Whilst the lodge served its purpose, it was dirty when we arrived. Black mould in the shower, the bathroom floor had gone soft in areas so it felt like the floor would cave in if stepped on. The furnishings were tired and the edges were showing signs of age with frayed edges showing chipboard. There was a TV in the bedroom which was broken and the screen only worked sometimes, when it did it, was unwatchable due to large black spots. The decking was green with mildew and it just generally looked unloved. The hot tub looked clean although when we first arrived it did smell so we didn’t use it until we had seen it had been cleaned. This is far from “luxury” that it’s sold as.

We booked this as a Birthday escape which we found a decent sized lodge. Our main attraction was the Hot Tub which was excellent. We used it every day and it was well maintained by the onsite team. When checking in the team were so nice to provide a pet bag with some essentials for the dog that stayed with us. The lodge was a great size and was looked after well. Do note that the site is in the bottom of a Valley and phone signal may not be available. This was great though as really brings a disconnection from the outside world. You can also connect to the sites WiFi which was good connection. We highly recommend and would stay here again.

We had a lovely time during the February half term. Luckily the weather was good and in summer I can imagine it would be even nicer to visit.

Cleaning was very poor. Needed to be done to a better standard. I had to clean the bathrooms myself as it didn't look like it was done

This is a fantastic place for a getaway. The lodge offers everything you need in a self catering setting and the hot tub was a perfect addition to this trip. We return year on year and are never disappointed.

Would have been great if there weren’t consistent issues with the heating and hot water. Took a few days for the hot tub to become hot. Customer service wasn’t great, apart from the maintenance man. Who went over and above. Great location for visiting the Lizard and Helston.

The lodge itself is in need of some updating - we came home with a few bruises from banging our knees on the side of the very squeaky (yet comfortable!) beds, but overall, it was great and the hot tub a very welcome addition! Unfortunately the boiler system froze on our last night which meant a very cold evening/morning for the children and no gas for cooking.

Iv been coming here for years but after my last visit I think it’s time to look somewhere else. When we got there the bathroom was full of black mould and the toilet wasn’t screwed down and almost fell over we did report this and to their credit someone was straight up to fix the toilet and the mould was cleaned the next day. The reason I wouldn’t come back is it just looking a bit old and run down it’s in need of a good facelift, mould on the curtains and lot of rust and dirt, the wood in the bathrooms are rotting, we had 3 missing jets in our hot tub and a couple more kept falling out. This has been a really nice getaway in the past but just needs a bit of tlc on the small details.

This was our 3rd year in a row staying in Mullion Cove Coastal retreat , we have had another lovely week break and really can’t complain about anything. The staff were more than helpful and even let us hire the luxury bathrobes free of charge as it I was our wedding anniversary. The lodge was as always comfortable and clean and everything you need for your stay. Hot tub well maintained and checked everyday. If I have anything to say about the lodge .. is the bed .. as we stay in the same lodge every year and I say it every year… the bed is soooo squeaky!!! It definitely needs replacing !!

Overall a lovely park and location. Hot tub made the short break . An issue with the WiFi caused a little stress with no WiFi for more than 48 hrs and no phone signal. No reception staff.Would rebook again for a pleasant winter break.

The lodge was lovely and spacious. The living and dining area was light and airy. All the bedrooms had very comfortable beds and everywhere was clean and well looked after. The kitchen had all the equipment we needed and more. We were really pleased with all the touches like the bag of washing bits, tea and coffee etc.

Very relaxing holiday

Great location, 2 mins walk to Mullion Cove & short driving distance to beaches. Quiet & beautifully located. I would have given it 10/10 but the lodge wifi was temperamental & had to keep connecting & disconnecting for it to work. No mobile signal within a mile or 2. Overflow parking wasn’t secured (only 1 allocated car per lodge). Other than that, perfect holiday.

A wonderful holiday with our dog. This is a peaceful small site. Walking distance to the cove but you will need to drive 5 minutes to get to the local shops. Our cabin came with a couple of bin bags, washing up cloth and liquid plus a tea towel, salt and pepper and some tea, coffee and sugar. Shower has sample sizes of shampoo, conditioner and shower gel to get your holiday started. One evening was a little chilly but the heating comes on instantly and makes it lovely and toasty. Hot tub is clean and well maintained and sat into the deck so even though your neighbours are close you do have privacy. Overall we loved it and would definitely retrun!

Lovely place to go on holiday to
Laura
Beautiful location, really quiet and not much going on, which is exactly what we wanted after a busy day of exploring all the amazing surrounding areas that are only a short drive away. This is our second time staying here and plan to come again :)
Charlotte
Had an amazing weekend stay! The lodge was lovely for the price we paid, very quiet, no noise in the evenings from other residents, situated in a lovely location, just a short drive from most places. Lovely harbour at the bottom of the street just a 2 minute walk which we spent most of our weekend on. Lovely sunset in the evenings which you are able to stand and watch, and a little private beach in the day time when the tide is out! Will definitely be returning. Staff were very helpful, we arrived early for check in with a 4 month old baby, they got our room cleaned and ready for us as quick as they could. Very nice place.

Staff were very pleasant but check-in from 4 on a Saturday and closed at 5 seems a bit strange.
