WE HAVE USED A CARAVAN AT WOOLER TWICE PER YEAR FOR THE LAST 6 YEARS FOR GOLFING HOLIDAYS IN THE AREA.LAST YEAR WE ALSO USED IT FOR A SUMMER FAMILY HOLIDAY AND FOUND IT QUIET,CONVENIENT AND IDEAL FOR A BREAK WHERE THE AGE RANGE WAS 8 TO 68.THE BEACHES AROUND BAMBURGH ARE AS GOOD AS ANYTHING IN THE SOUTH AND THE AVALABILITY OF OF GOOD FOOD IN THE AREA IS FAR BETTER.GO INTO A PUB AND YOU ARE TALKING TO THE LOCALS WITHIN MINUTES.WHAT MORE COULD YOU WANT

Well put together and Spotless unit

Caravan was spacious and for the most part clean however it was evident sofa cushions etc hadn't been removed when cleaning as pens and food found underneath.Other than this we had no complaints with the accommodation.

The accommodation was clean , the kitchen ware was a bit of a mishmash and there was the odd mark here and there on the furniture which would be expected

Spacious and cosy BUT in need of some maintenance. The decing around the cabin was rotting even had a hole in it. It was also covered in dry leaves that had not recently fallen. Sofas need cleaning or replacing - grey fabric showing wear/ dirt.Dining chairs ripped. Advertised as bath or shower however photos showed bath so we were expecting a bath, would be nice to choose this option (since travelling with a baby).

So far the spacious caravans we rented, while purchasing there are limited pictures of rooms and toilets than actual. Extra toilet in all 7 caravans we booked are comfort for family of 4-6 like ours . Friendly staff over phone and care taker lady was very polite and professional. Security person on site was too helpful he did provided us extra stuff we requested few times without questions. Also to mention cleaning lady was patience with us at check out time took an hour extra but no faces or grumpiness she was always smiley ???? Over all from Caravan staff and accommodation very good experience.

Lovely caravan, spacious and very clean and cosy.The beds were comfortable and the shower was hot and powerful.Only thing I would say was a dvd player would have been very useful and we couldnt get access at all to the wifi.

The caravan was clean with everything we needed, however, there were a few broken bits such as a toilet door which wouldn't open from the inside and a shower pipe which was broken meaning the shower dribbled on you. While these certainly weren't end of the world issues they were things that made us think the quality had gone down compared to previous stays. This was something that another guest also commented on, a general need for maintenance and a refresh.

Booked for my birthday. It was a great experience. The are is beautiful and the vans are spacious and well maintained. They come with basic cutlery, towels, bedding and even some frying pans. There is a large fridge freezer and, iron and a hair drier available. The parking next to the vans can squeeze two cars comfortably. The lovely experience is enhanced by the elegant ducks committee that keeps you company throughout your stay. The facility has also a swimming pool and hot tube which one needs to book in advance. Well maintained and looked after. I will be back.

Had a great stay and for such a competitive price. Only problem was the mattress was like sleeping on a bed of nails. I reported it to the reception staff but they didn't get back to me and in desperation on the second night I ended up turning the mattress over and thankfully that helped. I advised a member of the cleaning staff when they arrived to drop off new linen at the end of my 4 day stay and he apologised and said he was disappointed as he hadn't been made aware of it.

Lovely caravan, a lot better than expected for the money. It was clean and in great condition. The fridge and freezer were generously sized and the oven was efficient. There was also a good range of utensils and kitchen items. The bathroom was a decent size, with a large and powerful shower. Beds were comfortable, only improvement would be to have a bit more storage space for clothes in the bedroom.

We opted for a non pet caravan due to allergies. However, the living room couch, the carpets and bedrooms were covered in dog hair.

Stayed here before and this seems to be an older lodge however it was still furnished nicely and all appliances were there. Heating was really nice for the cold nights and the option to turn it off was appreciated. Staff were friendly and helpful on site and brought us more towels as soon as we requested them. Wooler is a lovely town within walking distance and has several bars and a lovely Italian restaurant and a Chinese and fish and chip shop all worth a visit. An ideal location for visiting areas such as Morpeth, Berwick, Alnwick. Would definitely stay here again.

In general the Ivy caravan 2 was a practical layout and comfortable for family of four staying four nights. Only negative would be there was no sockets next to bedside cabinets.

Lovely bright clean & spacious caravan. Beds very comfortable. Well equipped and great value for money. Shower water power was great.

Comfortable, relatively clean (bar a few dusty headboards, but that didn’t really bother me) and well positioned for play parks.

Not convenient tv not watchable and was reported but had a really good holiday

The lodge was very clean and the hot tub was very good

The caravan was big enough and had a lot of outside space. Shame it didn’t have decking but we didn’t pay for one with decking- missed it when the sun was out. Main negative is that the caravan wasn’t perfectly clean - fridge had crumbs and dirty as well as marks on the tables. The caravan missed a few appliances like a cheese grater and square oven dish.

A fantastic break. Our caravan was in the new part of the park and was immaculately clean. Wi-Fi was very weak which meant we had a complete break from technology??.

Amazing holiday will Defintely re book

This was a beautiful site, the caravan was so clean and little touches of soaps and shower gels and shampoo was really nice. The standard of accommodation was excellent, modern and very comfortable. Customer service was also really good, nothing was a bother and first night we arrived a member of staff came to the caravan to check everything was okay. The bed linen was pristine and excellent quality as were the towels. The pool was great and the gentleman that was running it was really helpful and friendly. The only little suggestion would be a little longer than 45 minutes a day session in the pool, we would have happily paid extra for a pool pass. Other than that the whole holiday was a relaxing in gorgeous surroundings with friendly and professional staff.

Was very welcoming staff all social and friendly very approachable. Would definitely recommend to all that want a nice relaxing break. Will be visiting again myself.

This was our first time staying at Riverside. The caravan was clean and had all the amenities we needed. We were on the side with new playground which my kids loved. Short walk into town CO-OP near by. The pool was a good size but you do have to book your time. My kids enjoyed the game room but beware you can only collect prizes at specific times which was not posted.

Excellent site the caravan was as it stated in the brochure. For such a large site it was really peaceful and we had a lovely few days chilling out. We would recommend it to anyone and we'll definitely be going back. Thanks
