We stayed here for a week in June and loved every minute. Even though we had some bad weather there was always something to do and the children made some good friends. The site felt safe and we were happy for them to wander around the park without us.

Beautiful caravan

Double bed squeaky. Great service as heating wasn't working on arrival but fixed within minutes

Lovely caravan had a few issues with cleanliness and due to mobility issues moving around in bedroom. Didn’t like location of caravan either. In high season would have been very noisy.

The caravan was a good size, however we had multiple light fixtures which didn’t work and a leak in the toilet. Otherwise the bed was of good size. WiFi caused slight issues as we couldn’t connect our devices and the smart tv struggled. Dishwasher, oven and fridge worked as expected and shower size was reasonable. Good value for money.

Standard caravan, spotless and clean. After a 6 and half hour journey making the beds was a bit of a hassle but the caravan itself had everything we needed and good storage, also some great views!

Excellent..had a great time

Bad smell, knifes not sharp enough to cut butter let alone an onion, welcome pack a nice touch but no soap provided and only 1 dishwasher tablet for a week, towels not included, had to make our own beds and there was not any extra loo roll only the 1. Sofa dirty and stained.

Loved the caravan dexter our dog loved it too we would definitely book again.

Caravan was well appointed with a large sofa enough for all 6 of us. We had to move the table to sit everyone as only 4 stools but wasn’t a problem. Shower was lovely and hot, struggled to get the kids out of it. Rooms had loads of storage which was handy as it the twin rooms were small. The double room had an en-suite toilet which was very handy and a nice surprise. Kitchen had everything you’d need: dishwasher, microwave, kettle, toaster, oven, hob and grill. Large fridge freezer although no ice trays. There is no outdoor seating provided which would have been great but we used camping chairs so not an issue for us. Parking was always available close by and we used the EV charger whilst there which was handy.

We enjoyed our stay in the cravan. It was very clean and the kitchen utensils are plenty. The welcome drinks and biscuit is very much appreciated. Thank u for letting us stay in your caravan????

Bathroom wasn’t plus size friendly but everything else was perfect

We absolutely love it there we have been going there for the past 15 years with our family there’s something for all age groups

The Caravan was not new, and our double bed was not very comfortable. There were sufficient cupboards for us to store our clothes in, and the cupboards in the shower room were adequate.

A good caravan but needs soft furnishings.

Would not stay here again. Caravan was dirty. Facilities such as the arcade wasn’t open until 5pm cannot get food until 5pm either which is a bit strange considering it’s peak times

We stayed four nights in a gold caravan. The caravan was really lovely, spacious and had a well equipped kitchen. The caravans are well spaced out, don’t feel on top of one another. Ours had a huge window in the lounge area, which gave us lovely views of the surrounding hills. Plenty of parking near the caravans, you can’t park beside them, but along the roads which weaves throughout the park, there was always a space which was great. Staff were very helpful and friendly. We used the swimming pool every day, however there is a brown smudge of grime and gunge on the tiles, all the way around the water line, it needs a good clean! The water is also extremely misty, I’m not sure why! The life guard was very friendly and welcoming, and gave us a recommendation of a good fish and chip shop in nearby Bude - The Mermaid. I can confirm that the chips here were delicious! It’s worth noting that if you want to swim, you have to book a time slot the day before. This ensures the pool doesn’t get overcrowded, which was good. There is no WI-FI or mobile phone signal in the caravans. The only WI-FI is in the entertainment club house. This did affect us as I like to research places to go in an evening, and look for things to do each day, usually based on what the weather will do the following day! This wasn’t possible and our teenage son found it very frustrating too! I do believe that being off screens is an excellent thing, but I’m not sure no connection is suitable for us. The location of the park is pretty. However you need to drive as it would be a long way to walk down to the coast along the country roads, most of which have no pavements. There is a shop onsite, but it’s quite pricey, however there is a Morrisons, Sainsbury’s and a Lidl in Bude.

Our Caravan was bright and airy and very comfortable and clean … like a home from home , we were very happy.

Nice caravan

Fantastic caravan, very clean and well kept.

Small bedroom door wouldn't shut due to size of bed over hanging, so you would catch your toe each time. Plastic strip on the door kept coming off, and we had to mend the bathroom blind. Oven took ages to cook and the control knob wasn't right so it was guess work. There was only 3 of us and we only just had enough room sat at the table, and the sofa.

Could do with better mattresses. For a gold caravan, I expect to be comfortable. Mattresses are very springy. When I say springy, I mean springs digging into you.

A holiday park I would not go to again. The caravan was good but not the surroundings. I would not go to a John Fowler park again. Parking inadequate. No service or WiFi unless you walk 200 yards to restaurant/clubhouse. Very disappointing overall.

The holiday was fantastic we went just out of season and it was fine we had all we needed. The staff and whole site was great would highly recommend.

what an amazing place, the site the staff the entertainment team absolutely brilliant, we didn't want to leave, and can't wait to book again! our caravan was spotless and had everything you need, can not wait to see the hot tub option next year, how exciting! the pool was lovely, but bookings a bit of a pain when you just want to roam the area and luve by the moment, but when we fancied a dip we just drove the 3 min drive to the absolutely stunning widemouth bay! I've never really been interested in North Cornwall before or really travelled to South, but I have to say this area and site completely changed my mind, so much to explore and do, we can't wait to go again. can't wait to recommend it to everyone! thank you yo stripey Heather and the stripey team for making Sydney feel included and giving her amazing memories ?
