We visited and stayed in The Old Tact Room for the most relaxing 7 days/nights ever. My mum, me, and my dog go on regular log cabin holidays throughout the year. We decided on The Old Tack Room because of the secure garden for the dog, which was a god send! Very private (except the 2 friendly goats at the end of the garden) with a hot tub under shelter so whatever the weather we could enjoy it! Jeremy (the owner) came to greet us on arrival and was super friendly and informative. Goodies of biscuits, eggs and fire wood were left for us to use, with an option to purchase more and add the money to the honesty jar (such a lovely idea). The lodge came with an information booklet which was very thorough and the centre was a 10min drive away, but we stocked up and stayed mostly on site and there’s a lot to explore! The place has WiFi which in some spots it does not reach, but once you knew where to sit it was great! Visiting the animals were the highlight, a large secure dog field is also available for some much needed off lead time for the dog. It was lambing season when we visited and was offered to go to the lambing shed to see the babies. The sound of the horses going off for their training sessions in the morning was beautiful. The place itself was stunning, massive and super clean! The place is right next to the stables so you can literally step out of your door and pet the horses! So quiet and peaceful that we are already booked to return in 3 weeks time! Thank you so much Peckmoor (and sassy Penny the peahen) ?

The lodge is great it's like a home from home, well equipped from a coffee machine to an air fryer with the added bonus of a private hot tub, and great views of the countryside.

Lovely lodge but lacking some basics in the kitchen. Also for a luxury lodge felt a bit mean as the included ‘luxury toiletries’ consisted of two smell bars of soap and two small bottles of shampoo for four people, meaning we had to go out and buy shower gel! Not what you expect to have to do. Similarly the ‘complementary farm produce’ consisted of 6 eggs and a shop bought pack of biscuits- not even a small milk which would be welcome after a long journey to make a cup of tea. Again a bit stingy. The microwave turntable didn’t fit the microwave so the microwave couldn’t be used correctly. Kitchen missed basics such as kitchen towel, pizza wheel, slotted spoon. We enjoyed seeing the animals and the hot tub but there isn’t really much to see or do that it close to the lodge so we wouldn’t return. We felt with a little less stinginess the lodge could be so much more.

This is the fourth time staying on the farm. Twice in Two Hoots and twice in Twit Twoo which is smaller but ideal for us. Everything is perfect and of high standard. Beautiful lodges with hot tub, not overlooked and owners on hand if you need anything, Cosy feel and real escape from our usual busy surroundings. Farm animals are entertaining as you drive into the fam, mainly the emus.Would I stay here again and recommend. YES. Thank you Peckmoor for making our holiday one to remember.

A magical place to kick back and unwind, the lodge is secluded to give you privacy and silence letting you truly feel as though there is no one else nearby even though the other lodges are occupied, the owners are extremely friendly and helpful and the rolling hills seem to go on forever ! # heaven we will be back

Been to Peckmoor Farm many times now and we are booked to go back a couple more times this year, if you are looking for peace and tranquillity this is the place to go,there are animals to feed and stroke and stunning scenery which ever way you look, Jeremy and Sarah have this place spot on and with help of their family and team there is nowhere to compete with. Fussing a race horse’s nose and having him stare into your soul is something special and not available on your average holiday park!

Most relaxing holiday we've had in years! The live stock and tranquility of the surroundings contributed to this. Lodges are equipped with up to date and good quality equipment. WiFi works perfectly and hot tub was amazing!Generally clean and tidy... I'm afraid of spiders, so the ONLY recommendation would be for cleaners to look up! Cobwebs on ceilings and pictures frames in bathroom and bedrooms were obvious. Otherwise, we will definitely be booking again and would highly recommend this place!

Thank you. We were looking for luxury and seclusion and that’s exactly what we got. Owners helped make a big birthday special and always replied promptly.

We stayed in Treetops - which is a lovely lodge in a peaceful location ideal for exploring. The owners were very welcoming but not intrusive, we especially appreciated the homemade cup cakes and eggs on arrival.

Ideal for our dog too as the lodge was fenced off so didn't have to worry about her wandering off.

Would definately recommend for a relaxing stay in a countryside setting.

he lodge was immaculate and as we had someone that was terminally ill with cancer this was very important to us with Covid The surroundings were amazing and peaceful but within 40 minutes of all tourist attractions and less for some beautiful gardens and walks I cannot rate the lodges high enough and have stayed in many The owner Jeremy was delightful , helpful, courteous and left all alone to their privacy but there if needed The interiors were tastefully decorated , the kitchen superbly stocked with utensils - the hot tub was amazing You wont be disappointed Now struggling to find something as good elsewhere for the next adventure

Simply fantastic. The lodge and site was situated in a quiet location, perfectly placed to enable coastal visits during the day and then relaxing in the hot tub each evening. Lodge exceeded our expectations, with everything we needed to ensure our stay was super comfortable. Owners were excellent and easily accessible if required. Very dog friendly place, with plenty of places to walk. Very highly recommended, definitely on our return list.
Zoe
Beautiful surroundings, immaculate lodge, made for a very relaxing few days away. Welcome gift for us and our pup were gratefully received.

Carrie
Fantastic no more words needed! And if had a little shop that sold bread milk bacon n bits would be absolutely perfect! Views amazing so peaceful and lodges are spotlessly clean and have everything you need in them . Thank you xx
Terry
A fantastic rural retreat managed by a lovely team. The lodge was very well appointed and the fenced area outside meant our 14 month old black lab could potter about without us worrying if he had got any of the ducks! Very handy for the Jurassic coast. Would thoroughly recommend it.
Lisa
Had a fantastic stay here before starting treatment. Such a wonderful beauty spot and so tranquil. We brought our 1 year old dog, who loved the welcoming bowl of water and bonio the owners left for her. It was nearly as big as her head, but she managed to eat it all ?. We are definitely going to book again next year, but this time for a week - 4 nights were not long enough ! The lodge was perfect for 2 of us, and Lexi, everything you needed was there, and the beaches are about 1/2 hour drive away. Again, Lexi loved her first time on the beach. The hot tub was fantastic and was used every day !! We probably picked the best week as was lovely and warm, but cool at night. Thanks again for a wonderful break !
Jason
Absolutely lovely place, so peaceful and was everything we needed for tranquil holiday. Hosts were very welcoming and came to makesure we were settled in OK.

Two hoots has a superb peaceful location not overlooked by any other lodges ,The field you are in has sheep in but our dog just ignored them ,There is a three foot fence running around the lodge ,The inside is lovely two double bedrooms with Tv and en-suite ,one has a bath with shower over it the other has a lovely Walk in shower plenty off hot water .The lounge and kitchen are open plan very spacious with all you require including washing machine ,Crewkerne is 10 mins drive away with supermarkets etc. There is a massive double field that your dog is allowed off the lead and the river Axe is 15 mins walk if your dog would like to cool down. The owners has created beautiful lodges with all you require in a very peaceful location unless you don’t like sheep cows and some beautiful horses. Overall fully recommended Thank you for our week
Stuart
Peckmoor Farm Lodges are set in a beautiful part of the country with easy access to Coast & Country surrounded by nature and very peaceful. A great getaway.
Array
Such a lovely place to get away and relax. Slightly off the beaten track down one of the famously narrow roads of the area but only a few minutes from the town of Crewkerne. It was exactly what we needed to recharge our batteries. Not far from the sea and beautiful coastal walks offering amazing views. We also enjoyed some lovely evening walks at the farm too. A nice touch to find cupcakes welcoming us to the lodge and fresh eggs from the farm hens.
TLB
Total relaxation. Private lodges in a field of sheep. No phone signal. Great. Fresh eggs and homemade cakes left out for arrival. Delicious.
Sarah
We went last year and loved it so much had to go again this year. Such a beautiful place, lovely staff and people - just wonderful ?
