just returned from our 3rd visit to Lakeside, what can we say ? Fantastic site all round,just checking dates for our next visit.

Fantastic place have been going there with family for nearly 20 years it's the best park it's just like being with A big family as they all make u feel as if your one of their own personally we won't stay any where else .

Our caravan was apparently the oldest on the site & used for the fisherman, dated & tired, I don't fish so not too impressed with the caravan but location for the lake was great

The caravan I feel needs updating as they are now getting tired as I think it must be at least 3 to 4 years old now and before the previous company took over they we changed every 3 years. We shall see what happens next year.

Great value for money beds and sofa very comfortable very clean and tidy lovely bathroom though we found the shower a bit small Everything worked as it should in the kitchen

Spacious and contained everything needed for self catering

As mentioned the windows were only single glazed and didn't close properlyThe gas oven was poor and didn't cook the food even when turn up full

Caravan was right by lake so perfect for us for fishing Grandchildren loved watching the ducks and the picnic table at the side was very useful Not enough chairs if you had 8 people staying and table was small.

Caravan was clean and fresh but small beds let it down.

Well worth it for a cheap get away

Osprey 6 was in a great location facing the fishing lake caravan was clean and spacious couldn't fault it

did not like the park to quiet boat house only opened at 5 o'clock swimming pool was closed not enough going on will not go again

the caravan was a little bit worn, marks on carpet but liveable.the one bedroom is very very small.nice kitchen space but can't get into the cupboards with the table in front of it.it is an 8 birth but you couldn't seat 8 in the living room, luckily there was only 6 of us.

Some issues with furniture chair legs wobbly all facilities could do with being updated

Very comfy caravan and the heating when turned on worked quickly, had all the crockery and cutlery I needed. On a downer, the cooker was very dodgy and lots of hair everywhere and crumbs down the side of the sofa and under the beds. Another confused point, the caravan was supposedly for six but there was only one double and two single beds, ended up sharing my double bed with two of my children whilst the other two slept in the other room.

Left 1st night Spoiled by the caravans lack of nurture Tv the size of a tablet!!! What is that all about!

Immaculate caravan - Honestly cannot fault it!!

We ‘upgraded’ to the osprey 6 thinking the caravan would be a bit more ‘deluxe’ however we were proven wrong. The double bed was rickety and tiny so we slept on the pull out bed in the living room for more space. The whole caravan was tiny compared to other ones we’ve stayed in at almost £100 cheaper. On the plus side, there was a microwave

Good caravan, best location #55. Basic cleanliness was ok but door mat was dirty on arrival and it's like they don't vacuum around the edges. Weird film on the table which makes it feel dirty.Basic facilities all good, Freeview TV only, zero helpful bits like hand wash, washing up liquid, cloth, salt, pepper, bin liners etc. (apart from one toilet roll). We opted to take our own towels and bedding which was fine.Small bed (double) but really comfy mattress in a sizeable main bedroom.LOTS of storage.

Superb everything you could want in a holiday home and more.Great accommodation lovely and big.Includes all the basics that you need a real home from home.

Nice clean caravan located right next to the lake. As it was a 3 bedroom it made it a bit tight in the rooms, but still comfortable

Really enjoyable time, nice quiet location. Would definitely visit again.

As always a great team of staff helpful and friendly the vans clean and well kept

Good site conveniently situated

On our 2nd or 3rd day a window in the lounge wouldn’t open so we went to report it at reception and within 5 mins a man came & repaired it. Fantastic service.

The van was presented really well spotlessy clean you felt like you could walk in and use all the kitchen things without having to wash everything.

Well laid out park in quiet and pleasant surroundings. short walk to the sea,a real bonus.

Stayed for a week, just me and my husband. Lovely quiet location caravan was spotless and adequate for our needs. May be okay for families with small children, not much on site for older kids. Easy to get around to the different beaches and sights. Would stay here again.

Lovely quiet site. The evening entertainment was brilliant especially when the children can be involved when it came to bingo. Only downside was the pool was closed but hopefully it may be open the next time we go.
