We stayed at Skovarel and honestly, it’s a lovely spot. The cabin’s beautifully tucked in the site and the private sauna along with the sunken hot tub made it extra special. Everything we needed was there, plus a nice touch with wine and shortbread when we arrived. The bedroom was a good size, the kitchen well-stocked and the place was spotless. Really enjoyed our stay!

Our stay at Springwood was just lovely. The lodge offered perfect privacy and a calming vibe - we really appreciated that. The hot tub was a highlight and the wood burner made it even cosier. Only tiny gripe: a walk-in shower would’ve been better for us. The surrounding area had plenty to explore too, so all in all, a great getaway!

We really enjoyed our weekend escape. The walk to the pub took about 45 minutes and it was such a peaceful, uninterrupted break. Lovely all round!

We had a really lovely stay at this lodge! It’s perfect if you’re after peace and quiet - just the birds singing. The place has everything we needed; the hosts clearly thought of every little detail. We only brought our personal stuff and food. The surprise bottle of wine in the fridge was a lovely touch and relaxing in the hot tub was just what we needed!

We loved the lodge! The private jacuzzi and sauna inside were fantastic and having a TV and DVD/CD player was handy. Just don’t forget your Bluetooth speaker for music. Very peaceful spot!

We had such a lovely stay at this lodge! The private hot tub and sauna were fab and the cosy log burner inside made it super welcoming. Watching the wildlife right outside on the decking - squirrels, birds, rabbits, even a hedgehog - was a real highlight. The double bath and massive 4-poster bed made everything feel even more special. Honestly, it’s a fantastic place for any occasion and we’d definitely recommend it to others. We’d go back in a heartbeat!

We recently stayed at Springwood for the second time and had a lovely experience overall. The lodge was spotless and equipped perfectly, with all COVID precautions in place. The only slight downside was the outdoor decking area, which hasn’t been maintained quite to the same standard as before - just needs a bit of TLC. Grounds looked a bit overgrown, but still a great spot. We’ll definitely return, maybe try a different lodge next time!

We recently stayed at the lodge and loved how spacious and well-equipped it was. The two en-suite bathrooms, kitchen/diner and separate lounge made our stay comfortable. The terrace, hot tub and sauna were lovely extras. Only a minor gripe - there weren’t enough plates and cutlery, so we had to run the dishwasher often. Also, one light switch was broken when we arrived, but we reported it. Overall, a great place to stay!

We recently had a lovely four-night getaway at Spring Wood Lodges in the 'Lilleskov' cabin and honestly, it was just what we needed. The place is so peaceful and beautifully set in a quiet, adult-only area that you can really unwind. We loved sitting on the patio, watching the birds and squirrels and even spotted a hedgehog-so cute! The lodges are spaced nicely apart, which gives you plenty of privacy, especially if you choose ones like 'Lilleskov' or 'Sneugle' with the hot tubs. The lodge itself was super comfortable and well-equipped. All we had to bring was food and clothes-everything else was sorted. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking proper meals and the hot water was plentiful thanks to the efficient gas boiler. We didn’t bother with the sauna, but it looked inviting and the hot tub was perfect for relaxing those aching legs after a long walk. It’s checked daily, so you know it’s clean and safe to use. In terms of safety, we appreciated the contactless check-in via a key safe, with the code sent beforeh and, which was a nice touch during these times. The lodge was spotless, with antibacterial soap and sanitiser provided, so we felt secure throughout our stay. Entertainment-wise, it’s got a good TV with surround sound, a DVD player with a decent selection of films and some books to browse through. All in all, we left feeling totally relaxed and wishing we could’ve stayed longer. We definitely recommend Spring Wood Lodges and plan to come back soon!

We had such a lovely time at Sneugle Lodge last July! Tom and Caroline really go above and beyond - from the warm prosecco welcome to the chocolates. The lodge was spotless and super private, perfect for relaxing. We enjoyed great walks and the friendly Yorkshire atmosphere. Just what we needed!

Our 4th stay at this lodge. If the 2 of you want to kickback and relax in a peaceful location, you can't go wrong here.

Lovely setting and near to some of Yorkshire greatest places to visit such as knaresborough Nidderdale. Only issue we had was positioning of the hot tub near a low edge of the cabin roof which nearly knocked hubby out. Not much room around it.

Another lovely week at Springwood ideal lodges for a relaxing time. Great to watch all the acrobatic squirrels and various species of our Birdlife on the feeders. It's our third time in Lilleskov Lodge and unable to fault it.

Nice secluded location. This lodge is brilliant with hot tub on the lower deck area making it totally private. Parts of the cabin could do with renewing such as the bathroom which is looking tired although it and the whole cabin was spotlessly clean. Would absolutely stay in grondal lodge again.

We had an amazing stay here. We booked fairly last minute so we were unsure what to expect. The lodge was beautifully presented and well equipped. It is nestled in woodland and seems so private. The hot tub was perfect. So relaxing. We spent out days exploring the surrounding areas on foot. The local footpaths can be picked up really close to the lodge, so we found there was no need to drive to expererience some stunning views. We will definitely return!

Lodge is wonderfully located in private surroundings and very peaceful. We love Springwood lodges and have used 3 of the different lodges, with all of them being very well equipped and furnished well. We love the quiet and peaceful location. We would definitely recommend.

Beautiful setting ,very private and quiet Great spot to get out and about to the local attractions Cabin was pleasant,well equipped Hot tub and sauna were a very welcome treat Just two areas could be improved; Extra towels or robes for use with the sauna/hot tub The hall and the bedroom of the cabin smelt very fusty,so had to leave the windows open the whole time we were in .

Lovey area, not far off the beaten path! But very private and very quiet. Would go again.
