Lovely place to stay, well equipped and spotless

Everything was perfect, the lodge was clean with a few added, but unexpected little extras.

Thoroughly enjoyed staying at the lodge, finished to a high quality & wonderful accessories in it. Lovely little touches like a bottle of Prosecco for me, smart TV so could connect to Netflix etc & free wifi. Peaceful surroundings and very safe for solo travellers.

Amazing location to get some time away in a lovely quiet location. Local pub has great menu and very friendly. Lovely walk into York. Very modern and comfortable cabin with all the mod cons would definitely return!

Sensational, what a place, unique, magical

Wonderful location only drawback heavy and awkward door to lodge.

A lovely unusual lodge, perfect for a relaxing getaway, set on a quiet site on the marina… but a short walk to restaurant/cafe food was delicious and staff friendly .. and boat hire, lovely walks on the doorstep .. enjoyed sitting on the decking with a drink watching the sunset everything needed in the lodge, (basics.. washing liquid, tea coffee sugar, soap shampoo etc) will definitely book again.. perfect for couples, not suitable for pets and children.

Beautiful location. So peaceful and relaxing. The food at the marina restaurant was excellent as was the Sunday roast from the nearby village pub in Naburn which is just a short walk away. We took advantage of the 10% discount offered by the marina and hired one of their motorboats for a trip into York. All in all a wonderful experience!

Staff welcoming and friendly especially Debbie. Had lunch at waterfront cafe which was lovely. Lovely walk along old railway track. Marina was kept clean and tidy at all times

Immaculate as usual third visit just as good as the first park and into york five minutes drive awayand ride into york

First class accomodation in perfect location. Staff very friendly and helpful. Good food in restaurant reasonable priced and everything served with a smile. Plenty of nice walks and bus to York outside gate or P&R from Designer Outlet

Amazing lodge only let down by the electric shower

Went during storm eunice Had a great time, Lodge was warm, cosy, everything needed for a great stay 5 miles outside York peaceful and for a great Sunday dinner try the woodsman Inn at Bishopthorpe, will be back hopefully

A fabulous unique cosy lodge with everything you need.

Just had a weekend away in the floating lodge , it was an amazing few days , the lodge is beautiful and had all the facilities you need, it's about 4 or 5 miles from York which made it easy to visit the city centre , it's not cheap but it was a lovely experience and a bit different.
