Lovely lodge everything we could need to enhance our holiday Thank you

This accommodation was a stones through away from bar,restaurant and leisure facilities which we loved! The accommodation was avrually behind a wfobbed barrier which was great!The lodge was immaculate!The beds were super comfortable and the space was a great space for 4 adults 2 dogs and a child. The hot tub turns off at 10am which might bothered some as the hot tub is in the balcony not everyone would like to sit in it during the day as it faces out onto the site but this didn't bother us at all. We were in and out! Really lovely touches when we arrives to prosecco, orange juice, chocolates and ice cubes. We would live here if we could. Looovely lovely lodge.

Lodge was lovely, lots of kitchen equipment, towels provided, lovely and warm when heating on and the hot tub just adds to a perfect weekend stay.If there was only 1 comment to make it would be a little air freshener here and there would not go a miss to make it more pleasant when walking in

Space limited by poor layout. Water got scaldingly hot. Shower temperature affected by using other taps. Quiet location suited us.

The lodge was lovely,absolutely immaculate, the settee was so comfy, only thing missing ,in our opinion no teapot

A beautiful lodge. Spacious and well laid out. The kitchen living room area was fantastic and the kitchen was well stocked with utensils. The bedrooms were a very good size. Very impressed with how nice the lodge was.

Good family site very well maintained and a lovely leisure pool

The holiday accommodation was good, the only things missing was there was no coat rack or shoe rack.The quality of the mattresses wasn't great and very worn. The pillows were also very thin and not brilliant.It was very clean when we checked in and the kitchen had plenty of equipment and everything worked very well.

Absolutely stunning lodge!

Lovely & clean, warm comfortable. Furniture looks new like a refit , bathrooms dated & hallway doors dreary.Everything you need in the kitchen. Just a bit dated but price for weekend stay reflects that. We were not disappointed though as enjoyed it all. Lovely open view to grassed area at the front.

Very nice lodge . The addition of games and books was a nice touch .The outside decking area with furniture would have been great but in Feb not quite the weather.I think maybe larger sofa needed if 6 adults were staying ( 2x2 seaters provided)Prosecco and chocs a nice touch on arrival.

Beautiful lodge the only thing I had to do when I arrived was clean the windows. That is understandable as there is lots of wildlife so totally didn’t mind doing that 

The only issue I had was with the beds. They were too soft so I ended up sleeping on the sofa.

Stayed in Gold 2 Very Nice. Scoring is for that one.

Great long weekend with family. Would have liked an on site shop, towels provided and better signage and lighting. Other than that it was great

The park was so pleasant to stay at everything was well maintained the food excellent in the restaurant could not find fault with any thing to be honest certainly deserves its 5 star rating

Overall highly recommended South Lakeland. Only negative is no kids play area but plenty to do of site.

One of the best lodges we have ever stayed in. Fantastic cleanliness throughout. Beds were very comfortable and bedding lovely and white.

Unfortunately didn’t use but checked it out because we could eat in bar are because we had dog with us and that was fine

We loved our holiday at South Lakeland. The accommodation was brilliant, the pool and facilities were clean and well maintained, the bar was quaint and cosy & the restaurant food was really excellent!! We will definitely be stopping here again as it’s a great base to head off to different areas to enjoy your holiday.

Great sight lovely lodge perfect location

Lovely . could. Had lived in it. Only complaint could get sufficient hot water to have a bath.

The cabin was well maintained, well equipped, spacious and comfortable. We would recommend staying in a Superior Plus 3.

Very quiet peaceful site, unfortunately the restaurant cannot run at capacity due to staffing shortages, so limited menu. Very relaxing and a good base for the lakes etc.

We were very impressed with the facilities at South Lake Land leisure Village and will be returning

Nice lodges with ple ty of outdoor space, onsite restaurant was nice and reasonably priced, no onsite shop but 5min drive away from local centre with shops, pubs and restaurants, lovely pool although shallow.

Lovely setting on the edge of the Lake District and Yorkshire dales. From our lodge we did have a view of the lake and was in a quiet setting. On some parts of the site, there was traffic noise. Swimming pool, gym and restaurant onsite as well.

Visited here for years and keep returning. Love it and always return. Setting and facilities fantastic

We had a wonderful 3 nights in Gressingham 40. It was so quiet and clean. Park facilities were excellent. The lake is beautiful. Special thanks to Matt in the Fitness Centre for being brilliant. Made to feel like part of the family. We will be back.

Great location for visiting morecambe, the lakes and the dales . Restaurant was fantastic.

Cabin was great, excellent location. Would definitely go back. Would of liked the bar and restaurant to be open longer as it closed at 8 or 9pm. I can’t rate the food on site, we didn’t eat there.

Every thing about our stay was excellent
