Don’t waste money if you want a hot tub break - false panels been added to stop you changing temps when asked was told it was a legal requirement it isn’t not at 35 degrees - kitchen was limited on utensils and no hangers in the wardrobe truly spoilt the weekend when booking a hot tub that is just a Luke warm bath disappointing

Beautiful, scenic, serene!! We booked this for a girlie birthday wkend away and it was fantastic. Self contained cabins stocked with everything you could need. Spacious rooms and friendly staff! I especially loved how fresh everything smelled. If I could give 1 bit of constructive criticism, it would be to invest in steam cleaners as I found alot of dog hairs on the sofas which indicates someone stayed previously with a dog & we kept finding dog hairs everywhere in the lounge. Dogs shouldn’t be on sofas when it’s not your own home ???? or perhaps have a sign asking guests to cover the sofas with a throw over xx9/10 experience overall

Beautiful lodge and hot tub! Modern, clean and homely. Great value for money.

The lodge was very spacious and had everything we needed. The extra touch of dog treats and a ball on arrival is a lovely touch. Loved the welcome pack with milk, washing up liquid, tea, coffee etc. plenty of towels and robes for the hot tub.The lodge was generally clean, there were a few dust/dog hair balls that came our from underneath the sofa, lots of cobwebs in the bedrooms and some hair and dust on the floor in the bathrooms. Restaurant on site very good, we had an evening meal here and Sunday lunch which were both good.The only thing I would say is the path/road from the lodge's we were in, down to the restaurant was not particularly well lit at night. Overall had a good stay and would definitely return.

Hot tub not hot enough

We were in Lodge 58We found the accommodation immaculate, very warm, had prime on the TV,Staff were very friendly, food in restaurant was excellent, and site was spotless We have booked already to return next December

Nice quiet location, well placed for exploring East Devon.

This is our second time staying at Lakeview Manor. Accommodation and surrounding areas are amazing. Staff are very friendly although the pub onsite was so short staffed, one person was booking people in for thier holiday while trying to serve behind the bar. Biggest downfall for us is the hot tub is more of a warm bath and after half an hour you're freezing. We have flagged this on both occasions and have been told it's to do with insurance purposes.

FAB lodge it was furnished to a high standard & clean .the only thing is if it was raining, there was no place to hang yr wet coats

The lodges are absolutely lovely, very spacious and well maintained. Hot tubs checked twice a day.Very quiet and peaceful setting near lakes/ponds which are great for fishing. Only downsides for us are the privacy of the hot tubs and lodges - you can see into other lodges and the hot tubs are all at the front so not very private. Trees have been planted but not grown tall enough yet but they should provide some privacy.My only other negative is the check in/out times - 5pm is already a pretty late check in however on arrival our lodge and several others were not ready (I was told to buy a drink in the bar and wait). It was ready by 5.15pm but after travelling all day was a bit annoying. Worth noting check out is also 9am which is earlier than most places.

Whilst the lodge was clean and tidy. A large quantity of dust had gathered inside the lamp shades. Again for the money I would have expected an immaculate lodge. I have been to ledges half the price and been immaculate. A few kitchen items were also missing which would have been useful and larger glass for the adults to drink from. This is though being really pickey and did not spoil the fantastic holiday we had, especially that big comfy sofa for film nights!

Amazing holiday the lodges were great , the surroundings of the lake and walks were lovely as we also took our dog , will definitely be back

Beds were good and comfy. The lodge was spotless and a huge size. We had 6 people and 3 dogs. We didn’t feel like we were on top of each other. Could’ve done with some aircon tho. Too many windows means it gets hot quickly

very nice, good views from decking, loads of storage, and large bedrooms and bathrooms, good layout with bedrooms on each side, the beds were a litle firm but ok. nice quiet spot.

Recommended for a lovely relaxing stay. The staff were extremely helpful and polite. The food in the restaurant was tasty and good value for money. Our lodge was spotless on arrival with very good facilities. There were six of us and plenty of room the facilities within the lodge were adequate. However, just a small niggle that they left six knives, forks spoons, plates cups etc and it was a bit of nuisance, we seemed to not have enough constantly while waiting for the dishwasher etc. We had a hot tub which was checked twice daily. Although, the water was left low it was adequate however the jets were not very powerful. The water went green during the week and once brought to their attention itWas dealt with immediately. The grounds around the lodge are beautiful and kept immaculate. Overall a lovely stay

Very good lodge although some minor quirks e.g. the wine fridge was not switched on. It seems you could only operate by unplugging the dishwasher first and plugging the wine fridge instead.

Great lodge with all we needed. TV was not very good though and kept losing signal.

Really comfy and cosy lodge! Everything spotlessly Clean! The floor was a little creaky but other than that all was perfect! Milk in the fridge for when we arrived with tea/coffee. Even a little treat and tennis ball for our dog! We was given tea towels to use, sponges and a few dishwasher tablets! Everything was easy to use within the lodge and the heating system worked well, warmed up nicely on the colder days. Beds were soo comfortable!

The lodge is well equipped and clean. The hot tub was glorious and we were determined to take full advantage of the hot tub, so we used it whilst it rained (which it did most of the weekend). For those of you who are not comfortable driving on a single track, there are actually two ways you can get to LakeView. If you take the route that does not pass behind Highfield, you will be on the single track for a shorter distance. If you look on a map you will see what I mean.

Fabulous, clean and hygienic lodge, with all mod cons and appliances. Lovely food and great service in the spacious bar/restaurant. Fantastic hot tub which we all loved. Really dog friendly site, and perfect for a quiet break. Great location for exploring South Devon. Would definitely recommend.

Spectacular accommodation with everything you could need. Extremely comfortable beds and lots of extras. The washer/dryer and robes are a nice surprise as is the doggie welcome bags. Great site and dog walking/running field at the back of the park is perfect to let your dogs safely run around. Hot tub was so nice and robe hooks outside are very convenient. Staff are friendly and helpful. Lovely hot/cold doggie shower is a bonus. Quaint little pub and hotel on site. Great area surrounding the site and everything you need in a base to explore the beautiful surrounding areas.

What a lovely place wish we could have stayed longer.the lodge had everything and more too. Loved the restaurant the food was perfect thanks will be back soon

Just had a 5 day break here, which was very clean, spacious and comfortable. We had no pets but a 3.5 year old, who settled really quickly and loved her room. The staff were so helpful, especially Sarah, who my daughter is still asking to see again. We wanted a quiet break, so no phone signal was perfect, good (secure) wifi if required and the Dabbling Duck was a god send after a full day The cabin was fully stocked with everything you need and was extremely clean, with loads of storage space. We will be back Paul

The most luxurious lodge we have ever stayed. Five stars.

Probably one of the best accommodations I have ever stayed in. The lodge was so beautiful - every little thing was catered for - even down to a torch for those late night walks to the great bar and restaurant. We stayed in a Brook View lodge - not so much a view as a sound - but very relaxing and secluded. The hot tub was amazing - and fluffy robes were provided too. I could have easily stayed for a month!

Excellent location with a gorgeous lodge which was clean and spacious only thing missing was a TV in the bedroom and hooks on the back of doors (could use the sticky hooks)

Beautiful and quiet… staff was lovely

Very relaxing and great setting, bar, and staff. The only downside for us was the late check-in and early check-out times, as this effectively cuts an entire day off the holiday. We appreciate that the hot tub etc. requires maintenance, but a more typical 3pm check-in and 10/11am check-out would be much more convenient.

The lodges are set in beautiful surroundings and the lodges themselves are modern with everything you’d need to make you feel right at home. Me and my wife will be definitely coming back

Beautiful setting, very peaceful. Lodge was comfortable and well stocked kitchen, lots of crockery and backing trays bit like being at home. Only thing is you need to drive as 25 minutes away from Honiton and 30 minutes to Sidmouth
