Lovely lodge

A beautiful lodge, perfect size for 2 people. Loved the position of the hot tub, we were able to overlook the fields. This is a place I would definitely recommend.

Absolutely excellent lodge. Location was perfect, so quiet and secluded and not overlooked. Spotless, so very clean. Quality utensils and kitchen equipment. Very comfortable bed. Loved the hot tub. Would definitely recommend and will book again if we can

Wonderful lodge with fantastic hot tub. This made for a very relaxing break. The whole place is really comfortable and lovely to come back to after a day out.

Henfields is a little piece of paradise on arriving home we’ve booked again. The lodges are really something special the staff are super friendly and make you feel so welcome. The lodges are set out to give you privacy and the hot tubs are amazing, robes slippers and separate towels are provided and the welcome pack is a lovely gesture. Love this place.

Wonderful post lockdown break. Lodge was perfect, sparkling clean and had everything you could need and more including a wine cooler, smart TV's in bedroom & lounge and an amazing hot tub. Pure luxury. Staff were friendly and helpful, cannot wait to return. 10/10.

Brilliant little get away

Light, modern lodge which was safe for our dog everything provided even treats for him. We really enjoyed the hot tub and had a relaxing break.

The lodge had everything we needed. Welcome pack was lovely touch. Brilliant attention to detail.

You couldn’t fault the lodge. It had everything that you have at home and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

It was great for 2 couples to get away as there are 2 bathrooms.

A lovely modern lodge which was well equipped for cooking. One more medium frying pan would have been perfect! Very clean and tidy, hottub maintained twice a day. The staff were friendly and helpful, answered any questions we had. There did not seem to be too much around for walking or bike rides but if your happy to relax then I would highly recommend.
The only reason for being a 9 overall is the water pressure throughout the lodge, when one tap was turned on it affected another. Not a huge issue when you are staying for a few nights but a minor point to feed back.

Could not fault Otters View Lodge, this is the last Lodge on the site giving lovely views. Henfieds Country Retreat is very Clean and Tidy, immaculate. Everything is done to an extremely high standard.

Fantastic lodge very warm and very comfortable well equiped and very homley, very clean and tidy really comfy bed great hot tub and shower nice touches were the robes, slippers and differant towels for the hot tub very very good value for the money paid

Absolutely lovely! Pros: spotlessly clean, loads of room, huge wardrobes, bedrooms and bathrooms, very comfortable beds, top quality fixtures and fittings and very private/quiet. Like staying in a top quality Hotel - just the job to recharge your batteries! Cons: Just a few, almost not worth mentioning things, to make this lodge perfect: Operating instructions for cooker would be helpful, more crockery (dishes) for if you’re cooking, and extra lighting around hot tub for dark winter nights.

otters view is a lovely lodge with excellent views. its got no other lodges close by so very private.

Lodge was really clean and has great facilities - hot tub, smart tvs in each room, washing machine and dryer. Wayne the manager welcomed us and showed us around our lodge. Views are beautiful and its so peaceful. Will definitely be coming back!

On arrival Wayne was extremely helpful and informative. The lodge was spotless and even smelt clean. It was equipped with pretty much everything you could need and was presented immaculately. If I was being hyper critical I would say that the sofa's could be more comfortable and that one more side table to rest your drink on would be a good idea. Again being hyper critical, the loungers could be more comfortable, maybe some pads would solve the issue. All in all, I would not hesitate to recommend Henfields. We'll be back, that's for sure.

Superb place

Lovely friendly staff, nothing is too much trouble. Surrounding are fab, with lots of wildlife and a 10 minute walk into the local village

Excellent lodge

First stay Henfields Country Retreat and was really impressed. It was spotlessly clean, well equipped and comfortable. The hot tub was ideal and the surroundings were lovely and peaceful.

We stayed in the door mouse pod, it was beautifully tucked away within a tree area and very peaceful. Ideal for us as a couple and our dog. Hot tub very relaxing. All in all a lovely place and very clean

We had a fabulous time at Henfields Country Retreat. We stayed in the Rabbit Warren which had everything we needed and was very clean. The Lodge had it's only little secluded garden, which was lovely for relaxing. The lodge was a ten minute walk to the local village where you could go to the local pub for a drink or a meal. Also, we tried the local Indian Restaurant which provided good food. We will definitely book again as there was lots to do in the area and we could not fit it all in, therefore still plenty to do on our next visit. The owners where very helpful and made sure we were happy.

Found it to be really relaxing and good location. Lodge really clean and well equipped. Hot tub very comfortable and spacious. Would happily recommend.

A very neat and tidy lodge and we could not fault it. It was one of the better lodges we have stayed in with plenty of room. The outside decking was roomy with a hot tub and they had also made a space where you could place a disposable bbq if you wanted one. We were greeted by the owners who showed us the lodge and explained where everything was. There was also a lovely welcoming pack that was a nice touch.

Excellent and very private. Near to plenty of places to visit.
