The lodge was great, the sitting room furniture needed updating as was tired looking, otherwise everything was perfect.There was a PlayStation in the lodge, but no connecting wire for the consoles to charge (I know this is a minor detail but frustrating, luckily we had a charger that worked, but not every family may).The welcome pack was a lovely touch as was the scrabble sign.In all this was a nearly perfect weekend. BUT, why do you have to pay for 3 nights regardless?

First time staying in the Birch Premier. Lovely, cosy and well equipped. Couple food marks on the lounge wall, but we cleaned it off. Didn’t affect our stay.

Payed top dollar for poor lodge.window in bathroom didn’t close or lock,quilt to small for quilt cover,tv took 20 minutes to get working as wouldn’t switch on with remote,Christmas tree to big to shut curtains an was pushed into the chair that much the branches where over the arm,bathroom door handle broken,shower cubicle to small.

Hot-Tub was amazing even in -3C temperature. Lodge was very cozy, comfortable and the personal touches and Christmas tree just topped it off for my wee lad.Excellent value and looking to returning in the near future

Loved the lodge it was amazing the setting was stunning and the added christmas tree was so welcoming, clean and loved the mice touches the prosecco, fire wood, and kitchen accessories. The food in the restaurant was lovely and staff were very friendly. Shame the christmas activities are only on a weekend but understandable as it is for kids but we loved the reindeers and the bird sanctuary was very interesting amd staff were extremely informative there. Will definitely be booking again so much to explore in the area and the walks on site were fantastic thanks

Cabin was lovely and cosy, there was a dog bed, bowles and a dog wash supplied, great place to stay.

Unfortunately we didn’t get to stay in the Beech platinum stars as it was storm damaged back in February. Shame they didn’t tell us this until after they had taken our final payment! At least they did offer an alternative which was very nice.

Perfect lodge with a lovely view of reservoir. Well stocked with everything we needed for our stay. Hot tub water checked daily.

Beech Premier Spa lodge was lovely and clean and well cared for, comfy sofas and beds, hot tub was extremely well maintained and cleaned every day, and the Christmas tree was a lovely festive surprise! Thank you for the extras on arrival too. I liked that it was possible to use Raku TV box to login to iplayer, Netflix, Channel4 player etc too if you have an account to use. Only suggestion for improvement would be to add some sort of instructions folder explaining the oven settings, dishwasher, and how to use the fire etc as no instructions provided. Really enjoyed our stay, would definitely come back again!

I can’t complain about the lodge or the Kielder Waterside holiday park, I just love it here and book most years if not twice yearly.

Fabulous holiday in a stunning location

3 years we have stayed here, cannot wait to book for next year.We like a simple quiet and no pressured holiday.November's great for that.

Very enjoyable holiday, lodge very clean and comfortable, great location.Only downside was the checking out procedure. We were checking out at 0800 and tried to leave the keys with security (as reception staff didn’t arrive until 0900) but he refused to take them, he didn’t seem to know the procedure. A kind staff member passing sorted us out. Would recommend a key dropping off box in reception.

We cannot praise our stay at Willow Swim enough this was our 5th visit to Kielder Waterside and have already booked this lodge for our visit in 2025.

This holiday at Kielder waterside was just what we wanted. The chalet was spotlessly clean upon arrival. The staff that we dealt with throughout our 10 day holiday were courteous and very polite towards us and nothing seemed to be a problem for them. The facilities at the venue were quite extensive with lots of walks through the trees and around the reservoir available. Although , in my opinion the cost of the holiday was a little high, myself and my family thoroughly enjoyed our time there. Thank you so much to all the staff at Leaplish site at Kielder water.

Great lodge with good facilities. Lovely free touches of prosecco, milk and dog treat. Robes and slippers great.Points to consider:Torch in lodge to aid walking back from pub.Hooks outside lodge near hot tub to hang spa robes on.Better outside lighting at lodge as steps from hot tub slippery and dark, could slip.

Used the pool only.Booking system meant not over crowdedRecommend the personal booking at £30 for a private swimClean and provided towels

Excellent accommodation apart from garden and deck not been enclosed for our dog.

Lodge nice not enough cleaning cloth’s for wiping up. Lots of glasses but none to accommodate a spirit such as a whiskey, also no ice cube trays as shop had no ice, so could not make any. Loved outside area with hot tub and chimnea.

We had a fabulous couple of days and loved everything about the Lakeside Park. A fabulous area with lots to do for all ages.We booked this lodge as it is advertised as accessible, and although it is very comfortable and the facilities and furniture fittings are very good, it lacks the requirements for most wheelchair uses. The bathroom is very spacious but it lacked any grab rails, a couple of wingback chairs to replace one of the 2 seater sofas would be a great addition.

The cabin was clean and welcoming and had all we needed to use if we were staying in. Brilliant that our dog settled in quickly too

Excellent and relaxing vacation

Comfortable lodge with everything we needed.Loved the large complimentary toiletries in each bathroom.Games console for the kids. Good WiFi was a surprise as booking information said there was none in the lodge.

The lodge was nice, not luxury but a good standard. The hot tub is right at the back of the property and not totally private which I wasn't keen on.We would stay at Kielder Waterside again, the staff were friendly and helpful and the restaurant was good. The location is lovely.
