Friendly and helpful staff, nice cabin, great fishing.

We have stayed here before but this is our first time in otter mill lodge . It’s clean comfy with good heating , hot water and WiFi ( new system!) the hot tubs are spotless and a lovely bonus. My husband enjoys the fishing and says it’s great . The only negatives are the mattresses on the beds were not comfy for us and the bath/ shower is old and tired . But we have booked again as my husband loves the fishing and it is a peaceful lovely setting.

Ideal for family holiday. Very warm and cosy.

I stayed in foxy mill a small studio it was perfect, everything you need even a dishwasher. Very clean and a comfy bed. Lovely walks around the lakes, I’ll definitely be going back ????

Excellent facilities, gas central heating, combi boiler, freeview tv etc....home from home.The fishing was superb. 100% gurantee of catching a fish!To re book for this or next year and dog friendly too!!

We were upgraded before our stay to hedgehog lodge due to otter mills hot tub being repaired and we were fine with this.Hedgehog lodge was perfect so clean and spacious and we loved the hot tub

Comfortable well equipped lodge. Lovely well maintained hot tub in covered location so can use in the rain!!! Lodge well placed for trips to Exmoor, the Devon/Dorset coast and local forest/canal walks.

Lovely and warm and cosy but a bit tired in places. Mould in the bathroom and some cobwebs high up.Information given incorrect, said there was a washing machine and no dishwasher but there was a dishwasher which was great and the tablets were provided.Staff on site very helpful.More crockery and cutlery needed and things like a mixing bowl would be helpful.All in all we enjoyed our weekend there.

Another lovely stay.It is our 4th visit to Goodiford Mill and first stay in Otter Mill Lodge.The hot tub is amazing and has been updated. The lodge is lovely and warm and well equipped with clean comfortable beds.Double was a bit too small for me and my husband so we had to sleep separately.The bathroom coukd def do with an update ,but overall a lovely place to stay at a great price!!

Fantastic lodge. deceptive as looked smaller from the outside. when inside there was everything you needed and more. Quiet and peaceful.

This was our first time at Goodiford Mill but not our last as already booked to go again next year! The lodge and the hot tub were very clean and the surroundings are peaceful and beautiful. My husband said the fishing was great and the lakes are well kept and stocked. My only niggle would be that it would be nice to have a walk in shower rather than a bath with a shower over it , this would also upgrade the bathroom as it was a bit mouldy round the edges but the shower was powerful and hot. All the staff were lovely and very helpful. We had a very relaxing week. Thank you !

lovely great holiday

We had a fabulous relaxing break away. There was 9 of us who stayed, 4 adults, 5 children in 2 lodges. It was great to see the children being children and playing safely. We didn't want to leave. We all hope to visit again in the future.

The holiday was very relaxing and the beds were absolutely wonderful so comfortable and very caring it was a really enjoyable relaxing holiday and I’d like to say thank you

stayed in 1 bedroom foxy lodge, the lodge was clean and tidy when we arrived, had a few issues with the lodge when we arrived but were resolved very quickly the next day, the bathroom is a bit tight for space, you come out the shower right next to the sink, you come out the bathroom and the door hits the wardrobe, but other than that thought the lodge was very nice, the hot tub was good and checked regularly, its very peaceful and quiet at night, its in a nice secluded area but you will need a car to visit anywhere, i enjoyed my stay there and can recommend a visit.

Our stay at goodiford mill was amazing. The host couldn’t of done more. The lodges were out of this world. Quite clean. Everything you need in the lodge is there. The hot tub was lovely and warm. So the fishing. If you want all day action this is the place to come. Arm ache is a understatement. Fish in superb condition too. I will most definitely be visiting for pleasure fishing along with staying at the venue. Thanks again Sam.

We had an amazing time! Stayed in Beaver Lodge. Lodge is very comfortable and does have everything you need. Excellent hot tub always ready for you. Haven’t used the lakes, as we don’t fish. However, saw big fish being caught. Highly recommend this place. Very friendly and helpful owners. Thank

Loved it have been before the place is spotless and the hot tub is massive the lovely setting is amazing really lovely walk to kentisbear through the meadow. Could not fault the place But just to be aware that you have to give £100 deposit on arrival but this is refunded

A great place to go for a peaceful, relaxing holiday. Lodges are clean, spacious and comfortable. They have everything you need for a week away with the added bonus of the hot tub. Close enough to the town if you need anything, as well as easy access to the motorway for day trips, but far enough away to avoid the noise and busyness. Plenty of outside space for children to play and explore. Staff are helpful and friendly. The perfect base for a family holiday.
