Lovely place to stay and explore surrounding Penines and Lake District. Very clean park and lovely dog friendly caravans

Comfy caravan with all mod cons. Plenty of ròm for the family.

Twin room Bedrooms too small for two adults really but ok for children

Had a great time .caravan was great and scenery was beautiful

There were no dish towels or oven gloves in the caravan. Not much of a complaint, but would have been nice to have them to dry dishes and remove hot plates from the oven! if we had known, we would have brought our own.

Caravan only had 3 forks 3 cups etc which was a nightmare for a family of 4! Lots of kids fighting in the park too which wasn’t nice for my children

Really enjoyed our time here a great place to relax and recharge

I would definitely come back and would recommend to anyone who is keen to go on a carcan holiday

We had a wonderful relaxing week at the Wild Rose Park and will certainly visit again and happy to recommend to friends.

Enjoyable stay helped by recent good weather.

The paving stones leading to our van were broken and uneven and were quite dangerous.

Have visited Wild Rose once before and love the site and accommodation always clean and comfortable,however this time we found the club house noisy and overcrowded.Not easy to get served at bar or to find a table so we ate out!

Lovely holiday park. Great surroundings. Excellent staff especially young dark haired lad in the bar. Helped us out when we couldn’t use our card for drinks. Just wish the bar would start to accept cash.

Great good value for money weekend in spacious spotlessly clean lodge. The park is well kept in peaceful area. Didn’t try the restaurant so can’t comment. Would definitely return .

What a fabulous Park. Upon arrival the park is just so beautiful, well presented and clean - yes it has refurb and building works going on but that doesn't spoil anything. All staff we came across were extremely friendly and helpful, we felt genuinely welcome. We stayed in one of the Hive which were just fantastic for what we wanted and exceeded our expectations with no expense spared. The location and setting is perfect for all types of people with Appleby just down the road and the Lakes just over an hour away or perfect to make the most of the park and just relax. We have stayed on many parks and can honestly say this is one of the best by far with a lot of improvements already going on. Will be returning again very soon and would stay in a Hive again or may be treat ourselves to a caravan.

Park was amazing. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The surrounding area was beautiful and lots of things to see and do.

Great place in beautiful surroundings only negative would be the bar only sells pizza on the menu which means having to go off site for meals but didn’t ruin our trip away

Was brilliant we tried to book an extra night but it wasn’t aloud which is a shame. There’s no shop on site but. 5 minute drive to Appleby was shops to use. The restaurant was lovely fairly priced & staff were amazing! The only thing I’d say was the view of construction but it can’t be helped & it’s helping improve the park so no bother! Will defo be returning

Just back from a lovely weekend break here. The receptionist was super friendly and really tried to give our dog treats even though he sometimes wasn't interested. The bar is lovely and ic the new building work matches up to that it will be amazing

Visited this park many times, the staff are amazing especially Caitlin We were put in brand new caravan in the new development, which was lovely. Only negative is every cupboard in kitchen had something in it so finding space for food we’d taken was struggle out of sight of kids lol The new restaurant was open but unfortunately the toilets were not so 4 portaloos were in car park opposite which were everything you’d expect, smelly and unpleasant. It was extremely busy with nice weather and staff did best under challenging conditions I’ll definitely be back

We had a great short break at wild rose Park. The friendliness of the staff was amazing nothing was too much trouble. We stayed in a pet hive as travelled with our dog. The area was a little remote which we were aware of, but we walked into ormside, travelled by car to Appleby and the dog loved the dog park at the site. The bar and food was great, the pool was chilly but my son had great fun in there. The ice-cream farm near to penrith was great fun for my son and the ice-cream was divine!

We would happily return, especially as the facilities are being increased with new pool etc being built. The caravan gave the impression of being new and was immaculate, and the view was spectacular. Need a car to get anywhere but Appleby is only a few minutes’ drive away and the Lakes are reasonable distance for an outing.
