Uur 2 young boys loved this park. Staff where excellent, very entertaining. Lots 2 do 2 keep them busy all day & night. The Orlando caravan is highly recomened.we are going back 22nd October - can' t wait!

My wife and I had a long w/end at solway and ended up buying a used caravan at a craking price, we have had the family down and the grand son.This is a craking site every thing you need,the entertainment is first class.Go on give it a go, going back for 2 weeks in August and every w/end we can.

stayed at solway holiday village from monday 7 to the friday 11 th .had a fantastic holiday ,, entertainment was brilliant ,couldnt nothing ,staff very helpfull ,2 kids had plenty to do ... Paul and Bex the entertainer made it great for the kids .were going back next year

Caravan was lovely and we were situated very close to the main area

Chalet needed some TLCthe microwave didn’t work properly No wifi

For the money the caravan was amazing. You must remember your own towels though

Very modern and clean

Caravan was nice, it was a bonus that there was a second toilet in the double bedroom but the double bed wasn’t comfortable at all and there was only 1 very thin a floppy each and couldnt see any spares.

No heating in one of the rooms, despite being reported it wasn’t fixed and the hot water was roasting the first couple of days then it was like warm. No hoover or anything to clean carpets

Average overall stay. Not a lot to do outside the complex need to drive atleast an hour before find anywhere to go for the day, swimming pool shop bar arcades on sight, the lodge was a bit disappointing very basic could do with pictures mirrors cushions too make it more homely, no towels provided for a shower, bath wasn’t very clean was mouldy and plug hole mucky, skirting boards mucky, rip in the kitchen floor, curtain pole in kitchen wonky as well as stains on the walls ceilings and carpet, not the worst but just an average stay probably wouldn’t go again as not alot to do in area.

The caravan was lovely and beds really comfy. Just round the back of reception, ideal spot, very clean.

Excellent accommodation

Excellent caravan with space and comfort for a family of 4 or a couple on babysitting duties !! Two bathrooms are great and showers very good . Sitting and dining area beautifully set out and the cooker in the kitchen is amazing . High quality kitchen fittings and presentation make it a home from home experience.

Hot tub was broken we arrived on the Monday was moved chalets on the Friday with a autistic son a little baby and my disability had electric tripping then when moved all electrics went off a 6am baby screaming for bottle no way to make this bottle to then be told it was planned we were not informed that electric would be going off the smell of the drainage pipes turned your stomach flies all over blue bottles

The mattresses could do with being better quality as you could feel every spring

The caravan was the best part of the holiday. Clean and up to date furnishings. The added touch was the box with the washing up stuff in. Also shower gel etc.

Clean lovley chalet hot tub was fab as well

The caravan was modern, clean and exactly what you want. Great facilities and the layout is great. The only rub is the beds felt cheap, so if you sat on the very end, the whole bed went up. And there's no lamps for any kind of ambient lighting at night.

Caravan was clean and modern. Only downside no iron/ironing board. Lovely big fridge and freezer which is a big bonus when you have a bigger family. Single beds good length and wider than what you usually get in a caravan. Very impressed

The van was very clean could have done with extra sheets for the beds as it was hot at night for the time of year but all the furniture and kitchen ect was very clean

loved the lodge and especially the hot tub plus liked to being so close to the beach

Fine chalet, although the drainage in the bath was very poor and there were no towels provided as advertised.

Relaxing stay.Holiday park is self contained and you only need to leave the park if you want tk explore the area further.Park very clean and no littering noticeable during entire holiday.

Would not recommend staying here

New cooker on order, the one we had did not have an ignition button .The mattress on the bed in the main bedroom too low making it difficult for disabled people to use .

Very homely caravan

Me and my family had a lovely weekend, chalet was lovely loads of space very clean and close to club house staff were all lovely and very helpfull

3rd visit and have to say we have always had a lovely stay, clean and comfortable, i know the chalets are in the process of upgrading so looking forward to seeing them next time. we could see a difference around the park as well including the indoor pool. i heard that the whole reception area inc pub, pool etc is being knocked down to make way for brand new amenities. the area is totally flat with lovely greens and long prom to enjoy walks and great for dogs if you have them. the town itself is an old victorian seaside with cobbled main road and a handful of shops, bars and takeaways but with easy access to the lakes and towns, happy days, will return
