Staff could not do enough to help on arrival and throughout our stay.Views were great. On a personal note I think the lodge could do with blinds in the patio doors. I know this would block some of the view but it would be nice to have the option of having them there to use if you wished, because at times the sun is directly blasting into the lodge seating area. This only a small detail from me personally.

So comfy home form home we had a week stay loved it so friendly nothing is to much to ask we had everything we needed highly recommended staying hear can’t wait to book again

What an amazing place! The lodges are new, modern and well designed. The big windows and doors lead you to the amazing view over roseberry topping. The hot tub is an amazing addition to what was already and amazing destination! The lodges were clean, tidy and newly furnished. Very modern and contemporary feel. It had everything that you could possibly need to make you have an amazing break! I highly recommend Wyke Lodges and Travellers Rest

Lovely lodge with everything you need for a break away from home. In a great location, close to many places and great walks to do around the area.Brilliant views of Roseberry topping from the site.Very helpful and friendly owners.Only things to note is that there is no freezer only a fridge.Would be nice for some blind/curtains on the big windows at the front of the lodge to make it cosier on a night.Overall a great place. Would definitely recommend and would visit again.

Brilliant, what more can we say!

Fantastic, only a few small bits, like cobwebs on lightshades and a bulb missing. No freezer but we made do.

We had everything we needed in Travellers Rest. It was clean, comfortable and homely, with a fantastic amount of space for our little family of 3 and a dog. And the hot tub was AMAZING.

Brilliant lodge it was very clean and well stocked with everything we needed. Comfortable and beds and sofa and lots of space. Hot tub was great. Gorgeous views of the area and very peaceful

There was a light bulb missing in the dining room light and cobwebs on the high light but otherwise the accommodation was clean and tidy with everything you needed. There didn’t appear to be any facilities on sight but staff were very helpful and due to being in a self catering lodge did not need any other facilities on sight.

All amazing. We loved our break. Beautiful lodges and lots of places to visit close by.

Gorgeous lodge to a high standard.

The lodge was fantastic.Very modern and very clean. The hosts were very friendly and happy to offer assistance or guidance. I think it's been mentioned before, but don't go by the pictures RE the bed set up. I thought we had a double and 2 singles, but it was 2 doubles. Not a problem for us but worth a mention.

We stayed in lodge number 3, which was called Captain Cook. for 5 nights in July. Denise and Jed made us feel so welcome on arrival and the lodge was beautiful and very well appointed with everything you need. The hot tub was gorgeous with an amazing view of Roseberry Topping. We were very lucky with the weather as it was sunny the whole time. From Wyke Lodges we went to Whitby, Saltburn and Staithes (all a short drive away) and walked along the Guisborough forest trail along the disused railway to a nice cafe for brunch. The lodge site is lovely and the surrounding area is beautiful with so much to explore and we would love to return one day.

Really enjoyed staying at this lodge nice and peaceful location. Would recommend and stay here again. Owners were lovely on arrival very friendly ans made to feel welcome

I am giving this a poor review as both my partner returned from a weekend break here and have both come out covered head to toe in rash. I’m not sure whether this is from the hot tub and if this was poorly maintained? Overall the cabin is nice and in a lovely location. We had a lovely stay, the only downfall was the rash we both came home with.

Lovely relaxing break. Would definitely come back. Great base, beautiful lodge.

Great location & pod

A beautiful site with beautiful views. Although just off a main road, there is no noise from the road. The lodges are beautifully decorated and everything is thought of towels, dog bowls and even salt and pepper. We visitred with 2 children and a dog and everyone had a lovely time, we have recommended to many friends already

Great location, perfect for exploring

The sanctuary pods were lovely and great for our two dogs too.

Absolutely fantastic Lodges perfect location & beautiful surroundings. Loads to do would 100% go back. Lovely staff who would do anything to make sure our stay was fabulous ????. Wifi was brilliant streamed films on our firestick no buffering at all the whole week. Hot tub was excellent we all loved it. Especially our 2 dogs

Fantastic break in the sanctuary pods, we arrived late and dark but were still greeted warmly by Matty who suggested places to go via foot in the morning which we did and it was a great walk. We will be going back.
