Bluebell lodge is a home from home lodge , divan beds, comfy sofas and TV in all rooms .massive disco lights Hot tub brilliant.

The lodge was not as advertised in the pictures but it was still a nice lodge

the holiday park is very nice. The lodge has plenty of space around it and is quiet, there were a few issues that require attention, window blinds in both bathrooms door handles in second bedroom and the stains on the mattress cover was not nice, We stayed for Christmas and very pleased with the tree and other decorations.

Alot of lights not working windows were full of dead fly's hot tub was never checked in 4 days should be dip tested everyday I know as I have one myself and was told to pay 200 pound deposit on day of arrival and told deposit would not be payed back if hot tub was cloudy wen they don't even check the water and hot tub water was to low not enough lights outside lodge very dark and dangerous

Excellent facilities. Really easy to find and access. The only issue we had was on our departure we had a power cut for an hour and with it being Christmas, the emergency number could not be used. Didn’t spoil the holiday however.

It was horendus it was dirty

Great lodge

We were a family of 5 adults and had a pleasant weekend break at Lazy Bear Lodge. The beds were comfortable although the single bedroom was a bit snug for a full grown adult. There is free WiFi and a smart TV where you can log into your Netflix account. York centre is about 30-40 min drive away.

Bed in en-suite bedroom very low with limited access. No iron/ironing board . Having said that hot tub perfect . Wi-fi reception hit and miss .

We stayed in Green 5 which wasn't the lodge picture, but it was very nice, bedrooms quite small but comfy bed Some equipment was a little tired and needed upgrades but overall it was nice

Good holiday will come again

Exactly what we needed as a family with plenty to keep u as busy as u liked with also the quietness to unwind

Brilliant & cosy cottage far enough out the way to be secluded but close enough to local amenities. Amazing hotub & bathroom with underfloor heating throughout tops it off. The owners, Rob & Sharon are wonderful! (And of course Bonnie) Will definitely be coming back again for longer ASAP!!

Really well equipped house, lovely and warm too which was so nice on a rainy December day! Bath was just lovely and a nice big shower! It was everything we wanted for our weekend away and we loved staying here. We'll definitely be back! Our pups absolutely loved the underfloor heating and had so much fun in the garden. In fact Luna came home with a strained tail and according to the vet it was because she was wagging it so much over the weekend!! Very happy pups and hoomans!

Absolutely loved how well maintained and equipped this cottage is. Plenty of dog walks right on the doorstep. Very friendly host, they were so efficient and communication was excellent. We had a wonderful time in Goddard Mead. The cottage was very complete and there were walks on the doorstep. The welcome and stay was very warm. The owners are lovely people.

Such a lovely place to stay in a really beautiful, private location. The owners were really friendly and helpful, nearby if needed but without breaking that sense of privacy. The lovely cottage is situated on a working farm, but is very private. The owners, Robert and Sharon, are delightful. The cottage is very spacious with good equipment in the kitchen and the bathroom. Stayed here for a week from 15 to 22 July with our 2 mini daschund girls who thoroughly enjoyed there stay making new friends in the village of thaxted. I have nothing but good things to say about our stay. My family and myself all work full time and are rarely together, so being in the lodge together was fantastic and everything was there for a relaxing break. Have already told people to get booked up, and hope to get back there ourselves later in year.

The lodge is beautiful, clean and comfortable. The site is nice and quiet. Recommend investing in aircon machine as the lodge holds so much heat in the beautiful summer weather.

Stayed a 22 lazy bear it was well equipped,clean,modern, Internet fast had 5 fones .fantastic bubbly hot tub, queens head restaurant pub was 5***** plus and 5 mins drive . Want to go back but prices gone up double .

This is a beautiful site, for leaving the pressures of life behind and totally chilling out. The staff are so friendly and helpful. Will definitely be returning.
