Would definitely recommend to anyone who likes peaceful holidays ,great for people with young kids very quiet, or older without kids who like quiet non rowdy holidays

top class and great value the Cottage was spotless on arrival and we tried to leave it the same was as much as possible, we will be back again soon and we would like to thank all the staff we had contact with as they was all brilliant and helped make our holiday a fantastic one

Had a lovely time will definitely be back, the accommodation was great and well maintained in a nice quiet position with private garden area.

BBC channels need sorting out as does WiFi but everything else was fantastic .

This is a excellent property which stands on it’s own. Plenty of space. A few things need to change light outside lighting and a lock on the gate to stop people just entering the garden. Will come back but when there is more open.
Grateful for Sainsburys , chip shop near station and the pub on the sea front .

My wife and I (in 40s) with girls 3 & 6. We stayed in The Mews Cottage no.2 for 5 days during February half term. Booked via Hoseasons. The car park entrance is right next to the zebra crossing. Pick your keys up in reception. The cottages are in one big building 10m past reception. The car park is a 25m walk from the cottage and you can’t see your car. It’s covered by cctv but there is no lighting at night and a bit creepy. The cottage itself was beautiful and our initial reaction was one of wow. The decor is nice, furniture comfortable , very clean, bath/kitchen sealant was all new. Downstairs is open plan and roomy while upstairs is smaller but cosy (3 bedrooms one with bunk beds). Walls are thick so no noise from neighbours and no WiFi but phone signal good (Virgin). The hot tub was just for us and screened off for privacy. It was our first experience in a hot tub and we can’t wait to get our own some day.

Dawlish itself is a small quiet place. The beach is a 1 minute drive. Parking by the beach is £2.20 all day. The beach is excellent (real sand) with amusements and a fun fair. Sainsburys is a 3 min drive away.

The cottage comes with wristbands for access to Lady’s Mile Holiday Park. The park’s front car park is pitch black after sunset. The chippy on that site only opens alternate days 5-8pm! The entertainment venue was nice. Clean, plenty of seating and queue at the bar was 5 mins. Kids loved disco time and the kids show. The indoor swimming pool was fine. There are only 5 family sized changing rooms but we didn’t have to wait. Lockers are free.

We used Tesco vouchers to visit Bicton Park Botanical Gardens for an excellent family day out. I recommend it highly.

Dawlish Warren was a lovely visit.

Lovely place, hot tub awesome

This is a very well maintained property with excellent amenities. The only slight drawback is the lack of wifi in the property.

I am hoping to book this accommodation again in the very near future and although I would recommend to friends, I’d like to keep this place to myself!!

A lovely relaxing break in a lovely comfy cottage, in a beautiful part of the world.

Great place to stay all bedlinen and towels provided. Dishwasher and coffee machine. Hot tub was great to relax in.

Enjoyed our stay large family of 7 ages of children 15 to 4 years and all had things to entertain them in all weather.

One of the best times we’ve ever had in Devon. We will definitely be back.

Great holiday only small problem was email said pick keys up at other park was incorrect just turn up and keys are in a envelope

Very good value for money, well equipped and comfortable, nice hot tub, close to the beach.

All great, but please put some oven gloves in the cottage!

We had to carry all our Christmas gifts and food from the car park at the entrance, would have much more convenient for us to have been able to park outside the lodge but the side gate was locked.

This is our 3rd holiday at Oak cliff and definately won't be our last. Fantastic place

Lovely, clean cottage with all facilities we have at home. Plenty to see and do in the surrounding area and most importantly plenty of places to take our dog Jessie. Would definitely stay here again.

Lovely location with great beach nearby. Cottage is fully equipped and very warm as we stayed in the winter. Loved the hot tub. The cottage could do with a little spruce up here and there. Beds were very comfortable. We had a lovely weekend winter break.

House was lovely also very clean would definitely stay again my only complaint was on arrival at 5pm our keys and wristbands were left stuck to a door at reception not one member of staff everything was shut up!
