea in the distance, great for watching sunset and star gazing at night. Lodges are on a slight slope but you can park fairly close but not right outside for all lodges. Some lodges are quite close to each other but this one felt private only overlooked slightly by one other lodge. We stay in alot of these types of lodges and I would definitely return to this one

This was a fantastic choice for a getaway. We stayed in the Duddon Lodge which I believe was a good value for money as it was modern and spacious. It's a lovely location and there is plenty of privacy in the hot tub. It was a warm and cosy lodge with all clean facilities and I would definitely return in future. We stayed 2 nights and I would advise to keep the hot tub on during the day so it's warm enough to use in the evening as we made the mistake turning it off and it was a bit chilly. Overall this was a lovely experience I don't think 2 nights was enough personally! A beautiful scenic drive and a perfect place for long walks whatever the weather!

9 as we did find some old food under one of the sofas but apart from that it was Brilliant

Lovely place with a great hot tub and fantastic views.

Date of stay: 16th October 2021
The area is beautiful and the inside of the cottage was decorated to a very high standard. The photos don't show that the only views that you get out of the cottage are of the cleaners, the back of the hall kitchens, the storage bins. Oh and the neighbours on their balcony when sat on the toilet on the first evening. We were over looked from all sides and closed the curtains. I feel that the photos of the cottage should be more genuine. The hot tub was set at 44degrees and my partner could not go in it for more than 5 minutes without getting dizzy, be very careful if you have kids.

Date of stay: 24th August 2020
Nice lodge very private, good size rooms and nice kitchen/living area. Bit dark due to being surrounded by large trees. But that only made it more private.
Rachel, Leeds
Date of stay: 21st August 2020
The lodge was bigger than anticipated, and the open plan living space worked well. The bedrooms were compact, but adequate for a short stay. The bathrooms were clean but a little tired in places.
Tom, Blackpool
Date of stay: 21st August 2020
The outside caterer "King Billy Grill" really let down the rating on this. When taking our order over the phone (bearing in mind we were out walking in the Lakes so we're struggling to hear and didn't have the menu with us) as the lady put the phone down we heard her say "oh for goodness sake", during the call she had made us feel like we were an absolute inconvenience as we had questions about sauces for steaks. To the point where I just ordered a vegetarian lasagne as it just seemed like to much effort for her.

Loved the area and lodge x
Sharon
Had a brilliant time and the accommodation was just the right size for a family of 3 and a dog. The only downside was the lack of fridge and freezer space in the lodge. Location was fantastic, local beaches not too far away and the food at the restaurant was really Nice and the staff were nothing but helpful and friendly. Would definitely visit again :-)
Wayne
Great views around the area. Staff were always polite and helpful.
Katie
Spent a weekend here with my family, including my 20 month old little boy and 2 dogs. Slightly out of the way but a lovely drive to the beach if you want to explore. Cabins clean tidy and cosy, my little boy loved seeing the peacocks roaming. The shop on-site had all the essentials, the restaurant food was lovely and staff really friendly and helpful. We had a wonderful time
Claire
Lovely big lodge with plenty of room for the family with everything you need. Friendly staff and lovely wee pub/restaurant. Only downside is could do with a better park for the children. But overall had a lovely stay.
Gordon
Just back from a week's stay at the beautiful Brockwood hall. Loved it. Location is perfect, beautiful views and walks, our toddler and dog both had a great time. The lodges are lovely, hot tubs great, the on site pub and shop brilliant and staff so friendly and helpful. Will definitely be back
Gail
Stayed here for 3 days, was just beautiful. The lodge itself was lovely and clean, the beds were mega comfy. Kids and our dog were very happy. Lots to do around the area and Windermere lake is a must to go and visit for the day. Definitely be back soon
Leanne
Lovely stay We have been before so knew what to expect and it didn’t let us down we will return again Thanks
Scott
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Brockwood Hall and would definitely return. The location was exceptional. The on site facilities were great especially the hot tub at the lodge. I know that they are opening a new leisure centre in 2023, which will be a welcome addition. The Peacocks in the grounds added a special touch. The woodland walks were great for the dogs too. Highly recommend this location for a family holiday where dogs are welcome.
Christopher
Brockwood hall really nice, just don't go to millom, nothing there.
Jane Anne
Had a great stay only down side noisy neighbours with barking dogs
Kim
Lovely place to stay, Brockwood hall did amazing food too. Everything about our stay was perfect. Nice seeing peacocks like that too. Xx
