Everything was perfect

We have been there twice now and would definitely be going again

Beautiful area, cottage in a quiet place. Furniture and fittings , especially the beds need replacing, the worst we have slept on in years. You could feel the springs as we got into bed . The curtains hanging down off the rail, I wanted to put them back on the hooks and tidy it up for them, but not enough hooks. The oven and utensils were unclean. However; there were plenty of white goods, washer dryer fridge and freezer. Heating that worked. The lodge felt like we had travelled back in time and needed updating to how cottages are nowadays.

Lodge was spacious and comfortable. Enclosed garden area with seating area and hot tub. Good kitchen facilities. Peaceful location as set amidst farmland but within driving distance of attractions, nice walks and shops. Good base for a family holiday

A great quiet location with lovely surrounding countryside to explore. Make the most of the dark skies at night for stargazing too!

We loved the peaceful setting, the lodge was charmingand our dog adored the enclosed garden. The hot tub was fantastic, always well-maintained. Great stay!

We really enjoyed our stay! The lodge comfortably fit four adults and two dogsand having an enclosed garden was a real bonus. Spending my birthday relaxing in the hot tub was just perfect. We’d definitely come back - it was a lovely break!

We loved how peaceful and private it was, just what we needed. The owners were super friendly and always around if we needed anything. The place was spotless and cosy. No WiFi, but EE worked perfectly for us. We'll be back for sure!

The lodges are really comfy and well-kept, perfect for relaxing getaways. We loved the warm welcome - that basket with milk and eggs was a nice touch! The staff were friendly and helpful, making everything easy. The location’s peaceful, yet close enough to explore. Overall, a great stay, we’d come back for sure. Definitely recommend if you want a chilled break!

We spent a lovely week at Primrose Lodge and really enjoyed it. The lodge had everything we neededand the weather was perfect for relaxing outdoors. We brought covers for the sofas since our dog is allowed on ours at home, so it was great to have peace of mind about the furniture. The tub was a real treat after busy days, making the stay extra special. We’d definitely go back!

The lodge was a lovely spotand we really enjoyed the peaceful surroundings. The welcoming lady made us feel at home straight away. The only downside was the flies - they were quite persistent and there wasn’t anything to keep them at bay. Still, overall, a great stay!

Secluded and quiet ,Lovely lodge and enclosed garden for the dog,Hot tub was really good and the chemicals were checked daily

We were lucky enough to book primrose lodge the day before arriving following a late cancellation. Upon arrival we soon found that the lodge was just what we needed, large garden for our little Italian greyhound, huge hot tub and cosy home comforts. The photos online don’t do it justice.

No internet or signal was not an issue for us, it was so nice to escape the chaos of life before I start my job as a newly qualified mental health nurse next week. We spent our nights in the hot tub looking at the stars with all the lights turned out. It was so peaceful, with nothing around other than the other lodge which we could never hear.

We spent our days at Elan valley only 30 minutes away, which has the most breathtaking views & dog walks. We hope to visit again in the future.

No staff were present or needed. Beautiful secluded spot and the best hot tub we have used.

The lodge was beautiful, the views are stunning. If you are looking for a break away with nothing at all to do apart from walk and relax this is the break for you! Because you are quite literally in the middle of nowhere ?

Fantastic lodge, excellent hot tub & the enclosed garden was absolutely brilliant for our 2 dogs to play. Very quiet peaceful area, nice to relax. Nearest shopping was about 8 miles away (Tesco Llandrindod Wells) but we ordered online and arranged delivery to the lodge for our first day arrival which was perfect. A bit further away (approx 40mins) is Newtown, more variety for shopping and a lovely park where dogs could run off lead and play in the river. Highly recommend.

We had a amazing holiday! Went went during the hottest days of the year, heartsease lodges were a god send! because we took our kids and dog some afternoons we had to stay in the lodge thankfully the garden area was brilliant for them all, enough room to kick a ball, play stuck in the mud or tag, the hot tub was amazing. I would recommend these lodges to everyone they are perfect.

Really nice lodge to come to for a relaxing break, all facilities were clean/ in working order. Staff were nice/ helpful, would recommend staying here if you want a lovely relaxing break

What a wonderful place to holiday, The hosts made us feel very welcome along with our fur baby Daisy, who had a lovely enclosed garden to wander in .The hot tub was a pure luxury and enjoyed very much. If you want total peace and quiet ,this is the place to come to . Out in the middle of no where ,lovely walks from the front door ,and scenery that’s beautiful. Thank you for such a special place to recharge our batteries. 100% recommendations.

Photos don't do it justice. Lovely ranch style lodge. Well equipped. Very quiet and peaceful. Enclosed garden was a big plus. Would have given 10 but there's only one bathroom in the lodge. Needed an ensuite at least.

Lovely clean lodge. Perfect for dogs they loved it as it was all closed in fantastic for them and they had the freedom to run around. Hot tub was great. If its a break you need away from things then this is the place to go.

Exactly what we wanted, a short break away in a rural location with great facilities. Clean, comfortable and with everything we needed (including Tesco delivering our shopping). Hot tub was a great size and easily fitted 4 adults, it was checked daily for the chemical levels and these adjusted with no impact to guests. Will definitely return!

Fabulous 4 nights enjoyed by all. Great secure garden for the dog. Hot tub was amazing. Picturesque location. Only a few miles from the supermarkets and Llandrindod Wells lake and cafe which served great food. Would definitely recommend.

Spacious, homely, peaceful location. A lovely getaway for families or couples. Pet friendly and great personal touches from the farm.
