A perfect and wonderful place to relax and unwind. The lodge is clean and spacious. The hot tub is in a private place and a very nice addition. The view of the surrounding countryside is beautiful. This is a peaceful and comfortable place to stay.

Great place to stay for a chill, everything you need, all amenities with in a 5-10 min drive, host was great and knowledgeable of the local area

Just perfect- nothing to stress over. Lovely surroundings and relaxing hot tub. Not much to do in the area - but that suited us.
Only 2 lodges, so no noisy neighbours 

The best lodge holiday with a hot tub we have had to date with lovely hosts and facilities. During our stay we constantly had birds visiting the bird feeder outside the main windows.

We had a wonderful time

With just 2 lodges in such a quiet and private setting overlooking the valley and moors, I would recommend staying here for anyone that wants to unwind and relax.

The lodge was like home from home. Only issue for me was the mattress was slightly too soft for me. I do have a bad back though so can be fussy.

Amazing time on our honeymoon and both my husband and I have said this is going to be one of our regular places for a get away.

Brilliant week away here, the lodges are perfect, set in a beautiful location. Absolutely loved spending time in the hot tub. Could not fault the lodge, everything that you needed was there, every detail thought of, this has got to be one of the best lodges we have stayed in. The owners are very welcoming and friendly. We have booked again for next year. The children didn't want to leave. Amazing. Thank you for a brilliant stay. Look forward to returning in 2020.

Excellent. Great overall.

An amazing break, we couldn’t have asked for more. Very dog friendly accommodation so we could let the dog run around whilst we enjoyed the hot tub and surroundings. We will be going back.

Enjoyed the great outdoors, there are good walks and nice places to visit. The lodge was spacious and clean in beautiful surroundings. Hot tub was great and good to see the red kites too. A beautiful/relaxing place to stay.

Couldn't have asked for better, our lodge was amazing, everything you needed was provided and we felt very much at home. Hot tub was clean and checked everyday without disturbing us at all. The area is stunning and with Elan Valley almost on the doorstep there's was so much beauty to admire. We will be returning in the future.

We all really enjoyed our hoilday plenty of room in the cabin and everything that we need for a relaxing holiday our pet really enjoyed the freedom of the garden and the nice personal touch of Duncan meeting us when we arrived to show us around the cabin and the very nice welcome pack
and the best part was the views from the hot tub which we made full use of the hot tub

we will be looking to book again next year and many more years excellent service from start to finish

even the cleaning ladies we met has we was leaving were nice

We would recommend heart of wales lodges as a great place to stay. Very clean and relaxing environment. The lodge was well equipped and we enjoyed the birds visiting the bird feeder. Duncan was a friendly host and knowledgeable on the area. We will definitely be returning.

A lovely secluded lodge in beautiful countryside. Totally secure for any size dog and a wonderful hot tub. Lots of lovely walks a short drive away and enjoyed the boatlake at Llandrindod Wells. All friendly welcome on arrival too.

Absolutely just what we were looking for. Huge lodge in the middle of nowhere. Only two lodges on site. Everything absolutely spotless. Duncan couldn’t have been any more helpful with daily visits to service the hot tub and six fresh eggs waiting in the fridge for us on arrival.

Third time staying here. Have booked for 7 days in 2023. A very relaxing holiday. Very clean and hot tub checked every day by owner, who is very friendly. Even our dog loves his holiday here.

If you want a escape from the hustle and bustle of life this is the place to pick. The lodge it’s self is first class with lots of space comfortable beds and a fantastic hot tub we’ll definitely be booking again. Highly recommend 5 stars

It’s by far the most beautiful lodge me and my partner have stayed in. With there being only 2 lodges at the place, it is so quiet and private you cannot beat it. The location itself has beautiful views and is very quiet, but there isn’t an awful lot to do unless you travel. But we went for a relaxing holiday so not having things to do was not an issue for us personally. The lodge is fully equipped with everything, some bathroom products such as shampoo, conditioner and body wash would have been appreciated but with COVID this may have been the reason for their absence I have recommended (and will continue to recommend) this lodge to lots of family and friends and hopefully me and my boyfriend will return at some point in the future.
