Nearby in New Quay there is a restaurant called The Pepper Pot, this is a fantastic dog friendly place. Go here for some food. This is a great location for beach and cliff walks direct from the property. Lovely views of fields and the sea. The accommodation is semi detached and the walls are thin, so we could hear the TV from the next property. The chalet was quite compact and small. The bed was comfortable and the sofa was comfy. I think the property was great value for money and I would recommend it to couples (with a dog) for a relaxing break away. We had no signal but we wanted that to cut off. I would definitely come again, as we thoroughly enjoyed it. Thanks.

Spot on amazing place / location friendly staff.

A late holiday with chilling out the main goal. We booked through Hoseasons at what we thought was an absolutely brilliant price. We arrived and were met at the reception by Debbie who gave me the keys and some useful information for our stay. The room in the apartment block was immaculate and we knew instantly that we had done well with our choice. Everything we needed for our stay was in this lovely place, including complimentary coffee pods, bottle of bubbly and a couple of local bottles of beer. (Great touch) We were also lucky enough that after the weekend everyone else in the other 5 apartments in our block we're away home, so again we couldn't have picked a better week to have booked. Other than a rain day on the wednesday, which we stayed in and rested whilst watching the weather do its thing. All in all, this area of west Wales was beautiful. I should imagine it gets busy in the summer but an out of season break is highly recommended by us. Don't be put off by the new 20mph speed limits as it really didn't affect us too much. A return visit is in our plans for the near future.

Lovely location. Great site and lovely sea views from apartment. New quay is 5 minutes by car.

We would highly recommend a stay here. The views are stunning, the location is ideal, so many other towns nearby worth a visit. The coastal walk from the village to New Quay is phenomenal. It's lovely and peaceful on site so great if you need to escape from the hustle and bustle.

Lovely views, great location

Great holiday, really enjoyed the coastal walks and pool and tennis at the holiday park. Nice to have a picnic bench outside the chalet to dine al fresco (weather permitting).

Can’t knock the view or the lovely staff members. They were very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. The view was superb. Some small problems with the chalet however , the toasted didn’t work, the kitchen blind was broken. Someone had stuck it together with sellotape. We didn’t complain t the time as we didn’t want to cause a fuss on something trivial. We had a super holiday all the same. Thank you to all the staff members they are great.

Great base and location however the chalet was tired and not very clean dead flies on all window sills large milk stain around fridge/floor also carpet covered in dry paint stains from last decoration in main bedroom Chalet 20

Location amazing breathtaking views, peacfull. Loads of walks avaliable. Not to.far from Aberaeron or Newquay.

Great place to stay

We enjoyed our holiday. Gilfach is a nice little holiday village with a small pub and games room. The chalet was nicely furnished and comfortable. The downside was that our chalet, Ty Haf, was directly opposite Reception and at the junction between the road coming down from the main road and the road through the village. There were no blinds at the front windows facing outwards and so everyone passing could see in. Other chalets on the road down through the village had blinds at the windows facing the road and I can't understand why our chalet didn't. It was like living in a goldfish bowl, there was no privacy.

Great little cottage with all essential equipment and was cosy. Good location for exploring the area. The outside hot tub decking area could do with some screening as no privacy. The window in the main door needs to have a blind or be totally frosted.

All good except for the low pressure serving the shower. It worked but dont expect to be taking a quick 5 minute one.

Nice clean chalet. Own patio area with stunning views. Clean and comfortable with everything you need.

Excellent all round

This chalet doesn’t benefit from as good views as those lower down and being opposite reception means a lot of footfall which wasn’t the best with two giddy dogs x the chalet was very clean and comfy and everything you need to self cater provided though

Everything you needed was there no wi fi in chalet

Would highly recommend the gold chalet, it was brilliant - everything you needed was there. Even a free highchair for our little one. The information pack in the chalet was really helpful - listing local supermarkets, beaches (including dog friendly) and other information like laundrettes and the local milk bar! My only niggle is that there were LOTS of cobwebs, but these are easy to miss, and the en suite shower hadn’t been cleaned as there were half used mini shampoos left and soap scum. Overall though, it was fantastic and we are disappointed that there’s no availability left for our summer holiday!!

It was spotlessly clean . So comfy and cosy. And lovley and warm . Bed really comfy too x

Had a wonderful break in bijou cottage. Ideal for a couple. Lovely peaceful setting right on coastal path. If you're after a quiet break it is perfect

We had a wonderful week! The apartment and hot tub were wonderful and sooooo quiet and peaceful, just what we wanted. Excellent value and accommodation and staff ( especially Debbie) exceeded expectations.

Absolutely loved it. The view from our lounge was spectacular, the apartment was lovely and we had a great time.

The appointment was very well equipped everything I needed for cooking we had a really lovely time and the best view you could wish for. Beautiful and clean very modern lots of storage too.
