The accommodation was excellent, very clean and looked almost new. Not too spacious but definitely enough for a family of 4. There were 2 bathrooms (1 ensuite), heating worked well too.
Judi, Brierley Hill
Excellent choice, would definitely choose this caravan again
I would go back to hunters quay. Back but at winter time the park should salt the roads.
After all if you go to leisure center, and have a drink the roads are dangerous.
The log cabin is nice inside, the balcony ideal.would recommend.
over all very good
The only issue with the furniture and fittings was that the handle mechanism on one of the bedroom doors was faulty. So my 5 year old got stuck in the room, until we managed to get a screw driver and fix it. I had to rescue the 5 year old out of the bedroom window so he didn't get upset.
But on the whole everything was fine and the standard was very good.
The caravan seemed fairly new and was spotless. We were incredibly comfortable.
Great caravan, modern, clean, utensils good as new. Entertainment for kids good. Lovely setting & views. Can be a busy or relaxing holiday, whatever your choose. Would definately go back.
We went at a quiet time of the year. Lovely caravan. The site would be a lot different in busy season but we prefer when it's quieter. Lovely swimming pool and spa area.
Date of stay: 18th September 2017
Accommodation type: Oak Premier 4
stunning lodge - cleaning let it down with items under furniture including wrappers and hair
Steven, Mid Calder
The lodge was a bit dated and could be brought up to date - a bit 1980's decor
Clean & comfortable- Staff very helpful and pleasant. Good activities for children.
Absolutely loved it from the moment I arrived. The staff were so helpful and welcoming. The site is lovely and caravans very clean and well maintained. I wouldnt hesitate to return.
We spent a week during the Christmas holidays, it was a fantastic family vacation, a relaxing atmosphere away from the everyday life. We had lots of fun in the complex (swimming pools, sauna, soft play area, Go Active activities) and in the surrounding area (hiking at the Benmore Botanic Garden).
The log cabin was almost perfect.the only negative is the area on entry to the cabin.
There should be a shoe rack, and more hangers for coats and jackets, there is adequate
Area to put these suggestions in place.
Also when walking back to cabin, the roads are treacherous when icy, no salt put down.
Had a great time, we had a lodge, it was very basic but spotlessly clean.
The reception staff were very welcoming on our arrival, the animation team were great with the kids. We would definitely return.
Great lodge, oak premier, hot tub was fab. Would defo recommend. Bit quiet after half term but didn't have too much of a bearing on what we did. We've booked to go to another site. Thanks!
First class accommodation. The staff are excellent we had a problem with our hot tub and it could not of been handled any better from the maintenance team to the park manager everyone was very helpful and pleasant. Only fault was a lot of the games where broken not working but everything else about the park is first class.
