Lodge was amazing true home from home with everything needed the only small thing but just my opinion a small tv in one of bedrooms would have been nice .

Lodge was clean, smart and very warm and comfortable

We highly recommend The Astbury Golf and Lodge Resort. Lodge was immaculate throughout, more than well equipped and exceeded our expectations. Enjoyed our stay very much.

Absolutely stunning luxurious lodge, everything was to hand and the hot tub was amazing

Chestnut Lodge was warm and comfortable and nicely located with good views and decking with outdoor furniture. TV over complicated. And lacked instructions on how to access basic channels like BBC and ITV. The sofa is a sofa bed and the seat cushions slope towards the middle, could be better. Otherwise well equipped, efficient heating and easy to adjust. Though we didn’t use them, a microwave, dishwasher and washing machine are provided.Overall very good value and would go again.

All aspects of the lodge were top quality.It was also cosy, warm and comfortable.It’s a lovely place to stay and would be suitable for any season of the year.

Had a great holiday and a fantastic location. Some many towns within 20 mins drive.

Absolutely lovely

I spent the weekend with my partner at Astbury in one of their gorgeous on-site lodges. The area was beautiful and our lodge was right next to the waterfall which was so peaceful. The lodge we chose to stay in had a hot tub built into the decking outside which was lovely. There was enough privacy provided by the glass railing around and the furniture placement to make us feel comfortable being in there and not being seen. The lodge itself was immaculate and clean, had all the basics and even came with a welcome box filled with tea, coffee, sugar, milk and cookies, as well as cleaning supplies being provided such as a sponge, dish soap, dishwasher tablets and clean bin bags. The bed was super comfy and the living space was just overall amazing. The welcome from the staff was friendly and helpful for the questions we had about hiring tennis equipment for the courts on-site, and they were kind enough to check us in early as well. Overall an amazing stay, we will be returning back to Astbury in the near future and we can’t wait to see how the site develops in the next few months! Thank you so much for an amazing anniversary stay.

Could not recommend these lodges more. Staff on check in were friendly and welcoming. Lodge itself was stunning and impeccably clean.Cleaning pack is super useful and it was lovely to have the addition of biscuit, tea coffee and milk sachets.Lodge is well kitted out with everything you need, hot tub was easy to use and super private. Will 100% be returning.

We spent a lovely few days over the New Year, the lodge was beautiful and the kitchen well stocked with crockery, pans, etc. We enjoyed spending in the hot tub too.

Lovely home enjoyed by all including our dog. Will definitely be back

Fabulous lodge, very modern and tasteful furnishings, extremely well equipped. Very good selection of outdoor furniture for the better weather.

Excellent property had everything we need for the 4 nights. Lovely secure garden. Clean

Beautiful lodge, nice and spacious, selection of board games and puzzles as well as an Xbox great for families with children. Only downside was no lights round by the jacuzzi area. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to others.

Lovely break in a very quiet place

Absolutely stunning lodge! Spotlessly clean. Furnishings were gorgeous and very tasteful. The lodge itself is very spacious and has everything you could possibly wish for. The hot tub is fab. It was our first time here but we will definitely be back.

great lodge,everything you need bar hoover.shower best we have used,huge tv in living room,lodge 26 had own parking and quite private.would love to return during spring/summer to enjoy peace and quiet on an evening.

Lovely lodge but dishwasher was broken but not issue washed everything by hand .Staff gave us washing liquid .

Fantastic high end and value for money,it does not happen much these days but at The Astbury it does,well done

Beautiful lodge Loved the hottub

Everything was great. Only slight complaint we weren’t able to get the main television working which was a bit disappointing!

We had a lovely long weekend in one of the lodges. Unfortunately on arrival there had been a leak in the lodge and we had to wait for this to be fixed before getting into the property half an hour late. . Once inside we were impressed with the lodge in terms of layout and cleanliness. The master bedroom was lovely however the second twin room was quite cramped for two adults sharing with very little space to get ready. Only one person at a time could comfortably be in the room. I think this has been mentioned in an earlier review that it’s more like the size of bedroom you’d expect in a caravan rather than a luxury lodge. The lounge was comfortable and spacious and the hot tub on the decking was a great added feature. However, the lighting was very bright both in the lounge and second bedroom and there were no lamps or dimmers to create a more relaxed ambience in the evening which was a bit disappointing. Also there were no waste bins in the rooms other than a kitchen bin. We also had a blocked shower which overflowed in the main bathroom which we managed to unblock ourselves but wouldn’t expect to have to do so. So all in all, a nice stay but a lack of attention to detail in terms of things that you would expect to be provided.

Lovely lodge. Would have liked to be able to watch live TV and not just using a fire stick. No instructions on how to use the heating which was disappointing but a call to the club guided us.
