This caravan because it was not a lodge, was clean, well equipped, just very cramped especially the twin bedroom where there was no where to put anything only under the beds and that was difficult. Sideways shuffle in this room only. The bathrooms were cramped, the showers difficult to close the doors when in and also very slippery. No towels. Not very private with adjacent caravans looking in all the windows.

Accommodation was amazing, everything seemed new! The only thing that could make the accommodation better, would be a coffee table in the seating area.

Very comfortable lodge furnished to a high standard with everything you need. Only 1 pillow per person provided but as only 2 of us staying we used the other pillows. Very comfortable bed though.

We were slightly disappointed with the caravan, although it was relatively clean on arrival it was clear this hadn’t been done recently as there was dust and various bits on the carpet, the sofas had items underneath them and the remotes had no battery covers - these little things reflect in the star ratings

Loved the lodge and forest surroundings. Very well kept landscapes around holiday homes. Lots of bins, especially good for dog owners.

Twin rooms are cramped and really too small for adults - would be ok for small children.

Would of been nice to have had some patio / outdoor furniture provided to enjoy the decking area.

We honestly had such a lovely trip! The location was spot-on for exploring all the nearby attractions, though having a car was a must. The caravan itself was gorgeous and super comfy, which meant we mostly just wanted to stay in. A truly great week!

It's pretty peaceful here, but if you're after lively activities, this place isn't for you at all.

We recently stayed in what seemed like a Platinum caravan, with the en-suite and two separate leather sofas-definitely not the usual. Honestly, it was the best experience we've had there. We’re pretty sure we got upgradedand it made all the difference!

We recently stayed in this caravan and honestly, it was quite a nice find. The place was spotless and well-keptand the location on the park was pretty convenient. The decking area was a lovely spot to relax in the evenings. However, a few small touches could really make a difference - like having some basic condiments such as salt and pepper shakersand a proper outside table to match the chairs. We also thought it would be handy to have some cleaning supplies at the start, as there wasn’t any handwashing soap in the toilet, which caught us out a bit. The entertainment options could be improved too - a sound bar or some sort of speaker system would have been great since the built-in one wasn’t working. The fire was a bit tricky to operate, switching itself off quicklyand the instructions weren’t very clear. It might help if there was an info book with details about how to use everything and some local tips. We also wondered why there’s a dishwasher and washing machine that aren’t plumbed inand wires hanging in the bedroom for TVs that aren’t there anymore - just makes it look a bit unfinished. Still, overall, a decent stay with some simple improvements.

Good takeaway options in Alnwick, but no onsite dining.

We had a fantastic holiday! The van was spotless and brand new, really comfortable. The site was tidy and well-kept, plus the kids loved the free activities. Definitely coming back with the grandkids next year!

Thankfully, we ended up with a 2-bed platinum instead of the 3-bed we originally booked. Lucky my daughter didn’t join us!

We loved our stay at Percy Wood Golf Club. The site is beautiful very nice quiet and calm. The van was exceptional and the staff were all very friendly. We found the positioning of the site perfect for driving out to visit various local attractions in the day.

We stayed for 4 nights wanting a base to explore the area and found this location perfect. The caravan was very clean and had everything you needed. We were told the golf clubhouse which was a 10 min walk served food only to find that no food mid wk. Be prepared as there are no shops or restaurants in walking distance and you really need to book any you see on your travels. Had a lovely few days stay would definitely recommend a trip to Bamburgh Castle Alnwick castle Holy island and if you are lucky with the weather longhouton beach.

The caravan was very clean inside. Supply off cooking equipment and crockery ect. very good. TV reception not so good. Seating on the decking would have been appreciated. Staff were extremely helpful, friendly and respectful.

Nice central location for Northumberland, good for couples if you like it quiet but maybe a little quiet for families.
