Dog got injured by the screw coming out of the bed!

The Wooden beds in our lodge creaked and moved due to the joints becoming loose. If you moved then you'd wake the everyone up with the noise, so we had no sleep the first night. My son had to sleep on the sofa because if this....obviously due to no body having no sleep we all where very grumpy and tired to do anything the next day. Going away for the weekend was meant to be a relaxing break, but these lodges need to be checked regularly and the owners stay in the them selves to see how practical it is.The sofa was nice but only 1?....so all 4 of us had to sit rather tightly to watch a film.....the hot tub was lovely but 2 wall hooks on the bathroom door to hang wet towels???...a towel rail would be more efficient.....There is no insulation in the walls so you get to hear everyone doing their business on the toilet......wonderful... Because of all of this we told reception whom seemed to be familiar with my complaint. Then cutting short our break drove home feeling rather gutted that our birthday weekend away was ruined by all of the above.Will not be recommending this holiday venue again.

Great lodge. Felt like home for the few days we were there. Plenty of space for us all

We had a lovely stay at Old Buckenham Country Park. The lodge we stayed in was very spacious, very clean and the facilities were excellent. Great little play park, lovely cafe area with a large outdoor seating area over looking a small lake, and lots of space for dog walking. Will definitely stay here again.

Can’t fault the lodge, it was excellent and every child friendly.

The lodge was lovely, the beds were comfy, the shower was warm and there were plenty of utensils / equipment in the kitchen.There were quite a few ants, but probably expected in a wooden lodge in a country park.

Lovely holiday lodge amazing had a couple of ants but staff were straight out to sort the problem when we noticed them

Had an amazing time can't wait to go back in August.

Lovely site worth a visit if you are in the area

Lovely lodge, clean warm and very spacious.Equipped with everything you could need, only slight criticism would be the need for exterior lighting over the decking and hot tub.

Lovely stay and would definitely return, would suggest a few things to be added such as outdoor light however I feel like it’s only because it’s so new that that isn’t there yet

We stayed in the Brimstone Lodge which we found to be spacious very well appointed and of an excellent quality, we would happily stay there again. We found Old Buckenham Country park very calm and an excellent base for exploring the surrounding area.
